Custom Floors

They did a very good job. I'm pleased with them in general. There was one sales person at the store and she wasn't very responsive. I didn't like that but the job they did was superb in my house. I went back there for another job but I didn't like the sales person at the store. I spent a fortune for the job they did. They are professional. They know what they're doing. If there's any problem, they come back. They are responsive and responsible. Everything and anything is good about them. They may be pricey but not as pricey as the other ones I think according to me. I'm happy with them. I will use their services again in the future.

Salesperson was on the slow side getting our estimate and scheduling. She was helpful in selection. Toilet removal and re installation could have been better. Tile installers were awesome and floor is lovely

I cannot begin to express how happy I am with the new carpet! The lady I worked with Nicole Coffey, was very patient, professional, nice and provided honest answers and opinions, There are many places where you can purchase carpet, but Nicole sold me on Custom Flooring and I will never go anywhere else! We are also planning to replace our countertops in the future and will definitely be calling Nicole for that job as well. I am extremely picky and the job was done to perfection! She also did a follow up call a couple of days later to ensure my carpet was perfect. Thanks Nicole and Custom Flooring!!

They were very coordinated. They had the granite countertop people and the tile people come in at certain times right after each other. The whole job got done in two days. The workers were great. They cleaned up after themselves really well. They just came on time and did their work and they did an excellent job.

I was very happy with the wood flooring. She explained to me how the prefinished flooring has a harder finish on it and it lasts longer. My dog used to leave scratches all over the floor. Now it's more in the wood and not going to the finish. I've been very pleased that I got this hardwood finish from her and I'm very happy that she recommended that I get it done rather than having a hand finish. There was a little bit concern to me that the workers had to come back again and work on the wood floor. They used some small pieces of wood in front of the patio door that we didn't like the way it worked but they came back again and replaced it with long ones.

The work went really well. We have looked at a number of places. The price was comparative. Some company we used for the kitchen work recommended them. We just could not find quite the right color combination of marbles that we were looking for. We had our cabinet sample, painting, and our flooring, so we had everything with us. They had an artificial or natural white bulb and the white bar that they set up that can roll around; so we can see each one in the real light. They actually had a Brazilian marble that would end up being just perfect. We were looking at another one, but they kept thinking that they had a better combination for us. It was all in the same price range, and they did not try to up sell. They came out and did the template. They were very careful with that. They did a great installation. They paid a lot of attention to detailing work. Once they finished with the template, we met in the warehouse with the two slabs that we had selected. Then we placed the template exactly on the slab, and made it work out. We really had those hands on approach. We were happy with the price; but it was same as anybody else's price.

I wanted to install a direct vent fireplace and have it finished with custom granite and tile. I met first with salesperson David Sharp at Custom Floors. He was able to recommend a contractor to install the fireplace and personally met with them to design the installation. Because of David's design talents I was able to complete the project without hiring an independent designer. David was willing to meet with me several times to modify the design and personally oversaw every aspect of the project.

I have been thrilled with the service and product and installation quality provided by Custom Floors. I have especially appreciated by the service provided by my salesperson David Sharp. Becuase of David's design talents I was able to complete the project without hiring an independent designer. David provided exceptional service throughout the entire process, especially in the selection of materials. He also took the time to check on the installation process, and followed up to complete all touch up items.

They were ok. I used them because my decorator recommended them.

I think their price is reasonable. I think they have done a very good job. They are very conscientious. Their workmen cleaned up after themselves every day and arrived on time. We have been very happy with them.

Their estimate was for $6000. I would take an estimate from them in the future.

The tile went great in what I picked out and the help they gave. Price was reasonable and came in on time. The granite I bought elsewhere because of better pricing, more interest and better environment to check out the granite. Custom's warehouse was dark and tough for me to see the selections. Carpet was bought elsewhere as well eventhough I was in 3 or 4 times. I was looking for a better price on a certain carpet and on 2 occasions salesmen was to get back to me with a quote but failed to do so on both occassions. I spent the $6000 on carpet and $3000 on granite elsewhere eventhough I would have been content to buy it here. They didn't do a bad job but the other places were just much better from a personalized service aspect.

The sales person I had, Eric Timblin, was not the most personable and responsive sales person I have ever worked with. After visiting my home, to prepare an estimate for the granite and tile floor, I had to email him and ask him if he was wanting my business as I never received an estimate. The floor tile that I had selected from the Custome Floors sample arrived and I had to return it was in the wrong color. Eric said he would was going to check with the manufacturer and get back to me but he never did. Eric was going on vacation at the time for 10 days and I had to wait until he returned before being able to addressing the tile issue. I did select another tile but had to constantly email Eric to find out the status and delivery day...he never took the initiative to keep me abreast of the status, I always had to initiate contact. The flooring tile was on back order and I have just picked it up today, November 24. I elected to go with a private installer due the to Custom Floors pricing being more than I had planned on spending. Long story short, Custom Floors has pretty good pricing on granite but their flooring and backsplash tile is a little pricey. I would use them again for countertops however, I never want to have Eric Timblin as a sales person again. I work with a lady that bought granite countertops from Custom Floors also, When asking her about her experience, she relayed she had similar experiences with her sales person who was different than the one I had. Other staff at Custom Floors were very friendly.

They were very good with responding to my calls. They switched to salespeople along the way. I had to drive the service along the way. Overall, the product was fine, but the service was poor. However, they expeditiously rectified all of the problems that I had. Initially, I had problems and had to get a manager. I shouldn't have had to go that far, in my opinion. Their prices were very good, and they were willing to stay on top of the project.

I had messed up a couple of boards and a person from Custom Floors came to fix it up. They used the boards that were left over when the house was built. They did a super job in returning our phone calls and keeping us informed about everything. I was very happy with them.

Went to Custom Floors to purchase tile for a backsplash and found that they also do granite. They did a great job. I also found that they were approximately 25% less than anyone else.

It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I had visited other tile stores and interviewed contractors prior to visiting show room at Custom Floors. Within minutes I had tile picked out that I loved. Scheduling was easy. The installed were always prompt, professional and left no mess behind. They even gave suggestions how to do things more aesthetically. If we ever had questions or concerns the staff was quick to address them. I would highly recommend custom floors for price and service.

Very well. The tear out and new installation were both done on time and very professionally. The worker was clean, friendly and cleaned up well when he was finished both times. They found mold and recommended a service to remove the mold.

They are coming back to do our countertops. They gave wonderful customer service. They were very helpful when we talked to them and chose what flooring we wanted. 6 men came out to install the flooring and finished in one day which we were most impressed by. After they were finished they stained the molding around the base. We would definitely hire them again.

We have been very happy with them. They have always given us good service. We were real pleased with the product and their service and that is why we used them again.

They came when they were supposed to and completed the job on time. They knew that we had a dead line and worked well with the other sub contractors. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

Overall a very good experience. I feel we received a lot of attention for a small job. Both the sales rep and the installer were very thorough and professional and our new backsplalsh looks great.

We were so impressed with the selection and the ideas that our sales rep, Nicole had for us. She was very mindful of our budget, and had some great ideas. We originally were going to use granite for the backsplash, and we were so glad that we didn't. The granite would have looked too thick and choppy. The tile turned out beautifully.

Their store is amazing. They have lots of examples, and while we were there, we also found a tile back splash that we plan to have installed. Rodney and Nicole were very helpful. Nicole actually came to our home twice to help us pick out the perfect tile. We did obtain an estimate, that we felt was very fair. We have not had the granite and tile installed yet.

My experience with them was good because she gave good advice and they had a big selection. The price was a little bit high and I felt like we didn't get a complete picture on what her plan was.
