Troy Bain did a great job completing our bathrooms and living room remodeling projects. His work was both excellent and of high quality. Our old hardwood floors now look new and beautiful! He was also very adaptive and receptive to any of our requests throughout the project. I would highly recommend Troy for any of your remodeling projects.

Arrogance + Incompetence = All Things Done (Half *ssed) Inc. My wife called this clown because I had cut my thumb on a table saw, we were behind on time, and had to move into our new house that was being renovated. All 3 vents were not cut out correctly so the metal grates don't fit, neither of the doorways were done correctly, and over 50% of the end joints are not seated correctly and will chip (not to mention that as soon as any Lowes representative sees the crappy install it will void the warranty). On top of this, after he had already started, he told my wife that it would cost $1500 to do less than 350 sq feet($4.28 a sq ft) and it only took him 7 hours (roughly $225) an hour. When she asked you about it sounding a bit high he said that Lowes would have charged her a lot more. I called Lowes in Richmond and they charge $1.99 a sq foot. My wife thought that because he was her uncle's friend/neighbor and had always done work for her grandparents that he would not do her wrong. I tried to show him how to do it correctly and some pointers when he first got there and he told me that "I like my way better....so that's what you were going to do." (Funny, because all the flooring I did was done correctly.) Today he stopped by the house to supposedly fix the flooring and told me that he was going to fix the doorways, but that everything else looked "good to him" and that he wasn't going to pull the floor and fix it correctly. I then told him that "I guess I will be taking him to court over this. He said "move your car so I can leave." I said "naaaa,"so he thtestened to call the cops.called 911, 3 cops showed up, and a police report was written....I promise you it will be a real **** show dealing with this guy....

Very disappointed that things didn't go well with this company at all, because I'd really looked forward to working with them and accomplishing several projects around my home. I gave 1/2 the money up front. First, they worked a few days then left to do another job. Finally came back and built a deck & pulled up carpeting, then left again. I asked for an 8x8 deck & he built a 10x10 because 'he knew I wouldn't be happy with it'. Showed up again in a few days & nailed down some shingles, and I asked if he'd found the leak in the roof. He replied that 'it wasn't easy to locate roof leaks'. We'd discussed ahead of time putting trim around the windows but he didn't do it the way we discussed; unfortunately the way he did it wasn't going to work since I was having the house painted different colors. Asked him to remove the trim & he never came back again after that. He's very defensive when questioned & will no doubt write a defensive response to this review, so you might want to take that with a grain of salt. My advice is if you hire this company, know exactly what you want them to do and monitor their work closely so that if they do something different than what you'd discussed you can get things back on track. Also ask for receipts and labor costs for each project as it's completed. Wish I had done that, because I'm not at all convinced that I got my money's worth.

Work went smooth, took two days due to drying. One repair required more work than anticipated due to matt not being able to view it during the assessment for the quote. Both repairs look excellent and would definitely recommend.

Very glad I hired Troy. As folks who own old homes know, nothing is ever simple when remodeling. This upstairs bathroom remodel was a case in point. Troy handled all the challenges (e.g., uneven floors and walls, bad wiring, climbing stairs) very well. No matter the issue, he proved himself to be a good problem-solving and was very professional in his work. I'm very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to hire him again!

Our home is over 100 yrs old and never had a pantry closet. Troy did a wonderful job and improvised with the challenges he faced due to the fact that nothing is even in our home. Despite the challenges he faced, he was able to give us exactly what we wanted. He is also prompt. There arent that many good laborers in Muncie. I hope he stays around for another 10 years. This town needs him and we plan on using him again.

when repairing the ceiling he found mold in the damp insulation and changed to a much more detailed job which was more involved. he took his time and repaired it right and now we have a beautiful kitchen ceiling

He worked hard until he found where the clog was. He had to replace some pipes and had it done in no time. His charge was very responsible. I was so pleased with his work that I sent him to my in laws. They were very pleased with his work as well.

Troy tackled a very difficult job of replacing a membrane roof over a uniquely constructed home and did an excellent job. He responded immediately when extra attention was needed and has kept in constant touch to insure that no problems have arisen.

Troy has been prompt and neat and we have had no issues. We appreciate his work ethic and "can do" attitude.

TROY WAS TO COMPLETLY REDO OUR BATHROOM. WE ASKED HIM TO GUT IT. PUT IN A NW SHOWER, VANITY, HANDICAP STOOL AND PUT DOWN FLOATING VINAL FLOOR. HE DID NOT TAKE IT TO THE STUDS. HE BUILD OVER THE EXISTING WALLS TAKING AWAY 4 INCHES ALL AROUND THE ROOM HE PUT THE SHOWER WHERE HE WANTED IT NOT WHERE I WANTED IT. HE HAD TO PUT IN A LARGR BATHROOM DOOR TO FIT THE SHOWER SURROUND IN AND DID A HORRABLE JOB DRYWALLING ABOVE THE NEW DOOR. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BLOW INSULATION INTO OUR HOUSE AND WHEN WE SEEN MY HUSBAND SEEN THE BATHROOM HE GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT WITH TROY BAIN AND HE NEVER CAME BACK. UNFORTUNATLY WE BOTH LIVE IN THE SAME TOWN AND I THOUGHT HE WAS TRUST WORTHY SO I HAD PAID HIM UP FRONT. HAD TO SUE HIM TO GET OUR MONEY BACK. IT CAME OUT OR HIS INSURANCE. WE WON THE CASE. THEN WE FOUND OUT HE HAD WENT UP TO OUR LOCAL HARDWARE STORE WHERE WE HAD A CHARGE ACCOUNT AND CHARGED MISC. ITEMS TO OUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE.

Things went very well. This was at my elderly mother's home and I was impressed by Troy's responsiveness to my inquiries and the speed with which he and his assistant worked. This wasn't a huge job and I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to find someone willing to take it, or that we'd have to wait in line behind larger jobs. But Troy fit us in his schedule and the repairs and new floor look great! I would definitely hire All Things Done again.

It went very well. Contractor was responsive, friendly and did only the work that needed to be done. For instance, contractor was asked to replace the existing hot water heater. After evaluation, the contractor contacted us and indicated that only a new heating element was required...outstanding service!

The job is always well done at a fair price. Troy is always responsive, cordial, punctual, and gets the job done in a timely manner.

I paid for 4 hours and he only worked for 3 hours. He had to go get mud because mine was bad. He did a good job. He wanted to come out during the week but I work the same time. He had to come out on the weekend.

Great. The kitchen faucet works great and the water and ice now work on the refrigerator.

They did an amazing job and I will call on them again if their services are needed.

Everything as great! The house was built in 1860, so none of the walls were square. He was able to make everything look like new. He kept things cleaned as he went. He came and worked when he said he would. He finished when he said he would. I will be giving his name to all who ask.

It went great. Troy was there on time, looked at EVERYTHING, took photos of all the problem areas, and helped me understand what it would take to bring the house up to code, fix a pretty significant slope on a second floor, and get the roof in order. Knowing what I was getting myself into (and/or what I needed to walk away from based on my tolerance for amount of work needed) made me MUCH more confident to decide which fixer-upper I wanted to buy.
