Description of Work: My central air was not working and he came by without my husband around, in front of me hooked something up to it so show something wasn't working. Seemed reliable at 1st so I went inside to check on kids. Next he's telling me he's only seen a few like mine and he's going to have to but a sticker on it for fear of it "exploding". Estimated new central air 3000-4000 installed and when I started looking at just the equipment wasn't as nice. Let's just say the 2nd opinion cost $75 without replacing my central air and my air is cool a year later. Very shady with my 1st impression to get a buck from a woman, beware.

Description of Work: Derrick Hutchinson, owner, did a free A/C cleaning, evaluation, and installation of a new filter as part of a free follow-up to the installation of a new A/C system which he put in about one year ago. We provided the filter but because it is very difficult to install filters in the unit (not a part of the system he installed), Derrick put the filter in for me.

Description of Work: Derrick replaced our safety switch on our Trane furnace.

Description of Work: I had a new A/C unit installed and services. DNA did an OUTSTANDING JOB and I would use them again if needed.

Description of Work: They repaired our ac unit after it stopped working. We were having installation work done for another project and all of the breakers were flipped.

Description of Work: Derrick, the owner, called immediately to set up a visit after the Home Warranty Company contacted him because my 22 y/o A/C unit stopped working. He determined that I needed a new A/C unit which was 8 SEER and would have to be replaced with a 13 Seer unit (required by regulation). The insurance company would only pay for the outside component and expected DNA to do a "work around" to connect a 13 SEER unit with an inside component made for 8 SEER (which works with different coolant) and that would be h the function of the A/C. Derrick felt that would not be something he should do and I appreciated that he would not do something so wrong, regardless of what the insurance company expected. We paid for his part of the work to connect 13 SEER inside & outside components. We will not renew with the Home Warranty company but would use DNA again.

Description of Work: I purchased a new heat pump from DNA Heating and Cooling. DNA installed my new unit and took away the old one.

Description of Work: I had Derrick with DNA Heating and Cooling llc out to my home. I was very nervous because I have never had to call a contractor to my home. I called him and he was very nice and professional. He actually made me feel better even just talking to him on the phone. Sure enough like he promised, my a/c was working great again. The problem was mostly dirt causing the issues. He then proceeded with checking my refrigerant and " found leak at weld joint from poor installation". I decided to do their service contract which gives me peace of mind. He is not just good at fixing them but he actually took the time after a long day and cleaned my whole system. He even cleaned my blower assembly which he showed me was very dirty. I have never felt so confident being a home owner. With the small family owned and operated business, i would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work with quality parts at prices that made even me happy.thanks DNA Heating and Cooling
