 + -1 moreOverall, well. Earlier than promised which was okay. He was pleasant. No complications. Wanted to take the chandelier with him, which was new, never been used. I said, no. If he would have given me a deal at 20% of bill for the ceiling fan, okay, but just to think you can have a new fan to put into another property is not good. Why else would he have taken a perfectly new fan? Invoice came and it was 3/4 over estimate. Next time I will get names, numbers, times, etc. to make sure invoice is close to estimate. May get again, but with the above in mine. Hope they noticed the typo in fine print. May be their printer's fault, but it was there.

Description of Work: After a great walkthrough inclusive of the contractor idea's of upgrades and new service entrance methods, Tony was on target and well expressed. His method of creating a room by room parts list with a general layout from beginning to end was of one the most professional sales calls I have ever witnessed. I was sold on Tony and did not contact any other electrical contractors for this project. |I left the property content and happy to be waiting for his bid, if he were over the project budget I would pay the difference. As time went on the plumbers rough in was completed and the project needed the electrical rough in. I phoned Tony's office and said the job address and that it was rough in time please have Tony call. One week went by and I phoned his office again and spoke to his son, his son replied Tony would call me that evening. No return call came, having true belief in Tony I called his office again. His son answered and I told him who I was and why I was calling, to my surprise his son stated, " My father does not want to do the Job." You could have hit me with a sledge hammer, I was sold on Tony's methods and had not ask for any other electrician's bid. I was in disbelief! I answered the young man by stating that Tony's response was rude. |I had to remember that some ten or so years earlier while Tony was in Jail and going thru legal problems, I always smiled at him and sent as much work as I could to him, always recognizing him at the building commission office and or at continuing education. In this case he let me down and the true funny of it all, if he would have been the most expensive contractor on this remodel I would have used his services and happily paid the bill. Tony you missed it big time and Angie's list users one and all should contact me in response to this review of your company. |

 + 0 moreThe electrician was very thorough he had to go for parts but returned and got the job done. We were very pleased with the service, they came the same morning we called and the price we felt was very reasonable.
Description of Work: Replaced 3 way light switch, replaced broken wall socket, installed new covers and GFCI to outside outlets.

 + -1 moreI called Reitz in a panic because the company installing my counter tops refused to touch the cook top - a problem the company never told me about when I called. They had an electrician out within 30 minutes to unhook it for me. The next day the electrician came back out and hooked it back up. The whole process went smoothly. Keith was very nice and professional. The company with the counter tops had blown a circuit breaker with their tools the evening before and I wasn't sure how to replace the fuse (new house, new type of fuse box). He showed me how to tell when the 'S' fuses needed to be replaced and actually gave me one he had in the truck to show me how to replace them. Excellent service and I will definitely be using them in the future if I need any electric work done!
Description of Work: Reitz sent someone out on extremely short notice to unhook a cook top for me for new counter top installation. The next day they came out first thing and hooked it back up. The electrician (Keith) even showed me how to 'read' my fuse box and showed me how to replace a blown circuit breaker.
