They sanded the floors down to bare wood then applied a custom stain. They applied three coats of polyurethane. They painted and reapplied the show mold when they were finished.

They were able to restore it to its natural color and it looks great.

They did a great job, were very courteous and cleaned up. The finished job was great, matching new hardwood to our existing 10 year old hardwoods. We will use them again if we change any other rooms.

Jeff called me back quickly and was very upfront in telling me that working with me would be tough given the time crunch in which we needed the work completed. I SO appreciated his honesty! He is very thorough, very professional, and what impressed me even more, he called back about a week later to say that if we hadn't already hired another contractor, he thought he could get started sooner than the two weeks he had originally told me. If we had still been in the market, that phone call would have gotten him the business, and I'd definitely try him again.

Floors were looking pretty shabby. Called company first of June and they were out within the week to take a look. Received an estimate by email and regular mail. Work was done in mid-July. They came in on a Monday and were finished by Wednesday. Floors were ready to walk on by Thursday. They were always on time and finished the work during the scheduled time. The floors look brand-new!! Company was easy to work with. I called several times before they began the job and they were always very courteous and ready to answer my questions.

I think they did a fabulous job. We needed it done in a hurry and they were able to do the job even though the company had planned to be off for a whole week. We are using them again in a couple of months.

It was great because they have a specific non-dust policy. They sealed off every room to protect from dust. They worked around my kitchen company, so they were really accommodating on timing.

Jeff came out to do the estimate and was on time for the appointment. Followed up on the estimate and answered my questions. The work was scheduled to my time table. The 2 man crew showed up on time, were neat and clean and friendly. The floors look great. I did get 2 other estimates which were less expensive. I went with Griffith's for 2 reasons: they were willing to move my furniture and they took off the shoe mold and replaced it with newly stained or painted shoe mold. I was very comfortable leaving them in my home.

THEY DID A VERY NICE JOB. THEY DID LEAVE SOME BUBBLES AND SWIRLS ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR BUT THEY CAME BACK PROMPTLY AND REPAIRED IT. THEIR STAFF WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. JEFF CAME OUT AND TALKED US THROUGH ANY ISSUES AND WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT.

They were on time to do the work. The quality of their work was good. I would use them in the future. They were professional while they were working. They were personable.

Spent about 4 hours the first day replacing boards, sanding and putting a coat of polyurethane on the floors. Second day spent about a half hour putting a second coat of polyurethane. Day 3, sanded and put a final coat of polyurethane on floors. They left me stain to match and polyurethane for base boards, so we could do it ourselves. They told me it would be dustless, and it was! They matched the oak flooring perfectly. You can not tell it had 3 boards replaced.

I highly recommend them, they were very professional, provided the best quote and did great work.

He came out and worked with us to help select the flooring. The way they put the floor in was excellent. They cleaned up very well. They did a beautiful job! I would recommend them.

We gathered 3 estimates prior to selecting Griffith. Their pricing was right on target with other quotes. We went with them due to their outstanding reputation, and we are glad that we did. They did not disappoint us.

They were willing to work with me on color so we didn't have to bleach the wood. They were just fantastic to work with. There was not one speck of dust. I wanted 3 coats of polyurethane and they suggested not because it might get scratched and would be difficult to repair. They are just fantastic people.

They had to fix a job that another company had done incorrectly. They did a good job.

They were punctual in looking at the floor, making the estimate, and doing the work. They did it on time and stayed in the schedule they set up. The workmanship was great and they cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them.

We arranged for Griffith to come to our home while we were on vacation. Our housekeeper was to meet them at our house before she went to her other jobs. They were to meet at 7:30 but the workers showed up closer to 10am each day making her late for work. I was told they would work until 4:30 and that the job would be completed by Friday (it was a Monday thru Friday job). I found out from neighbors that they regularly left between 1 and 2 pm. We returned home on Saturday night at 8pm and had to live in our basement because the floors were still not finished. When we were finally able to walk on them, I found globs of polyurethane, sanding "swirls" large cracks in the floor and areas where the floor was two or three different shades of stain. Griffith came out and repaired our dining room (where it looked the worst) but now the floor where they worked is buckling. I have NEVER seen a worse job in my 20 years of homeownership.

I first went to the company and talked with Denny Griffith, about installing hardwood flooring to match my existing hardwood floor in entryway. He told me that Armstrong no longer made the floor that I had, but he might have flooring that would be very close. He searched through his samples for at least 15 minutes and found something that he thought would work and gave me several samples to take home for evaluation. The samples looked good in my home and I called Denney to have him measure my home for the job and subsequently contracted with him to have the work done. The installers, Ed and Brian, showed up on the day promised and within 3 minutes of promised time. They did a great job, even had to make a custom piece of flooring on-site for a threshold to the bathroom. The floor looks great and they were very neat and careful. I would certainly recommend them and would definitely use them again, if the need arises.

Ultimately, Griffith completed the job to our satisfaction, but only after several mistakes and quality issues. First, the wrong color was applied to the new finish and it had to be sanded down the second time to remove it. Second, the sheen was not that which was desired and the top finish material did not flow properly to provide complete coverage. Third, the living room carpet was stained at the edge. Although there were problems with the work of which Jeff Griffith came and reviewed, all of the problems have been corrected to our satisfaction. The final version is of good quality.
