Jay was accommodative, coming out once to help set up a stub up for the line when the concrete contractors were getting ready to pour. He returned at the scheduled time and completed the job at the agreed-upon price.

The last time they came to my house they installed some lights for me for a great price. The men that come are great workers and friendly, they do a good job.

Just fine. I have to get the light and he will install it. He is very good electrician and I really trust him. He came right out.

He was easy to get hold and came fairly quickly. He did the work properly. When he was here the last time working on the breaker box issue, he noticed a plumbing issue that we were having in the basement. He pointed that out to us and helped us to get that resolved as well with a plumbing company. We appreciated that as well.

Avon Electric was selected for service by my home warranty company to address a sizzling circuit breaker. Scheduling a specific time was a bit difficult, but once we got things rolling, there were no issues. Everything went smoothly, he was on-time and professional.

He has done some very good work for us. He was here this morning to run a whole new line to the basement and during this process we discovered that we did not have much current flowing down to the basement. He has given us an estimate and will start work on Monday and put in the new line. We have used him before and have always found him to be honest and he does good work. We have used him several times for 20 years since we built our house.

SMALL COMPANY. SERVICEMAN HAS DONE OTHER PROJECTS IN THE PAST. I RECOMMEND HIM.

I DEALT WITH JAY DIRECTLY AND HE WAS VERY TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL. HE TOOK GREAT CARE IN MAKING SURE THE WIRING (WHIP) TO THE HOT TUB WAS AS HIDDEN AS POSSIBLE, AND HE DID NOT DRILL ANY UNNECESSARY HOLES IN OUR DECK UNTIL HE WAS SURE OF THE PLACEMENT OF THE HOT TUB. THE WHOLE PROCESS WENT VERY SMOOTHLY. HE CLEANED UP ANY MESS THAT WAS MADE, WHICH WAS MINIMAL TO BEGIN WITH. I WOULD GLADLY USE HIM AGAIN FOR MY ELECTRICAL NEEDS.

I CALLED AND JAY TOLD ME HE WOULD BE OUT THAT DAY BETWEEN 1-3. THIS WAS FINE AS I HAD AN APPT. LATER, AT 4:30. HE SHOWED UP AT ABOUT 4:00 AND I HAD TO CANCEL MY DOCTOR APPT. HE COULD NOT DO THE WORK THEN, BUT SAID HE WOULD BE BACK ON MONDAY, THIS WAS ON FRIDAY. I TOOK OFF WORK ON MONDAY AND WAITED AND WAITED. I CALLED HIM SEVERAL TIMES AND HE NEVER CALLED BACK. HE FINALLY CALLED ME BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK WITH SOME LAME EXCUSE. WHAT IT AMOUNTS TO, IN MY OPINION, IS THAT HE DIDN'T WANT TO DO THE JOB. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN HONEST UP FRONT AND TOLD ME. INSTEAD I MISSED A DAYS WORK. HIS PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN WHAT I PAID WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS EXCESSIVE THEY WERE THERE FOR 15 MINUTES.

THE ONLY ELECTRICAL SERVICE WHO RETURNED MY CALLS PROMPTLY AND CAME TO PITTSBORO WITHOUT AN OVERPRICED SURCHARGE. CAME WITHIN 3 HOURS OF MY CALL EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT AN EMERGENCY. FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT TECHNICIAN.
