PMG Tree & Landscaping

One of several estimates to remove one tree. All estimates were from insured and bonded services. PMG's estimate was $2500 more than the others for the same services. I expect some price differences, but this was unbelievable!

I am extremely pleased with the work performed. We had a Shingle Oak Tree that stood 80 plus feet that had to be removed. The men got the tree down, cut up and loaded in a about five hours. They cleaned everything up and even got on the roof and blew the sawdust off and cleaned the gutters. I wish I could express more how pleased I am but, this will have to do. I highly recommend PMG!

The sidewalk workmanship was good, however. The ground under the sod was not evened out very well. There are many uneven places. They are nice, and think that being nice is all that's necessary to stay in business, and that you are going to overlook: 1. Not disclosing how backed up they are. 2. Asking the person what kind of sidewalk they had in mind but just assigning them a (probably a high-end) sidewalk. 3. Being punctual. 4. Respect changes you have made (hello, remember the conversation about the dead stump in the front; and taking off the seeding and hay). I asked "how do you want to get paid?" Answer: "That's a good question." Last but not least, keep Harley from dealing with clients.She has 0 public relations skills.

I have used PMG twice now. Both times were very fairly priced and they do a good job. The only downside is they are very busy so cannot complete service right away. They are worth the wait.

They did a super job. While we did the clean-up ourselves, they organized the the mess into small piles. Also, they cut the trunk into manageable pieces for a small fee. They were punctual and got done what they said they were going to.

Make sure you have everything in writing up front.

The person I talk to was respectful and professional. He understands what I wanted right away and he did not just wanted to sell me stuff I did not wanted. They were simple and easy to understand. So far I am happy they were willing wait until I get approval.

The job was "completed" first of September, on time and, apart from the need to replace some aluminum trim because of dents, a more thorough yard clean-up because of cigarette butts, and a price adjustment because of a flat tire on our vehicle from running over roofing nails in the driveway, appeared satisfactory. Bigger problems began in a few weeks when, during the first rain after the job completion, water was running behind the gutters, along the underside of the porch, and pooling on the back side of the porch. PMG came out and did some caulking that they thought would solve the problem. The next rain proved differently, with gutter leaks still running under the porch. At about the same time, a wet spot developed on the ceiling in our living room, directly under the roof valley where the new porch roof was attached to the existing house roof. PMG chose to contract with a third-party roofer to reroof the porch but, couldn't provide a time the job would be completed. We requested a tarp be placed on our roof to prevent any further damage, which stayed on our roof for a month or more. The new roofing was finally completed December 9th, three months after the original job was "completed". Unfortunately there were still gutter issues after the new roofing. My gutters had a leaf diverter screen which I allowed PMG to remove because they said it was responsible for the gutters not working correctly. They also inspected our attic to determine no further water damage had occurred and sprayed KILZ on the stained area of our living room ceiling. They performed some additional caulking and installed a water diverter on the gutter. Again, unfortunately, with rains just before Christmas, we experienced gutter leaking and I called PMG to come out and see the problem. They indicated there was no one available to come out and look. As a matter of fact, they have never come to our home during a rain to see the problems. They have never checked with us after any of their fixes to see if the problems were resolved. I'm still waiting for a satisfactory resolution from PMG.

The job went well. Price-wise it was good. They did an excellent job. They came when they said they would come. They cleaned up very nicely. We were very pleased. I had no complaints about the price. The quality was excellent. Everything was fine. I would definitely use them again in the future. I have already recommended them to other people.

They were on time. They were very friendly and patient; my mother is hard of hearing and they were patient with that. They will be coming out to do the work this afternoon.

PMG was prompt in giving an estimate. In fact I had to have them return for a second estimate due to an insurance adjustor's mistake about what would be covered.. They did both estimates quickly and courteously and furnished an easy to understand report. They showed up on time to do the work bringing enough workers and equipment. They were fast and efficient and did a very good job in getting the trees well shaped again. They did such good work that I asked them to raise the limbs on another tree while they were here which they did at a very reasonable price. Overall they were punctual , professional and reasonably priced. When I need a tree service again, PMG will be the first I call.
