Terrible responsiveness and service. They cut 4 wires while excavating and then "were not responsible" for the repairs. I asked them ahead of the project if I should have to worry about the wires and they said no. Now I am out $1200 to repair this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

How did it go? Horrible! We scheduled for Thad to come out to give us an estimate on May 6th. He said he could do a concrete patio 23ft × 10ft, and it would be $3,600.00 with stamping and color on the edges. He sent us via email a bunch of pictures with stamps, he said he could do for us. We took a day or so to think it over. Thad called us on May the 9th, he said that if we wanted to sign the contract and pay the deposit of $1800, he could get it all framed up the next day. So we, (my husband and I), talked about it. We had a hot tub we needed to put on the patio asap, and Thad knew this. We decided to use Thad’s company. Huge mistake! When we signed the contract, we put half of the money down, $1800.00. As we were signing the contract, I noticed the start date was May 24th. I asked why does it say say the 24th? He said they have to put a start date, but it doesn't mean that it will take that long. He said they will most likely have it done before then. I told him we are going out of town on May 25th, and we have a dog sitter and don't want her to have to deal with walking the dogs. Thad said he understood. I asked about the stamping, but all of the stamps that we wanted he said that he didn't have and if we wanted it, it would be an extra $200.00 because he sold the stamps. My husband and I talked about it and decided we would just go with plain concrete. Thad told us that we could do plain and he could put color on the edges and round the corners. We agreed to this, and the new amount was $2800.00 for 23ft x 10ft. Then nothing happens until May 24th, Thad comes over tears up our yard. Tells my husband that he could pour on the 25th and do another 10 feet for $650. That's a total of $3450.00 for 33ft x 10ft patio with color edges and rounded corners. When Thad left May 24th, it was not totally framed up. He would have to come back over and finish it on the 25th before he poured the concrete. Thad told us on the 24th before he left, that he had ordered concrete for 1:00 PM on the 25th, and that he would let me know if something happened and he wasn’t able to pour on that date due to weather, etc. May 25th, my family and I go to Florida on vacation. Thad assured us that it would get done. He told my husband that he would take a time lapse video and send it us. Great! No worries! We told our dog walker to make sure not to let my dogs out and mess up the concrete. May the 25th: No text with the time lapse video. My husband texts Thad at 5:30 PM, asking how did it go? No reply. My dog walker, who is my friend, calls us and tells us nothing had been done. My husband texted Thad again at 8:30 PM "no concrete and the weather was perfect? " May 26th: Thad texts my husband back and said that it had rained all day and they had mechanical issues. So we get back to Fishers on May 31st, and still no concrete. Thad texts my husband and says the ground is still wet. This is no true, so my husband took pictures of the ground and texted them to Thad. The ground was so dry that it was cracking. My husband texted Thad on June 1st, and said that Thad needed to call him to discuss the concrete, because he was not happy, because we still don't have our concrete patio poured. Thad called right after that, said my husband doesn't need to be upet and they will be out on June 2nd to pour concrete first thing in the morning. June 2nd: At 11:25am my husband had to text Thad and ask if we where getting concrete. Thad texted back at 11:45 am saying yes we are getting concrete and would be a couple hours before they are there. At 3:30 pm Thad and his crew finally arrive to our property and started preping, because the framing wasn’t complete. At 4:45 the concrete truck shows up. Thad still isn't ready for the concrete. In fact, Thad did not have his rubber boots, the expansion joint, or the plastic sheeting that he had to put down under the concrete. At 5pm, Thad was ready, but he is waiting on his son to get back with the boots, expansion joint and the plastic. Thad's son gets back at around 5:45pm. Thad and his crew were cussing at each other to get stuff done, and also fussing at the concrete truck driver. One of the workers was drinking alcohol while on the job site. It was after 9:45pm afer they left. We were told not to walk on the concrete until 2 days after. June 4th: We notice there are holes the size of a quater with pitting, there is honeycombing on the sides, and the concrete is super rough, so rough that you can't walk on it barefoot. On June 4th we called Thad over and told him that we were not happy with the concrete. He said he he thought he did a good job. I looked at him and said "really? " then he said no. He suggested tearing it out and giving us or money back. We agreed. Thad said he would contact us when the ground is dry enough to get in to bust it up. June 6th my husband texted Thad to see when he is coming over to remove the concrete and refund our money. No texts. We texted, called his cell phone, called his business number, made a report on the BBB for them to contact him, sent a request via Angies list. Finally after 10 days, my husband typed up a letter stating we are concacting a lawyer and filing with small claims court. And my husband said Thad was being very childish. Finally on June 17th, Thad answered his phone after my husband called from a phone at work. He said he was busy and he would stop by on June 18th at 3pm. At 2:30pm Thad said he couldn't make it. June 20th he said he could meet us at 5pm. We found out that Thad shorted us a foot. So that means the patio is 32 × 10, not what was agreed upon. At this point we are ready to fIle papers with the court. But we have a hot tub in the back yard killing our grass and don't want the headache of the courts system. Plus if we won the case that doesn't mean we are going to get our money back anyway. The court can do a judgment on his property, then if he files bankruptcy it goes away. On June 20th Thad shows up at 6:30pm. An hour and a half late. He says he wants to make it right. He said that he can do an over lay and fill in the sides and seal it. We agreed, and updated and signed the original contract to show the new information, and new total price of $2900. 15 mins after Thad leaves, he calls and says that we can just call it even. My husband tells him he has to talk to his wife. At this point I'm grateful that we don't have to go to court. I said what ever and we agreed to it. Stupid us! So we put our hot tub on the patio and it's so uneven the hottub rocks. We tried to call Thad to discuss having it broke up and our money back. What a joke! Thad would not answer the phone. So we have settled for this sorry concrete job!

Job went very well. We were particularly pleased with the design of the replacement - some flair, not just a straight path, and with a fine looking finish.

Excellent!!! The crew was outstanding and very professional. They started the job at 8:30 a.m. and finished around 2:00 p.m. They cleaned their mess and even removed the over spray from the concrete off our brick and siding. They even laid the concrete so that it slanted away from the house which would allow the water to drain right off and not flow towards the house. The men worked until the job was done and took no breaks. We are so please with the end result. We can now enjoy our back porch. Thank you Complete Concrete of Indy for a job well done!! I will always use your services in the future if the need arise.

Complete Concrete of Indy was working for the general contractor that I had hired and I did not hire them directly. The quality of the finish work is terrable. They did the work on a day when I wasn't home do to lack of communication. The slab was to have raised curbs for the exterior walls to sit on. The curbs that the walls were to set on were not straight and were not consistant. The slab floor already has small holes a pits in it were the floor was improperlly finished. The edges of the front appron, raised curbs and the slab have honeycomb areas in them where the aggregate is showing. A result of poor workmanship. During a follow up building inspection we discovered that the foundation was not located under the outer edges of the slab and not under the exterior walls! They had backfilled and graded the dirt up against the outside edge of the slab to cover up thier misstake. The building inspector said he was at the site earlier before the concrete was poured and had told the crew that the forms needed to be trued up with the trenches and the trenches needed to be cleaned out which they obviously did not do. He was extremely upset when he saw the results. Now I am faced with trying to fix the huge mess that this company has caused. Some companies that have come out to give me estimates to fix the problem have told me it will be very difficult to fix without tearing everything out and starting over which will be very costly. I am holding my general contractor responsible for the cost of all repairs, but I don't know if he is holding Complete Concrete of Indy responsible. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone!

The name of the company should be changed to "Incomplete Concrete of Indy." We hired Thad to stain the concrete in our room addition. He completed the first two steps and said he would be back after the room addition was completed to seal the concrete. Unfortunately for us, we paid him in full because he worked with our contractor that we had hired to do the room addition. When the building was complete, we called him in the beginning of June to seal the floors prior to our vacation. He told us he would be there by Thursday or Friday. . He never showed up. We went on vacation and started calling again around 6/19. Most days, his phone rang, and we could not leave a message because his box was full. This happened many days. When we would reach him or he would call us back, he would confirm a time and never show up. This happened five times, and we would stay home waiting for him. We could not move into our room addition until this was done, so we had to finish them ourselves. We had waited weeks for him to do it, and we could not trust that he would ever show up. He never refunded any of our money. BEWARE!
Description of Work: Thad had poured our foundation through our builder -no problems there. It was when we hired him outside of our builder's contract to stain 800 square feet of concrete.

Thad responded quickly to my phone call for an estimate. The price quoted was the lowest of my 3 quotes, so I signed and paid my deposit. From that point on, communication dwindled to next to nothing and it took 3 months for the job to be complete. Project 1 About a month had passed with nothing happening. I asked when the floor would be cut, so a new wall could be built and a small section of the house torn off. This took many phone calls and I waited several weeks before it actually happened. It took less than 30 min to make the cut. Anything from other jobs, to deer hunting was apparently more important than doing my job. Project 2 While building the block wall in the basement they got mortar in the basement drain. When the slab was removed from the outside portion of this area, it was not filled in completely and while raining, water ran down the wall, seeping through, flooding my basement, since the drain now no longer worked. I called Thad and left a message that I had water in my basement and the drain was obviously full of mortar, but didnt get a call back from Thad for a week. I called a plumber and had the drain fixed. Project 3 Crawlspace for new addition. I had been very clear that the new addition had to line up perfectly with the existing walls, as it was an extension of the kitchen and I wanted the walls to be smooth from the old to new part of the house. I told Thad we would cut into the wall on the outside and line up the new foundation when it happens. I get a call one day from Thad that the foundation is done. I had no idea they were coming, and I asked, "how did you know where to put the walls without cutting through the siding to make sure it is correct?". I get home and the foundation was close, but one wall is off by roughly 6". I call and tell Thad I am not happy with this, that it is off but I just get the "it's ok, they can work with it" response. Simply acknowledging that it was wrong would have sufficed, but that never happened. A couple weeks later he showed up again randomly and backfilled around the foundation, then after leaving, called and asked to be paid. I pointed out the piles of debris, trash, etc all over my yard and driveway, the hole, still not filled in from the slab being removed and again that I was not happy with the foundation. He said he would come back to my house right then and we could talk. The builder showed up and discussed several options to deal with the foundation, but I am going to just live with a wall that bumps over on one side of the addition. Thad never showed up, so I wasted about 3 hours waiting on him. He came back the next day and filled in the hole, cleaned up most things, then called me and asked about being paid. I had to go home from work, again and I again brought up the foundation being off and asked what he thought about that. He said there was nothing wrong with it and didnt understand why I wasnt happy. I said I wanted to wait to pay until the foundation was signed off by the inspector just to cover any unseen issues since I am not a concrete expert and he got obviously mad, and started walking away. I asked why he was mad and he said that waiting on the inspection was not part of our 'agreement'. I would assume it is standard for anyone who is using a permit, and covers you if anything is actually wrong. The inspection happened, it passed and the next day I paid, minus the plumber bill. I will never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Several projects. Excavate and build a 12' x 16' crawlspace for a new addition, pour a 3' x 6' pad at side of house, wall up a 4' wide x 8' tall area in basement, cut and remove an existing slab, fill in abandoned basement area.

My experience started off well. Thad responded quickly to my request for a quote and I submitted my 1/2 of the payment deposit to be scheduled on the books. The day arrived when they were suppose to come out to start work. I took off of work to be there in case any problems arose but they never showed up. I called Thad in the early afternoon to find out what was going on and he informed me that they were behind on their schedule and were out at a different location. A couple of weeks went by due to weather delays, scheduling conflicts, and communication lapses but they finally came out over a month after I mailed them my down payment. The patio was poured but within 3 weeks it already had begun to crack. They also splattered concrete on the windows which was not cleaned up and they pretty much destroyed the yard where they drove the bobcat. They made no effort to put down any boards to protect it or to clean up any concrete splatter or damage caused to the yard. There was also no clean up done in the area around the patio where they left the dirt that they had dug up. Overall Thad was a nice guy and friendly but frustrating to deal with when he would stop communicating. The price was a good deal, but they do seem to try and cut some corners.
Description of Work: I had a 2'x4' concrete slab removed and a patio poured in it place.

They did a great job. They were very prompt and pleasant to have around. They were very hard workers, and their prices were quite reasonable. They covered our edging very carefully with plastic, and they were very neat and clean. They did not park on our driveway, and instead carried everything up themselves. I was very concerned about the mess, but they did a wonderful job. The sidewalk looks beautiful, and we were very happy with them.
Description of Work: They poured a sidewalk for us, which also involved removing an old concrete sidewalk and an old wooden sidewalk which was built on top of that one. The removal of the two existing sidewalks required a great deal of effort. The sidewalk was around 4 feet wide and around 30 feet long, and they also laid gravel under the concrete.
