Very professional finish. Very satisfied with the effort. Also did repair work on my outside wood deck.

They are excellent, Joshua is a very smart guy, they are easy to communicate and very considerate.

This is the second time I have used Josh. The last time was in 2012 for outdoor painting. He was responsive and came out same week for a quote. He was able to get me on the calendar within 2 weeks. It was a 2 day job. Since he was able to get me scheduled quicker than I expected, he helped me decide on paint color since I had not had time to decide. They were professional, clean, quiet and efficient. The nice thing about Josh is he always goes the extra mile. Offered to patch a wall by my front door that had a gauge in the drywall (2 areas) and did this for free. This was not one of the areas I was painting, but I had leftover paint he could use. He also offered and changed light bulbs out that were on a high fixture that is hard for me to reach. Additionally, he painted all the doors in my master bath/bedroom for free because he commented it was just not going to look right with the freshly painted walls. The doors look fabulous with a nice glossy finish. He was right-they would have looked terrible not done. He patched drywall in the bathroom that was crumbling. Had him patch the ceiling from an old leak that damaged the drywall in my office. The leak was repaired instantly, but I never had the drywall patched and ceiling repainted. Looks great. Also, had another bathroom ceiling painted and small area of ceiling patched where a nickle sized amount fell off that was over a screw. He also offered to caulk and paint the piece of wood over my garage door that was chipping for $75. I had paint left over from 2012 job. Everything looks great! Will hire again!

Joshua and his staff were great to work with. They communicated well with both my husband and myself. They did excellent work and reviewed what they did each day when I returned from work. Joshua had great suggestions to update the appearance of our house, and we couldn't be happier with the final product. Our house looks great! Mr. Devries is the consummate professional. He worked with me on every step of our large project. He was responsive to all of my many questions and my wife's questions as well. He gave several colors of paint on our wall and talked to us about trends and what would go with what. He has over 20 years of experience with this work. Mr. Devries was not the cheapest of all of the people that I had give me an estimate. But he was the best and every dollar that I spent was very well spent. I would not hesitate to hire this guy in a second.

I quarter round installed after my new floor went in. Painters were suppose to fill nail holes and paint the trim wherever the new flooring was installed. Still waiting on one closet to be done and that was last year.

The work was beyond our expectations. The workers were very thorough and neat. Joshua DeVries was very professional, helpful and very responsive! Definitely will be using him again!

Awesome job and excellent quality! Josh is very customer focused - he will not be satisfied until you're satisfied. We had some minor drywall damage from kids' toys and baby gates, as well as nail pops from the original construction. All of that is gone now and our walls looks better than they ever have. The crew always arrived on time and was polite and respectful. Josh's painting experience really helped us select each paint finish based on how we use each room and our expectations around cleanability. I would definitely hire Josh again!

It went great. We have used Joshua several times before for both interior and exterior painting work. Joshua and his crews have always done a superior job for us. Joshua has an eye for spotting things that need repair, repainting, patching, etc. The kind of things that he homeowner might notice later and wonder why they didn't have Joshua take care of it while he was there. Just to have him notice those type things and fix them while he is there anyway is a great asset. Work is always professional. Crews are always courteous and accommodating. Pricing is upfront with no surprises. Quality of work exceeds price, in my opinion. DeVries Custom Painting is probably not the cheapest painting contractor out there, but it is also not the most expensive. However, I think his work is as good or better than the most expensive. We have always been very pleased with the outcome of his work for us.

Joshua was great to work with. He was responsive and his price was transparent (he gives you the receipts for all materials used for carpentry repairs).

Excellent! From estimate, to preparation, to painting, Joshua and his crew were very thorough and professional. Joshua approached the painting project from the homeowner's perspective and made great suggestions on how to make the paint job last longer. The preparation work was impeccable. They power washed every corner and caulked every crack and hole. Last and not the least, the actual painting was simply beautiful. Our home looks brand new again!

Excellent service. Joshua was very responsive to come to the house for the quote. He not only told me what he would do but also why he would do it. He was very detailed in explaining the prep work, etc... I got a total of three bids and his was competitive but not the lowest. We feel he prepped and painted our house like it was his own. Extremely professional. We needed to have a trim board replaced, leaky gutter seams were sealed and our front porch concrete was resealed as well as the exterior painted. We are very happy to have selected DeVries Custom Painting for our project ! We highly recommend them. We will use them for future needs.

I couldn't believe such hard working professionals are still available...and at a reasonable cost. They are very careful and leave the area cleaner than when they started. Really impressed with this company--very responsive--came out the day I contacted them and were in the house ready to paint the next day. We kept adding things on but they had no issue with that. We only had to take the pictures off the wall and move the knick knacks--they did all of the heavy lifting and put the house back together perfectly after they were finished. We could not be happier with the quality of the paint job and will definitely use this company again. The wife has a list of projects for the rest of the house!

When he did visit, he was very professional. He suggested a way we could do it cheaper and had some other good ideas. So far, so good. The price he quoted was very good; I had a couple of other estimates. He told us how to do it more economically, which is unusual for vendor. He did tell us there would be a delay; if I don't hear from him this week, I'm gonna call him. His professionalism was very good; I was very impressed. I've already mentioned him to a couple of other people, based on his visit.

Josh was very responsive, and was able to schedule us in fairly quickly. When he arrived his team was very professional and did a great job in painting our rooms. Will more than likely use them again.

Joshua and his crew did a great job on deck and bathroom. Old stain was peeling and very time consuming to remove to prepare for new stain. Beautiful job on bathroom.

From start to finish Josh and his team did an excellent job. Josh explained what they would do and made some good suggestions.They showed up on time, kept a clean work space and finished on the time frame they said they would. The price was reasonable too. I would hire them again in a heart beat.

Arrived on time stated, went to work, kept area clean, removed wallpaper, prepare wall for paint. Primed and painted kitchen, cleaned up. All were polite and friendly.

We have used Joshua many years and he always does a beautiful job!! Ceiling and wall are now perfect....no sign of repair:)
