 + -1 moreI was also pleased with their response time. I called Best Tree Service to ask for an estimate which was hundreds of dollars less than any other estimate. Lew's crew started work on my yard within a week of our first meeting. Lew also took care of contacting the utility company to mark the utilities so his crew did not dig up anything when grinding the stump. Both my front and back yard look so much better and gets so much more light now that the tree skirts are lifted and the maple trees are selectively thinned. I do not have to worry about them becoming sails in high winds any more. The shape of the trees are so much more attractive now. I will use their service again in the future.
Description of Work: Lew and his crew removed one maple tree and ground out the stump. They professionally trimmed one oak tree that was more than 80 feet high and 2 sugar maples in one day. Then Lew offered and removed a small dying rebud tree without charging any extra. They made my the trees safe so the house, garage and power lines are no longer in danger of falling limbs. Lew, the owner was on the site with the crew all day to make sure my yard was cleaned and free of all limbs and leaves. They even mulched up a lot of the branches and left a neat pile of mulch in my yard where I asked them to place it so I can use the mulch in my many gardens. They were careful and made an effort to not smash any of the plants in my shade gardens growing under the trees they trimmed with either their equipment or falling limbs.
