Joe did an excellent job of assisting me in tracing the conglomeration of wires and understanding just what a previous owner had attempted to do. Unfortunately whomever tried to fix the situation made it much worse. As we were about an hour into the diagnostics, Joe did ask me if I was sure I wanted to continue trying to trace the wires out as he knew it was costing me $75 per hour. I indicated that I really wanted to know where all of these wires went so we can get the situation corrected. Another hour passed and more issues were discovered and again Joe asked me and basically recommended that I cut my losses here and run two new lines to my gates as it was now apparent that the problem was in the ground between the house and the gates. I agreed and have plans to engage JE Shekell to assist when the time comes. Also, in the course of our investigations, Joe also pointed out a couple of unrelated safety items I needed to take care of. I never felt he was trying to drum up more business but instead could tell his commentary was out of concern for the safety of my family and home.

The service technicians are always prompt and even call ahead of time to confirm when they are on the way from a previous appointment.

I chose them through their advertising. They are very professional and very knowledgeable. They are not the cheapest in my area but are the best. I have problems getting a call back from them at times.

They were prompt and they did what they were asked to do. I didn't compare their price. I think I would use them again.

I had a very puzzling electrical problem in my Bonus Room. The electrician made 3 trips investigating, replacing circuit breakers, etc. and discovered the treadmill was the problem. We did find that this was not an uncommon problem. Together we lubricated the treadmill and it is performing well. However, we both agreed it was time for a new treadmill.

Two things happened. I had an issue with a sump pump in a crawl space under the house. They sent somebody out and he went under the house and changed the pump. He presented me with a bill and all it had was the cost of the visit. I asked him to itemize the bill because it was blank and had what ever he was charging me for it. I think he might have got offended because maybe he thought I didn't believe him. I thought that it was a little odd that he would act clearly offended. This was just a technician not someone in the office. He said he would have to call the office to get an itemized list. I told him to go ahead and that I have nothing but time. I feel like as a consumer you want to know what you are paying for. You can't just hand somebody a blank bill with $300 dollars on the bottom of it and it be ok. There was a miscommunication in the office as to what I was going to be charged but it was ok. The noise with the pump was still going on so I had to call the guy back. I called and asked them to send somebody else out. I ended up speaking with a Sheckle this time. He sent a different guy out. He fixed it. He was very thorough. I think after the initial hick-up with the first guy it all worked itself out. The price wasn't exorbitant.

They do good work. They are economical. They know what they are doing. They have a good reputation. They are very good. I would recommend them to anybody.

Very well. The workman arrived on time. He was polite and professional. He got the work done neatly and in a timely manner. I plan to call J. E. Shekell for any future electrical work.

The price was relatively fair, but he is not the cheapest service in town. He does a good job, and he is very responsive. He gets the job done like I want.

They are a big company here in town and have got a zillion trucks. They will come out almost always the same day when I call them, if not right away. They even do weekends but we get charged extra for the weekend, but they can do emergency work on weekends. They just do everything. They are expensive, but we know they are going to be expensive since it is a well-known fact. I have never had a problem with their quality. I need to call them to put some light fixtures in the upstairs rooms for me.

It ended up working. I would use them again.

They provide a wide variety of services a home owner might use. They are generally very good. I have not done any price comparison so they may be a little higher, but I still use them. They are very high quality. They are prompt and professional. I will continue to utilize their services.

I live in Henderson and I mostly use Henderson services. I don't use a lot of Evansville services. JE Shekell is in Evansville. They are 15 miles from me. They do heating and air, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and sheet metal. They also do drain stuff and I didn't know until I had a problem. I've used them for quite a while and they are excellent.

They have very good electricians. They are excellent. They are timely and very professional. They stand by their work. Their cost is competitive. The overall experience was excellent.

Technician arrived and spent an excessive amount of time trying to identify the problem that was causing the zone baffle system to malfunction. After he finally isolated the problem he gave me an estimate to repair which was excessive. I later had the problem corrected for approximately one half the price by another contractor.

They did the job professionally and quietly. They were $200 to $300 less than Bud's, which I also like, so I just took the cheapest. The overall experience was excellent. I use this company often.

We called the company in the morning and they told us that they were busy. They called in the afternoon and said that they could come out, so they came out and fixed our water heater. They also do electrical and are our favorite.
