Description of Work: He painted a ceiling, some walls and a door.

Description of Work: Needed two spots in our ceiling patched from roof leaks. One spot had drywall and insulation to fall on the floor from being soaked from rain. Mr Noller and his assistant let us know every step they followed in order to get the job done. There were no surprises or extra charges. They finished the work quickly and took pains to protect my grand piano which was directly under one leak. The price was fair for the amount of work they did.

Description of Work: The first day Scott was supposed to show up he called 20 minutes before we were supposed to meet and cancelled for the day. He also missed a second day later on. He did not stay late to make sure he met my move in date with the moving company. | |Before we began I walked him through my house and had the paint samples for each color to evaluate the cover-ability of the paint. He asked that I switch brands to the primer and color in one to allow for one coat cover. This was more expensive, but I expected to be able to trust his professional opinion. In nearly ever room he had to use multiple coats to cover the old color. He did ask me this before he began since it would take more paint, but he failed to mention that he would be charging me an additional hourly rate for the second coat. I would have expected this to be discussed when we toured the house looking at my samples. He mentioned one room he thought might be hard to cover, he painted 5 rooms in more than one coat. Also we had discussed quantities of paint, and although I was working out of town, I had family go buy additional paint to make sure he had enough. At the end he handed me $300 in paint receipts which he did not tell me he was purchasing. The price was 150% what I was quoted. | |Also throughout the course of him painting my house, each time I went home his lunch trash was throughout my home and he did not throw it away in the trash can. His radio was left on blaring loud every night as well. Without asking permission he went through my tools to find items that he should have brought his own of and never put them back. He did not replace any of the receptacle or light switch covers after he removed them. And he killed the grass in my backyard because he used my house without asking to wash out his paint supplies in my back yard. If he would have asked I would have told him to use the spigot in the front and wash out on the driveway to prevent killing my grass and flowers. | |The most appalling part of this encounter was the bathroom. All three of my bathrooms had remains left in the toilet. That is disgusting and beyond bad manors, it is unsanitary. That is a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for my belongings. I work in the construction industry and the number one rule is leave the client's areas spotless so that no one can tell you were ever even present. | |Due to his lack of ability to maintain his schedule I had to return to work before he could finish. My mother was kind enough to go stay at the house to pay him on his last day. He avoided my calls until the last moment and then argued with me on the phone. After that he proceeded to be extremely rude to my mom, whom was never involved in the conversations, and all she tried to do was pay him the amount he asked for despite the fact that I disagreed completely with his price.

We had called Mr Noller to come out and give us a bid on painting our exterior shutters, along with painting Kitchen Cabinets, Kitchen, Den painting over maple wood slats and the living room with crown molding. Mr. Noller was prompt and on time. He was extremely courteous and professional. He explained in detail on how he would perform his work. My boyfriend was concerned about how the Den would turn out due to the fact he was painting over wooden slats. Mr Noller explained his procedures and ensured us that he would guarantee his work and that we would be extremely satisfied. He told us he has been in business for over 20 years and that he prides himself with his repeat customers.
