I have had a bad experience with the Tru-green company out of Evansville to service my yard in Jasper, I believe the product may very well be a good product. However, it seems very likely that they don't have enough staff/technicians, etc to cover the work that the salesperson promises. Therefore, responsiveness is very bad. I was assured that there was 100% satisfaction guarantee with their service and that if I should have ANY complaints about the service, it would be handled and addressed. One of the promises that was made was that if there was a heavy downpour following any treatment, that the service would be done again. That happened on my first treatment. When I called the salesperson to request a re-treatment (the only person I knew to contact), I had GREAT difficulty having him respond to my requests. He promised a re-treatment for the next week. When that didn't happen, I called him again. There was a promise of another time the following week to re-treat my yard. That didn't happen so I called again. He often didn't respond to my calls without me calling back more than once. There were several re-schedulings of my re-treatment, and I received a bill before the re-treatment occurred. When I requested to have a re-treatment on a day that was not forecast 100% rain, it fell on deaf ears. All the while, I still didn't have an adequate treatment done on my yard, and I had dandelions everywhere. Of course, when I was being sold the service, I was promised 100% satisfaction. Eventually I had a manager call me who did promise me that a technician would be out to my house the following day ( a Saturday) only after being so frustrated that I told him I just wanted the treatment that I had already been billed for, and then I would probably discontinue Tru-green due to my terrible experiences from the get -go. The re-treatment did finally occur on the Saturday, and he gave me his phone number to call directly should I have any other issues. Since I had used so much time to try to get the service done that I had actually already been billed for, I was not charged for that first treatment which I believe was fair considering I was a new customer and I had used MUCH of my time to make contacts to my lawn care provider due to their lack of response to my requests which was sold to me as a 100% satisfaction guarantee service. After receiving a couple of fertilizer/ weed control treatments and a GRUB control treatment (an extra charge which I did want to control moles), I noticed MANY signs of moles in my yard. When I called this manager to discuss my concerns, ( I have called three times over the course of a week and left 3 messages) I have yet to hear back from him. I will not wait for him to call me back. I will call someone else and discontinue their service due to their lack of responsiveness. It is possible they have a good product and it might have made my yard look nice. But their lack of responsiveness and the amount of time I have spent either trying to get ahold of someone from Tru-green to speak to and also the amount of time spent speaking to them is unacceptable to me. I would not recommend them for this reason.

It was a contract thing. They've been out about four times. I still see a little bit of weeds, a little bit of clover and that kind of stuff.

Initially, they were fine. But after the first service, they'll leave you alone. The price was reasonable.

I have used Trugreen previously when I lived in another city and have always been pleased with the quality of work and price level. I have had mixed success with this particular branch. The quality of lawn service has been just as good as other branches, after 1 year of service the lawn looks great. My biggest complaint is that they rarely show up when they say they will. Last summer I had to call the branch at least half a dozen times to get them to come out and complete the regular service or lawn aeration. I would receive an autmoated call saying the service would be completed on X date, and then several days after that date I would have to call to see what was going on. Eventually the work would be done, and then the cycle would repeat a few months later. All that being said, I plan on keeping the service for the foreseeable future. The end product is good and after all, this is Evansville and the only other lawn service company I could find couldn't even give me a quote.

I used them to replace another lawn service company. The lawn is greener and has fewer weeds. I have been pleased with the service so far.

The salesman (Keith) was very professional. It was nice to work with him.

I've used them off and on for about two years. I think this will be the last time I'll use them. I will have to see how much progress they will make on my yard.

They ended up spraying my yard with chemicals that ended up burning my grass.

I've been using Scotts Lawn Services for maybe 4 or 5 years. It's hard to tell their overall quality because my grass is dead, but I'll rate them a "B" an use their services in the future.

They are consistent at least. They do make good recommendations to improve the health of your lawn.

So far things are working out pretty well. Their pricing is very good. I will continue using them in the future.

I don't like them. They are not doing my service this year and if they were to offer it to me for free I would not take it. I had a bad experience. As far as I know all they sprayed was water on my lawn because it didn't kill any of the weeds.

The guy who returned my call on the phone was rude but it wasn't the same guy that came out to the house. They called when they were nearby to come and give me a quote. Once I agreed on a plan, he did the first treatment right there without me having to reschedule or wait.

I FEEL THE DID REALLY WELL. THEY CERTAINLY TOOK ALL PRECAUTIONS. THE PRICES ARE GOOD AND THEY COME WHEN YOU NEED THEM TO. I WOULD WHOLE HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND THEM.
