Professional was very unprofessional in his attempt to try and finish the projects set out for him by us. His quote was cheaper than most and we went with him because of this--only reason. After quote, he waited for us to get permission to start the projects in my dad's neighborhood. Project was started quickly after a few weeks of approval waiting. After 2 days of telling the contractor how we wanted him to approach things. I kept hearing complaints from my dad over his lack of professionalism as he asked my dad if it was ok to drink a beer on the job site while working. Drinking a beer is unacceptable as it puts us in an unsafe position if he gets hurt while on our property. The liability is a problem and we are legally responsible for him. At the point of agreeing with him, my dad paid him $200 to bring out sand to level the ground for a shed he was working on. He never gave us a contract to sign and he never gave us a paper quote for our records. Contractor never brought sand and just leveled the ground and when questioned about it proceeded to tell me the sand was already down. Later on, he admitted in a message (after being fired) that he didn't bring any sand and told us he was trying to save us money. Problem with that is he decided to make that decision, not the customer. He never asked us. Another problem is that they were coming out and leaving after 2 hours of work, taking a 2 hour lunch, and then leaving early due to reasons that were never addressed with us. After day 3 of them working on our shed, I noticed the contractor had damaged plastic vinyl wall pieces that were there to hold up the shed once it was built. He trimmed 1 piece, making it hard almost impossible to use and we had to try to fix it in order to put it into place. Those pieces have a lip on the edges that slide into a track and the contractor had trimmed the lip most of the way off so it had to be manipulated to try and fix it as it became borderline unusable. These pieces are not supposed to adjusted in this way, just installed. He never asked us if this would be ok. Another piece looked like it had been kicked by someone as there was a big dent in the bottom half of one piece on another side panel. We also noticed he was not following the instructions in the booklet very well as he installed several pieces incorrectly that we had to unassembled and had to reassemble to correct. He didn't easily accept advise on how to correct the issue if he was trending in a bad direction or mistake. We also noticed that the guy in charge was not doing a lot of work but was in charge of his family who were making just as many mistakes as he was. The mistakes he made cost us more time and money than it was worth for the $200 we paid him for sand. His decisions put our project at a standstill and made us go in a different direction. He only apologized for us being unhappy with the work he had done. He never gave us a solution on how to fix his mistakes. He could have completely damaged our shed, and crushed our hope for completing this easily. We were supposed to have him build a handicap ramp on a deck but after seeing the quality of his work, I was not about to have him attempt this as it may have turned out just as bad. I also questioned him about the damaged side panels and he assured me that he would fix it and never said anything was damaged in the process of installation. I noticed the damage in person after they had left for the day and nothing was told to me in the meantime that this happened. Omitting what you did is the same as not telling the truth. So we lost faith and trust in the contractor by his choice to not tell us the decisions he was making and why and what caused the damage.

Clifton replaced the drawer glides on one drawer. Since the exact same glides were not available, he did an excellent job using what was available. Would call him again

He did a fantastic job, keeping my grass mowed all since last spring and this fall, he blew the leaves. My yard looked better.

Excellent work and communication.

Clifton "Ricky" repaired the drywall where my father had a wheelchair and damaged the corners of the doorways. Ricky then painted all the walls, ceilings and trim. We had carpet being layer so he only had 6 days to complete it. Then when the carpet was laid the carpet layers damaged the new paint on trim and Ricky came in with no extra charge and repainted the trim the other workers damaged. He was not only more reasonable then the other quotes, but we have already called him to do some plumbing repair.
