My 3 ton central air unit went completely out. It was 89 degrees in the house and I couldn't afford to have a new unit put in. A 24,000btu window unit was my only choice but I didn't have the 220v service that I needed to run it. I called a random electrician online, told him what happened and without coming to the house he quoted me a price that I would've needed to take out a loan for. I went back online, called Electrical Systems Co. and spoke with the owner, Jock Stucki. He came the very next day, explained everything that I needed, he even helped me decide which window would be the best one for the unit. His price was a third of what the other company wanted and he had all of the supplies with him. He immediately started working on it. It was hot outside, he had to work under a tricky crawlspace and ran into obstacles but never charged me a penny more than the original estimate. He even helped a man carry out my grandfather clock and helped him load it into a vehicle. When he was finished he left everything spotless! The price and quality were outstanding. I learned to always get a second estimate and it definitely paid off. I have Jock's number on speed dial now and he will be the only electrician I ever use.
