Shades Express

Each residence required 2 visits; one to take measurements and one for complete installation. Actual installation for each home required less than 3 hours without any furniture movement or disruption to the home. We were very impressed with the quick turn-around time. We have had many complements on the shades and have had Tony cover additional windows at each home since.

What a wonderful experience! It is certainly refreshing to deal with a contractor who is professional, honest, and very skilled in his work. All of the window blinds in my home needed to be replaced; they were aluminum mini-blinds and many of the slats had become bent. I had one other company provide me with a quote for a comparable product (that actually didn't have some of the nicer features of Tony's blinds), but its price was higher than that given to me by Shades Express. The work that was done for me by Shades Express was VERY reasonable. It was also of excellent quality; I am extremely pleased with the results. Tony was very helpful in terms of providing advice (when I asked) as to what he would recommend. However, he was never overbearing or pushy. My work was completed in a very timely manner. The shades were installed about a week after Tony took the measurements. In doing the installation, he removed my existing blinds and curtains/draperies; he then rehung the draperies/curtains once the new shades were installed. One of the shades did not fit properly. Tony actually pointed this out to me and is coming back tomorrow to install a new one (at no cost to me). Such honesty and integrity are to be admired. In all respects, it was a pleasure to work with Tony. He is responsive, polite, friendly, tidy in his work habits, and very customer-oriented. He aims to please. I would recommend him without hesitation!

Very responsive, excellent product, more expensive than what I have paid in the past for window treatments, but totally worth it.

They did a great job. Tony was very good. He spend a lot of time with us. He came out when I had second thoughts on some of the things he did. He changed them with no charge. We couldn't be happier. Tony is a very neat guy besides being a super craftsman.

All 3 companies made good presentations but Shades Express had the best value for the price. Having the owner come to take measurements and do the installation was a plus. We're thrilled with our up/down shades. Instead pulling them down from the top, these give you the option of pulling them up from the window sill, allowing you to see out at eye level, while still providing privacy. We plan to buy several more this year from Shades Express. We get lots of compliments and are happy to recommend them.
