Ace Construction

Ace Roofing Co, is very deceiving. They have a contract pay in full when the job was completed and not verbal agreement accepted. They billed me end of Dec 2022. But the job wasn't completed until Feb 2023. Then my account was hacked into. So I made payments. The owner asked me to apply for 6 months free finance. Meanwhile, I was continuing communicating with them they will receive $4500 on its way. During this process, out of nowhere, they decided to renege their verbal agreement and paperwork...knowing they had not intended to work with customer. They sent me lawsuit letter and didn't not give me any notice to work something out. I was making monthly payments, first payment $1000. They deliberately hid the second payments so they can note that one payment was paid from Dec to April 2023. Once I provided proofs, suddenly magically they found my missing payment. The job was completed in Feb 23. Payment was paid in March and April. They send one email that I couple respond to. All the other emails, not able to reply. I didn't meet to their threatening letter and because it was short notice, they receive the payments past their goal date. I has asked they would honor their verbal agreement. No response!!!!!!!

They did the work that we asked them to do. It took the two guys 5 minutes to complete the job and we received a bill for $150.00 the next week.

Pretty fast at getting someone over to our house to get the estimate. We were ready to move on upgrading our bathrooms and was going to pay cash. They said it would take a week or so to get the estimate to us. Well that was over 2 months ago and we have not gotten that estimate. Called multiple times and they said oh well the email address was wrong so we mailed it out to you. Then they called 2 weeks later saying they got the estimate back in the mail all damaged and they would send it out the next Monday. That was a month ago. I called to get a confirmation that it was sent out and left a message and have never heard back from them. Horrible.

Everything went fine once the work started, communication was only fair about starting the job.

Went great. They were there by 7 am every morning and worked until 3 or 3:30 except when the drywall finisher was letting the drywall mud dry. Took exceptional care to minimize dust and dirt getting to the rest of the house. They brought cardboard to tarps to cover the floors.

They did and excellent job. They did have to come back and redo some of the drywall mudding and repaint, but did that without any complaints.

They were very prompt to provide a detailed estimate. Sent a crew out in the pouring rain to put tarp over a hole. Started and completed the work as scheduled. No property damage and very well managed during construction. Quality work and materials. No change orders from the original estimate.

They sent out a inspector then sent out a representative to discuss the options. The representative is very thorough. He spent about 2 hour in my house to explain thing and answer questions. Me and my wife were very satisfied with his knowledge and patience. We got a quote for different type of material and warranties. I really learned a lot from this man. Their price was pretty high, I did not end up having the work done with them. I have a friend referred me to another Master Elite certified roofer in town, who he knows personally. We ended up getting it done with the same job with same type of warranty for about 3/5 of the cost. However, ACE really educated me on roofing and what I should look for. If you have them do your roof, you know you are getting it done right.

Showed up on time to give estimate. Dennis was professional and gave suggestions on the work that needed to be performed. He did not try to oversell me on things I didn't need. The work was all performed as requested and everything was cleaned up when complete. Overall they did a great job and I would definitely use them again.

I hired ace to install a new water heater and fix a few leaks in a vacant rental house. There was no issue with their work, however water didn't get shut off after the job was completed and as a result the basement flooded from a separate issue. I live in another state and gave them a call to speak with them about the problem. Even though Ace was not directly responsible for the issue, Dennis and the team at ACE came out and helped clean up the mess. They went above and beyond with this job. I was very impressed with their responsiveness and willingness to help beyond the scope of their work. I would certainly recommend them and use them again. Job well done ACE!

I called for the repair and they got someone out in 30 minutes. One hour later HOT WATER!

Ace Construction and Hoosier tile did an excellent job. *The estimate was that it would take 3 weeks and they were done in 3 weeks. Hoosier Tile came on Saturday and Sunday to finish the grouting. *The estimate was provided up front with a contract. Ace gave a discount on the second shower since the team would do both at the same time * ACE did not require any type of deposit/payment until the final walk through. *The cost came under the estimated price but I did supply the tile, shower fixtures, stone and grout. I wanted to pick out my preferences. I am very happy with the time and quality of the work. The Ace and Hoosier tile teams were very courteous and professional. I am still waiting on the glass installation and expect that to be completed within a week. I would highly recommend Ace Construction, they do quality work.

Their quality of work was outstanding, their price was very competitive, but it took them a long time. It was about 3 or 4 days job but it took them 4 or 5 weeks to complete.

My daughter wanted to do some remodeling/updating to her house. While shopping at Home Depot, I was informed that Home Depot had a partnership with ACE Construction. We met with ACE, obtained an estimate, and decided to use them for the project. An ACE representative met my daughter and I at Home Depot so that she could pick out all required items (bathroom fixtures, floor, paint color, etc.). ACE took care of delivering all items. The work was completed within a reasonable timeframe and to my and, more importantly!, my daughter's satisfaction. While I believe that the price was a little high, the final cost was the exact amount originally quoted. Also, ACE encountered/fixed an unexpected issue with a broken drain and did not charge any extra fees. All ACE workers were professional and congenial, but I rated professionalism a "B" because one worker gave my daughter a hard time because she had changed her mind regarding the type of one of the fixtures. Update 8/28/2015: After several months of my daughter's enjoyment of their work and no issues with their work, I have decided to upgrade my overall rating of ACE Construction to an "A".

Put a new roof on our home. It was done timely and professionally. We had a couple of items that needed attention after the installation and they took care of them immediately. Very pleased. Cleaned up the mess! No nails left in yard.

Have no idea since they didn't show up. The house has had all siding removed as well as gutters, so it is currently exposed to the elements. They said they "might" be able to come on Friday (two days after I was told they would start) and acknowledged they knew it was most likely going to rain Friday and they don't work when it rains (70% chance of rain) as well as calling for rain Sat, Sun, Mon, & Tue I fully expect my basement to flood since we have no gutters. It's now late afternoon and have not heard from the owner or anything. Lowes (who contracted them) is currently scrambling to find another business that can do it but it would take a miracle to get someone now before the rain. I am devastated. ACE also said it was a job that would take them WEEKS. My house is about 1600 square ft. I asked around and was told 7 days TOPS. The worst part is that the owner, Dennis doesn't seem to really care and somehow is blaming Lowes?? I signed a contract for this back in March (it's May 7th now) have paid for the job and currently all I have is the supplies in my driveway just laying there. It has been beautiful weather for quite awhile and I have been on the schedule for quite awhile and looking up the weather to see the upcoming days of rain shouldn't be that difficult. Since starting this, the manager of Lowes (Henderson, Ky) Susan has called me and told me that she found someone else and there should be people there when I get home today from work. Thank God for her that she found this a situation worthy of working on non stop since this morning until she found a solution. Hoping the prediction of rain Fri-Tues goes away!!!

It went Great! It was beyond expectations. They had to battle a little rain here and there, but had no control on that. There was someone cleaning up all day off and on. They did what they said they were going to do. They didn't smoke on the job nor any left trash.

They were very prompt and courteous when they came out to give me an estimate to replace the roof. They showed up on time and as promised They kept me informed of the progress and of the issues that arose so that there were no surprises. They did a great job cleaning up and the roof looks good. Overall the did a great job.

Their pricing is competitive and the experience has been excellent. They don't cut corners and they do what I expect them to do; not what I tell them to do. This company is on-time, reliable and professional. They are an excellent company to work with.

We met with the architect and when I went to their office to talk about things they were very accommodating. We had a leak on our old roof and we were remodeling it. They came out and tarped the roof so we could finish with the remodeling. They saw that our house was all one-level and did not have any valleys in it so, since our job was a two-day job, they went ahead and put us in front of some other people and fit us into their schedule. They were very gracious in doing that because my husband is disabled and we really needed to get these renovations done; that was a great help for us. They worked along with the people who were doing the remodeling. They got the job done earlier than we had anticipated. They were a nice group and they had short days due to the time of the year but they got the job done within a day and a half. I thought the price was a little high but the quality of the service was really good. They did everything as promised.

It was a very good experience. The work was quality, they followed up. When things were not quite what they should have been they fixed it.

Dennis at Ace promptly sent out the estimate. Ace was the lowest bid out of 3 companies but it impressed me that the work is done by his employees and not sub-contracted out. He worked with me on providing some items & adjusting prices when I purchased other items. (ex: lighting, shower enclosure, etc) He even had someone from his crew pick up my walk in shower enclosure when it wasn't received on the date I was provided when purchased. Ace worked around by schedule and I did not have to take any personal time off from my work. I will continue using Ace & have recommended them to my friends & family.

The roof looks great! It was the best price we got from other estimates. They finished on schedule and cleaned up well.

They were very reasonably priced and cleaned up after themselves.

Went very well. Told us what he could and couldn't do. Explained what the problem was and fixed it in reasonable time. Advised us who to call for what he was unable to do. Charged for only what work he actually did. Was able to do it in one visit. We called about the stove and explined our washer problem and it got fixed the same time. Very honest and friendly and careful.
