HighJessie was extremely professional and along with Dennis poured and stamped a 24 x 17.5 concrete patio. Jessie also made sure that the roof downspout was buried under the pad and continued out into the yard to avoid the runoff on the patio. This was a great experience and the pre-work was done while we were out of town to the exact specifications that we discussed and agreed upon. The finished product is fantastic and is exactly what we envisioned when we first talked with Jessie about doing the work. High quality work, easy to work with and very straight forward. In May of 2009, after taking a number of quotes and doing some reference checking, we hired Mr. King to install a small driveway. The total final cost due to an underestimate of the work required (which was not his fault) ended up being $7,000. Twice what was originally quoted. Since the project had already been started we had little choice but to complete the work. My wife and I are retired and living on Social Security and this took a large portion of our savings. We wanted the driveway replaced as we had just purchased the home and it and the yard was in extremely good shape except for the driveway. It had degraded to the point that it was a major safety concern. Mr. King replaced the driveway but within 4 months there seemed to be some degrading of the surface. I contacted Mr. King and agreed to wait through the winter to see if it would continue to degrade or if this was a minor unique condition in one or two spots. By mind winter it had degraded further. It was thus obvious that there was a real problem. I continued to keep in touch with Mr. King as he wanted to work on the situation in the spring or summer. To make a long, long story short, I continued to contact Mr. King as the driveway continued to deteriorate. By the beginning of Spring 2011 the driveway surface was in very bad shape. During this time I had a heart attack and triple by-pass surgery and a very long recovery period but I still continued to work with Mr. King. We all finally had a meeting at the driveway face to face with the concrete supplier and it was decided that the driveway would be completely re-done. Though there were multiple people there familiar with concrete work, neither side could come to a conclusion as to what the problem actually was that was causing the problem. And though it seemed that both sides were suspicious who might be at fault, we all agreed that the driveway would be replaced at no cost and the concrete supplier would supply the concrete at no cost. The meeting was in May and the work was to be done around the end of June. It is now the middle of August and though I have been patient for over 2 years trying to resolve the issue it now seems that Mr. King is no longer willing to do anything. I recently contacted his cell phone and left a recorded message 3 weeks in a row for 3 Monday?s and have waited another two weeks more and still not contact. His website boast a before and after picture of my driveway that he is using to support his business. Anyone wishing to see the present condition of my driveway now is welcome to come and look or they can request pictures. I am now forced to contact an attorney to try and recover the $7,000 dollars. Anyone considering doing business with Mr. King should be very carful as they could end up with very bad results and be out a lot of money.

AS OF MARCH 2013 there still has been no contact concerning our driveway that continues to deteriorate significantly. It is possible he will continue to do to others what he has done to us.

Mr. King replaced an old concrete driveway for me in 2010. Within two months it had a large and seperated crack from edge to edge (~20') and stained badly. I later learned he had not followed industry standards for control joint spacing, had not sealed the drive, was not licensed, and had not obtained permits, despite representing all of these things. Mr. King has not stood behind his work and I have had to sue in small claims, where I won a judgment-only to have him appeal to Marion Cty Superior, where I am now pursuing my case-again. Oh, and his Better Business rating is F, which I wish I had known prior to contracting with him. Beware! My recommendation is to avoid.

I was very pleased with them. What I liked about them is we had a lot of delays in the work being done just because of bad weather and rain, and typically with a few of these contractors, we don’t just hear anything from them and they kind of show up one day, but they did a follow up with me to let me know what the status was and where he was and when he would be there and that was helpful. I would use them again if needed.

Jesse's company was the concrete contractor used by the company building our new garage. Their cement work was excellent, and he was always very accessible and willing to explain what his crew was doing. In the process, he suggested we use edging stones they were originally going to fill over and build a flower bed in front of the new garage. They did a great job and the new beds flow right with the old gardens. His crew filled all of the dirt back in and cleaned us as well.

After building a new house we were ready to work on the backyard. We considered having a deck installed but decided against it because of the continual maintenance on wood decks. Additionally, being we didn?t want anything (such as rails) that would obstruct the view from the back of the house. So instead of a deck we decided to go with a stamped concrete patio. Jesse was great and came out to the house a couple of times before we ever commited to hiring him. This was the best decision ever ? we love it! It is like another room of the house. What is great about it is that we were able to design the patio ourselves, the shape, color and texture/stamp. From start to finish it probably took about 2 days. We did have to have the contractor come back out to apply a couple additional layers of sealer b/c we originally requested a low-shine sealer. As it turns out the hi-shine sealer really brings out the color and definition of the texture much better. Now we have a great outdoor space that will last for years and we don?t have to do any maintenance on it what so ever!
