I called Comcast several times for help to reconnect to our cable. None of the people I talked to could help and would not help us get an appointment to have someone come out and look at it. They all read from the same script and there was a big language/communication problem. They said they would have someone call us to try to help, but we never received a call. VERY POOR SERVICE AND LIED ABOUT HAVING SOMEONE CALL US.

We have had them for several years. Installation was fine. Recently, we've had time were picture is frozen. First time that happens, they always tell me to unplug it and put it back in. Found out that it was the feed that was too weak, they were able to fix it. Within a week, same thing happened again. We rebooted and it work for days. Generally speaking, it's not doing good for us. I would not recommend this company

We have had the WORST experience with Comcast and we haven't even had our service setup yet! The representative was to have scheduled our service install for July 2nd and no one ever showed. So we log onto our account to find that it had been switched to July 8th without our request or approval to do so. We work from home and really needed the Internet to be setup by the 4th. We called Comcast and the representative said she saw how it showed we had it setup for the 2nd but that she didn't know who or why it was switched. We spent countless HOURS being transferred back and forth between customer representatives and had spoke with TWO supervisors. They didn't try to make it right or send anyone out so we've been at a disadvantage this entire week. Completely unacceptable. This experience alone, is reason enough to walk away. I would suggest going with AT&T U-Verse!! No customer wants to deal with the hassles and ignorance that we have throughout paying for a service for something that isn't cheap to begin with. Utterly disappointed and we will be posting reviews about this all over the place since people should know what they're getting themselves into before entering into a contract with an incompetent & problematic company.
Description of Work: The provider did not show up on the day that the service was scheduled to be installed and then re-scheduled our service date for a week later; causing us major issues with trying to work from home for the week.

I am still using them, but I am planning to switch. We have had a lot of problems with their service. At one point something went out and they were not going to be able to deliver it to us for two or three weeks so we drove and picked it up ourselves to install it. It worked two weeks. We called them and that time they did come out, but they charged me a service call. We are unhappy with them, to put it mildly.

The install went very well without any major hitches. The install time was about 5 hours. The tech installed 5 connections for HDTV service and 1 connection for internet. I had 1 incident approximately 2 weeks later. When I called for service, the phone technician was able to assist me over the phone, taking about 1 hour, to get 1 of the HDTV hook-ups working correctly. Other than that incident, I have not had any further problems.
