Nothing but problems and issues with the entire job. Contracted to have siding, soffit and facias, and gutters replaced for a two story house and garage on March 30. Provided a 50% deposit with a written time frame on the contract of 5-6 Weeks, and verbally guaranteed to be complete by July 4, 2017. When the time frame passed by many weeks I began pressing for the work to begin. I then found out that a window to be replaced had yet to be ordered and would not arrive in time for the job. I contracted with the Evansville office and a crew from Indianapolis came out a day later than promised, worked for most of the week and disappeared. When I requested explanation the following Monday why no one showed up, a inexperienced crew out of Evansville was sent. They worked most of the second week and disappeared. The third week another different crew out of Indianapolis arrived and completed most of the job. I have had to contact both the owner and job manager from the Indianapolis office trying to get issues fixed. They installed the siding with 2 1/2" nails, so long that they nailed through my breaker panel to the point it pushed a breaker out of its slot. I had to make them take that siding off and reinstall with shorter nails. They affixed ladders to my roof, not with roof jacks, but with short 2x4's nailed through my roof, and when they left they patched my dark gray roof with ivory caulk. I had to make them replace the shingles. I came home the day the gutters were being installed to find that the gutter installer was in the process of installing 5" gutters when my contract was for 6" gutters. He had run out all the seamless gutters at 5" and had half of them installed. He had to take them down and redo them. He took 1 1/2 weeks. The window they failed to order (they had since March 30 to order it) came in and I was told it was the wrong size so they ordered another window. The second window came in and was a new construction window. The crew they sent to install it did not know this. It was a second story window that would now require the new siding to be removed to install the window and they only had one ladder. Two weeks later a crew, again from Indianapolis, came out to install this second window and find out it was not the right size. The first ordered window was actually the right size. No effort was made to contain the nails from the removal of the old siding and installation of the new. I have had to have a riding mower tire replaced due to a long siding nail puncturing it. I receive what is supposed to be final billing and find out it does not reflect the contracts I signed.. Finally received corrected billing but had to contact the owner again to get it. This company has been nothing but problems and excuses. I would caution you to stay clear of them.

Work was completed in a timely manner. Company kept us informed. Our salesman Chris was very responsive and made sure we were pleased with the work.

Our sales guy, Daniel, is and has been great. We made the deal, paid a deposit and waited for our new roof. Contract stated, start to finish, 5-7 weeks, depending on supplies, not poor scheduling of the actual work. Our roof was started around 7 weeks and we are still waiting to get it finished properly. We signed the contact on August 23, 2016. Today is November 11, 2016. Once we signed the contract, there was no communication. I have initiated all contact: Finding the start date...and now repairs to the new roof. Tools and trash were left in our yard. The day after the work, our 18 month old walked up to us with a handful of nails. I called them and they sent someone out to clean-up. Then I got on the roof and found mistakes. I documented everything and sent it all to Elbert Construction. Our sales guy was on vacation, so we had to work with someone else. Finally, they came out and Todd (I assume a Supervisor of sorts) agreed with all my findings. Repairs were made...of course, after I kept contacting them to find out when they would take care of them. So repairs got done, only to find that the repairs were not done properly. I am still waiting for the remaining repairs to be completed, including some gutter work. We had worked with another contractor (from Kentucky) for our previous home. They did a wonderful job, but after seeing the endorsements, the accreditation and the reviews, we were sold on Elbert. We are now regretting that choice.

Cody was really great to work with. He did what he said he would. Everything went smoothly & quietly.

Communicate was good. Workers were polite and got the job done as scheduled.

Elbert did a great job for me. Their price was less than the competitors for equal or better materials. The salesman was professional and helpful. The workman did an excellent job, they worked efficiently and quickly. They also cleaned up the area when it was complete. I liked them so well, they are doing a second job for me on my rental property. I highly recommend.

Elbert Construction came out to the house and was done lock stock and barrel in two days. The only thing that you could tell that Elbert construction was there is the roof itself. Fine job guys!

I was looking to get my roof replaced due to some hail and wind damage that happened over several events. I contacted three roofers to provide me an estimate. I will not name the other companies I requested bids from, but I will state that Elbert was the middle bid. The low bid was very low from my figures and the high bid was several thousand dollars higher than Elbert. Of the three companies, Elbert was the only one that sent a person to come talk to me and spend time with me explainnig what they would do. The others were done via phone or email. The representative from Elbert was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. My roof involved the insurance company as well and the rep from Elbert worked with them throughout the process. The Elbert rep did a great job with me and the insurance company. After signing the contract for the work (again another face to face visit) and going over the types of shingles to use (color, quality, etc.) the Elbert rep was very helpful in communicating when the work would be done. There was a slight delay but that was mainly due to the weather since it was early in the roofing season. I happened to be out of town when the work was done, but they did a great job in about three days (this included changing out some boards due to rot). When I returned home I found very little evidence they had been there besides the new roof, which looked great. As with any company you need to do your homework. I felt Elbert was a quality outfit and did a quality job. Yes their price was not the lowest, but I always believe you get what you pay for with that type of work. The money I paid for this job was well worth the quality that I got from the company. The company exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs to have a roof replaced. I feel confident as well that if I were to have an issue (none so far and it has been four months) that they would be responsive to those issues as well.

Crew of 8 showed up on time and completed removal of old roof (shingles and paper) and installation of new roof to include new ridge vents in 2 days. The only issue was that the drip strips did not match the existing trim, but the crew was back out within 2 days to replace the strips. Work was completed for price estimated. Upon completion, all refuse was cleaned up and removed and the only evidence they had been here was the new roof. I would use Elbert Construction again and recommend them.

First off, Cody Willis is beyond fantastic. He came late after work one evening to accommodate our schedules and provide information and an estimate. He did a very thorough inspection of our home. We were told by a previous contractor that we needed to replace our cedar shingles as well as the roof. Cody informed us that the cedar was actually in good shape with the exception of one side of our home. I cannot thank him enough for his honestly. We had a previous estimate of over $35,000 for a replacement roof and (vinyl) siding. Cody then wrote us up a quote and assisted us in selecting a beautiful roof. The roof installation was flawless. They roofers came and had the whole roof removed and replaced within a day and a half. There was no mess, and they landscaping was left in mint condition. The noise was not too bad I would also like to note. I cannot recommend a better roofing company. We are beyond pleased with everything. Cody is currently working on researching options for our weathered cedar shingles. We love Elbert Construction and will recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof!
