He was replacing my hot water heater and I left it up to him to get a new hot water heater that fell within the boundaries of the Home Energy Tax Rebate from the electric company. I assumed that he was getting the energy efficient model and when I went to file the rebate with the gas company they said the Bradford Energy Saver model he used did not qualify for the Home Energy Tax Rebate. Then when I inquired about this situation to him he stated that he thought he had done so but when I told him it did not qualify he would not sign a paper stating this was the case. I assumed he would purchase the correct model because he said he had a special place he could get them from so when I found out that it didn't qualify I was both surprised and upset.

Excellent service. They already had contacted the water heater company for me as they knew this was a warranty issue. They had everything ready for me and the water heater was fixed perfectly.

He was very good and we would rate him an A on everything. He was very personable, explained things, very punctual and he was just excellent. We spent maybe $300 or $400 on that work. He got a back-up sump pump and some other things and set it up for us. They were very good and we would recommend them to others. He was not pushy and he explained options to us and we would definitely use him again.

We have worked with Mike Bush and his crew several times in the past. He has replaced a kitchen sink, added a faucet, installed a water softener, and repaired a water heater for us. This time we received an inspection report from the home we were selling and the inspector thought one of the exterior hose bibs on the house didn't shut off well enough (it did shut off, but it needed a particular touch). Anyway, we called Mike, explained in detail to him what needed to be done, where the hosebib was at, and how the pipe feeding the hosebib can be accessed from under the kitchen sink. Since the house was vacant we gave Mike the code to the garage door since it is hard for us to take time off of work to meet people there. He told us when he would be there and one of his crew called me upon completion of the job. I went out after work, examined the work and mailed Mike a check the next day. He is very efficient, always has good people working with him, and is very honest and trustworthy. We will continue to use Mike Bush plumbing in the future.

I don't remember how much he charged me for the services, but I know he is very reasonable. He is awesome and he does not overcharge. He has come to our house a couple of times and been able to fix things quickly and didn't even charge me. I will never use anybody except Mike Bush for plumbing. He is a local guy and just has a couple of subs that he works with and a couple of other guys that work for him. He is completely dependable and completely trustworthy. I would recommend him to anybody. I need to call him to look at a water softener. I just haven't called him yet, but he is the guy I am going to call.

Everything went perfectly! They showed up on time, explained everything they were going to do, answered all of my questions, did more than I asked for but didn't charge me for unclogging my drain, and cleaned up after themselves. The final bill was within their quoted price for the work. They tested everything several times to make sure everything was working well. I really appreciated their professionalism.

These guys are amazing! Mike and Kevin are the consummate professionals, treating me like a customer, not a transaction. My 6-year old water-heater recently broke, and after getting 3 competitive quotes (ranging from $825 - $1300) I decided to try and save some money and DIY... big mistake. After repeated attempts to correctly marry the dielectric unions, my water-heater still leaked. I called Mike Bush Plumbing on Saturday (2 pm), and though they don't normally have a tech on call during the weekend, they sent one anyway (Kevin). In an efficient but precise manner Kevin had my water-heater hooked-up, inspected the gas connection (which was loose!), and even repaired/secured the exhaust mechanism properly. Additionally, they were sensitive to my budget. I would highly recommend them for ANY plumbing job, regardless of scope. You will not be disappointed.

I was very pleased with him. They came out when they said they would. The gentleman was very nice that put the faucet in. He also does work for my church. I thought the price was very reasonable. They worked around my schedule, which was nice.

There was a water spot on my kitchen ceiling. There is a bathroom directly above. I called Mike to investigate and repair. He was very prompt in returning my call and discussing the situation with me. Since the shower in that bathroom hadn't been used much until recently, I thought that was the culprit. Mike said they would check it out. The same bathroom had a slow running toilet, and Mike said there was probably something stuck up in the trap. They would take care of that too. On the Monday we had scheduled, the two workmen arrived promptly at the agreed-upon time. They were very courteous and began their work in the upstairs bathroom. While one of them cleaned out the slow toilet, the other began checking all the seals, drains, valves, connections, etc of all the other fixtures in the bathroom, checking for leak sources. As part of this, they discovered that the hot valve stem on the bathtub was shot and replaced it. There were no obvious leak sources in the various fixtures, so they came down to the kitchen and began working up. They removed the section of ceiling where the water spot was and looked up inside. The only source of water appeared to be a slow drip from a PVC connection. They thought it was probably improperly sealed during construction. When they prepared to replace it, they discovered it had never actually been sealed in the first place. They fixed it and were all done. Later that evening, Mike called me to follow up. That is the best customer service experience I have ever had with a plumber.

Overall, Mike Bush Plumbing did a great job. They arrived on time to provide a pre-job evaluation and bid, were courteous and professional throughout, and did a very nice job cleaning up afterwards. The job was completed on time, per their per-job estimate. They were expert in making suggestions to do things the best way, including the repair of a broken drain line for my Furnace Humidifier that I was unaware of. I am reassured in their good will, expertise, and attention to detail that their work will be in good shape for years to come. I'll be glad to contact them for any future plumbing needs.

Three days before Christmas, at 5:00 pm, with a house FULL of company, and my wife preparing a big meal in the kitchen, the kitchen sink became completely stopped up. I tried to clear it on my own with the garbage disposal and a heavy plunger, etc. After checking Angie's List, I called several local plumbers that were nearby and just got answering machines or people who said they couldn't come for 1-2 days. Mike's office was 5 miles away in Fishers, and he picked up the phone. He said there had been 8-9 calls to his office with the same problem that day (kitchen sink stopped with company in the house). He said that 70-80% of the time, it can be cleared by removing the J-trap under the sink, and that anyone can do that in most cases without tools. He explained what to do. Then he said if it wasn't in the J-trap, it could be in the T-joint just above it, which was also easy to remove and clear. Sure enough, now having the confidence of his instructions, I easily removed the pieces, found them clogged with bits of potato peals, and put it back together again, all in about 10 minutes at most. I called him back to thank him. He picked up again, and then advised me how to test the joints to make sure they didn't leak, and to let a large amount of water flow through all at once to flush matter on through the system that may have already gone by the J-trap. He said that a call to a big national chain who do these kinds of calls at all hours could probably have cost $150-200, plus the wait, etc. Mike was extremely busy on a job, he is working 15-hours a day this week, but he took time to be very sympathetic to me and explained patiently and respectfully how to fix it myself. Next time I have a problem, he will be the first one I call. By the way, I am not an experienced "fix-it" person (obviously), and my wife was skeptical when I began taking things apart. But she was very grateful and even gave me a kiss when it was so quickly fixed! Thanks, Mike!

Mike Bush Plumbing got us on the schedule quickly and sent a team of very professional workers. I had failed to mention that one of the faucets was for a pedestal sink, which presented some problems and took extra time. They did a beautiful job and everything works great. The price was a bit higher because of the extra work on the pedestal sink.

I liked him. He put in a toilet. He gave us good advice on what kind to buy. He understood our problems. I called him again and he was very responsive. However, the problem disappeared. He was very timely in calling and thoughtful. He was prompt. I would use him again.

Very well. I chose a faucett at Economy Plumbing and asked them to pick it up and install it. They arrived a little late, very apologetic, were very friendly and professional. Cleaned up completely. Love the new faucett and the good customer service. Mike Bush made several phone calls, before, during and after, to make sure I was pleased with the work. As part of the apology for being about 20 minutes late he gave me a discount of $40 off the total price. I will definitely call this company for future. plumbing needs.

Very well. They were very responsive. They had to move a pile of wood in the garage to access a wall where they thought the split pipe would be. They put the wood back afterwards. They completed several repairs while at the house. They followed up with a couple suggestions for how to better insulate the area where the pipe had frozen. Overall, I was extremely happy with the experience and thought the cost was reasonable.

They came quickly and were on time. They did a great job. They even called me afterwards to make sure that the leak was totally fixed and that everything was okay. I was impressed by that. I would use them again.
