DW Remodeling

Could be the single worst decision of my life. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON. I made the mistake of paying this person before the job was complete after which he pulled a disappearing act. Job was never completed. After a month I gave up and did it myself. Here is the rundown: Shower surround installed crooked. Simply thrown in. Plumbing leaked. Discovered this around week 2 when the carpet in the master bedroom was wet. Large area of sub floor was saturated. I asked him to put a fan in the crawl space to help the drying process. He said he would but like most things he did not follow through. While redoing all of his work I discovered the handle on the new shower hardware was not secured to anything, meaning the handle you use to turn the shower on and off was simply suspended by the pluming, not the wall studs. The new shower is approximately 2 inches smaller in all areas then the old one so dry walling needed done. Instead of doing a proper drywall, he simply stuffed mud into the gap which quickly recessed and cracked. Looked AWFUL. To say this was amateur work would be insulting amateurs everywhere. I had to cut out all of his work and redo it. He never showed up when he said he would. My job seemed an inconvenience after he got paid. When he did show up it was for about 20 minutes at a time. This person is the reason I joined Angie's List.

Terrible job! Plumbing was not done properly, bathroom pipes was still leaking the floor was not done properly the floor was put on a rotted floor. the bathtub was not put back properly it no longer held water, a hole was cut in the wall and the wall looked crooked and was not painted good and a purple stain was left on my floor also the molding in the bathroom around the tub it looked terrible it was not the right molding and the sheet rock dust was left on the floor. I had to pay another contractor 2600 to do the job right.
