I called about a leak around a toilet. They came out and said that it needed to be replaced. Came back the next day and installed new toilet.

Installed new water heater 2/15/08. They are master at figuring out how to 'save' old fixtures. They removed an old flush valve assembly and added a new type in order to save our 1932 stool. They have replaced a 'traparm' on our master pedestal sink. Atec does routine plumbing also and have replaced pipes for us.
Description of Work: Repaired leak under sink 2/4/09. I was replacing contact paper in cabinet beneath sink and it was wet. Atec found one pipe wasn't long enough and problem had worsened with installation of new dishwasher. Pleased with their installation.

Karl and Bill showed up in the morning after my pressure tank for our well water went out. They provided a fair price and said they would be able to get the water back on that day. The job went as planned and the wife had water on when she got home.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced pressure well tank, switch and pressure gauge.

I called Karl and he was out in about twenty minutes! They immediately found the problem, ran to the hardware store and picked up some supplies. They ended up having to raise the drain for the water heater in the kitchenette and installed a new valve. The leak is gone! I was very happy with their timeliness and how quick they were to figure out the problem and fix it.
Description of Work: We had a leak coming from the tenant kitchenette above us (they're on 2nd floor) and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I had had our HVAC guys out thinking it could have been the AC unit in the ceiling, but they found nothing. The ATEC guys came out right away and immediately found the problem. The water heater in the upstairs kitchenette had been installed improperly and the pipe was not long enough which led to a slow water leak.

I WAS EXPECTING GUESTS THE NEXT DAY & MY STOOL STOPPED UP AGAIN. THE TECHNICIAN SAID IT WAS MY STOOL, I'D HAD IT, & JUST SAID REPLACE IT IF YOU CAN BE HERE BY TOMORROW MORNING. THE STOOL WAS REPLACED THE NEXT MORNING. I WASN'T HAPPY WITH PART OF THE STOOL DESIGN. ATEC HAD THE COMPANY REP CONTACT ME & THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED TO MY SATISFACTION. I WAS IMPRESSED.
