The service tech was knowledgeable and efficient with his time.

The amazing thing was twice I called them and they came out did the work exactly the day after and finished it half the time that they said they would. Even when they had problem the price didn't change significantly. They were prompt that's the main thing.

I purchased a home in 2008 with a new HVAC unit that had been purchased from and installed by JE Shekell. I purchased the home in April, and at the end of May I had to call because the AC was not working. The previous homeowners had contacted JE Shekell for 2 service calls prior to this call for servicing the heating unit. From 2008-2011 I had to schedule 5 separate service calls. The service men were always on time but not professional. One service man said profane words while frustrated with the unit. After the 5 year maintenance agreement was up, I contacted Lappe Heating and Air and they were able to fix the problem in one service call. This unit was a high end unit, and it has caused a bunch of frustration. I would not purchase a unit from JE Shekell or call them for a service call.

Responsive. Easy to schedule. Shows up on time and does the work. I highly recommend.

At 5 years and 2 weeks the unit stopped working, They came out & said that I would need a new unit.. I reminded them that the unit was only 5 years old & they said according to there records it was 2 weeks out of warranty. I ask them to work with me & they said that CARRIER enforces that policy and that I would need to pay for another unit. I called SCHIFF AIR CONDITIONING - HEATING. They came out installed a TRANE 10 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR, GPS-2400- Air purifier, put on a sensor ( at no charge & I didn't even ask them for this) on the heating unit inside the house that would shut off the units if it sensed water. This all for a price less than a Carrier Unit from Shekell. Shiff also fabricated and installed a large drain pan for the entire system, which Shekell said would be to costly

After an incredibly long story about what happened with the countertop company, who refused to install my new sink despite my request for it in the original order, I was left with a new countertop and no sink. The house is old and the hot & cold pipes had no individual shut off valves. The installers tried to help me with the problem by somehow blocking the flow of water to the old sink. Little did we know they didn't make a way for the water to stay out of an old little plastic pipe that I believe used to run to an old refrigerator ice maker but at that poing just hung, useless and attached to nothing, under the sink. I came home from work to a partially flooded kitchen. It was late so I shut off all the water in the house and cleaned up the mess. The next day I called JE Shekell in a panic. They sent Jeremy out within 4 hours and he went straight to work. He removed all the old (and I suspect original) metal pipes that had previously been under the sink and replaced them with wider PVC pipes. He also installed individual shut off valves for the hot water line and the cold water line to the new sink. He removed the random piece of hose. He installed the new sink and new faucet fixtures. It all took a little over an hour. He did a great job and I am very pleased with him and the company.

Provide excellent services every time we have a job. I won't go anywhere else or recommend anyone else. These guys have being the tops in HVAC, Plumbing, & electrical work I have had them perform.

The initial estimate was appallingly high so we declined them. Until we got a couple more estimates wanting the same or more. So we decided to go with ME Shekell based on their good reviews. The electrician who came out had a brutal job, climbing around in our cramped, hot, insulation packed attic. But he was a trooper; was very professional and did a great job in a timely fashion. The job was completed more quickly than expected so they lowered the price considerably. Very good experience. Highly recommend this company.....

It went great. They are always quick to respond. Very little wait time.

It pains me to have to write a review like this but it is what it is. First off, I did answer that I would use the provider in the future but not likely ever again for this specific division of work depending on the technician involved. I've had plumbing and electrical work done that I gave outstanding grades to. Generally I called a few weeks back to get this work done. Leaving voice mails as that was the only option (for this specific line of work) when I'd call in about this vent never were returned. This happened both when getting a visit scheduled for estimate and the same way when calling for the estimate after the visit. I'm giving a D since an effort was made to come out and review the work to do the estimate however and F for responsiveness since I was inevitably concerned that this would drag on. The way I got the visit for the estimate was by calling and having him emailed that I was waiting on a return call of which I didn't really want to go to that level every time. While I was waiting for calls to be returned I was able to get an estimate from and work performed by Brackett instead (I provided a review for the work they did as well).

Went quick and easy. Tech also verified and resealed nearby joints before doing pressure test on. I had this installed based on an inspection notation that one was needed. Finally was getting it off of my to do list. Ron did an excellent job all around.

Reviewed a few spots with tech and had the leaking spot replaced. Not much to report except that Ron did a great job. I will also be replacing a few fasteners soon where there are other rub spots I want to prevent from getting worse. This part of the pipe went mostly due to a major dent it received a long time back. I was able to get on the schedule next business day as it was a slow leak I wanted to do soon but not as an emergency. Main fees $75 diag & $81 repair.

Joe was absolutely dedicated to doing a professional job. I had all materials available ahead of the call so there are no materials costs on this service call, just a little over 5 hours of time. The most difficult items were dedicated circuits to the sump pumps due to routing of wire through walls. He did a great job putting in runs while taking advantage of wall spaces without needed to place extra tubing or carving access points. I was also lucky enough to get a 10% coupon from the plumber that visited last week to apply to this call. I'm very happy to get all my long-standing to do items off my list. He even found and fixed a pinched wire he ran across when rewiring the attic light.

Everything was great. Everything was professional. I just had a lower quote that would do more.

I am happy with their service. They seemed knowledgeable and cleaned up the mess by themselves. I chose them over other companies because of their reputation.

They are good. They do what they said they were going to do. They show up when they said they were going to show up. They are quick and efficient. They know what they’re talking about. They are trustworthy. When you talk to them, there’s a sense that you know that they will take care of everything the right way. They don’t throw you with anything that doesn’t really exist.

I was not home when the service was done. I haven't followed up Shekell to get their final report although they left something for me. But it appeared that everything is working fine.

Circuit was tripping and was hot. Changed to new breaker on 6/22/12 at a charge of !116.56. Outlet was still tripping and a new dedicated circuit was run to this room at a charge of $563.00. All is fine now.

They were here when they said they were going to be here. The final price was exactly what they said it was going to be.

We were having occasional power outages in one of our rooms and we always had to reset the applicable circuit breaker. We called Shekell Inc for repairs. The electrician arrived on time and was courteous, thorough and very competent. He quickly diagnosed the problems and replaced the bad circuit breaker and another one that he found to be faulty. We also asked that he remove and take away a yard light that wasn't functioning. We were very happy with the work completed.

We were really pleased with them. The guy who came out was really nice and very professional. I would recommend them. Their professionalism stood out for me. The price seemed fair.

On time...professional...cleaned up after themselves. Do prep the work area so they do not spend time (and your money) clearing out a cabinet. I did this and it makes the job go faster. Do get a quote. Do stay out of their way....they are professional. Do tell them exactly what you want...they are not mind readers. Do trust them. They know what they are doing but make sure they understand what you want them to do.

The expierence was good. They fixed the stove top exhaust fan. They showed up when they were suppose to and got the job done.
