CIRCLE CITY CARPET CARE

It took them a while to show up. They then did not have the proper length hose to reach the sump pump to suck out the water in the shortest amount of time. They were attempting to suck the water out essentially by hand while holding the hose that was connected to a generator. The contractor from Summers Plumbing/Heating informed me that this would take multiple hours and was completely unnecessary. I politely asked them to pack it in and was charged a $100 service call fee. They packed up and left immediately leaving the window open to the basement in the process. The Summers contractor told me that the Circle City Rep. basically threatened him on the way out for informing me of what basically seemed like a scam. I can't verify that as I was not privey to that conversation. Needless to say it did not go well and I was left with the feeling that they were attempting to take advantage of me while in a difficult situation.

The driver of a Circle City Carpet Care van gave me the finger one morning on my way to work. He was road-raging, because he wanted me to turn but there were cars coming in the far lane. Apparently he wanted to travel in the near lane, which is not where I needed to be. I called the company to report it and was somewhat surprised by the person's flippant demeanor on the phone.

DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING. THEY MIXED UP MY PHONE NUMBER WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S, SO THEY WERE 5 HOURS LATE GETTING HERE. IT WAS 5:00 PM BEFORE THEY ARRIVED, AND THE GUY WAS TIRED AND OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T WANT TO DO THE WORK. HE TRIED TO GET ME TO AGREE TO DO IT THE NEXT DAY, WASN'T ENOUGH TIME, ETC. FINALLY I TOLD HIM I HAD TO HAVE THE CARPETS CLEANED THAT NIGHT. OVERALL I WAS SATISFIED - SNAFUS WILL ALWAYS HAPPEN AND OWNER TOOK FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PROBLEM.
