Description of Work: Picked up furniture & boxes in Owensboro, all went well. Delivery date was 27th and they arrived after 4pm. Said they had to charge more because they were unable to get van thru our gates of gated community and it would be a thousand more dollars to get a shuttle and bring stuff in. I asked if company had google earth and they said yes but did not use it in this case. The head of the company was the one that came out and did the estimate for 6,389.00 said it could be less but not more. Delivery truck came from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am not sure but furniture was loaded onto 2 trucks in Owensboro, unloaded and stored in Evansville, then reloaded onto the Cincinnati truck and then unloaded onto the shuttle and then unloaded at my house. Many things were damaged 2 tables with the legs pulled away from the top. 2 Lamps broken, several glass items including an antique vase from Korea. Of course we packed the boxes so it was declared our fault. Many of the boxes were dented in and both of the Wardrobe boxes were dented in on top. Did not hurt the clothes but shows how "gentle" they were. It was hot here and the 3 guys unloaded were worked very hard but did not finish until 10:30pm that evening.
