Sunny Day Building and Remodeling

I did a lot of research of remodel company options before I decided on SunnyDay. I called 3 of his recommendations and I had all 3 people share how the loved working with Joe. They shared great detail on why they picked him for their kitchen remodel. Joe and his team are reliable and hard working. Right from the start of the project the process is communicated. Questions are answered. Quality work with all facets of the remodel. His years if experience are shown in the end result. I highly recommend!!

After remodeling my whole house, I waited 25 years to take out the tub in my 50 year old condo. Joe estimated the job to be 3 days and provided an estimate. I was excited that the baths completed projects begun a year ago. Demo of the tub enclosure went well and my downstairs neighbor called about water leaking into her laundry room. When we went down water was pouring out of the main hallway smoke detector 60 feet away from the bath. Joe and his outstanding analysis and problem solving took care of the problem. The next day, she called with a leak in her guest room. Joe and his crew were fantastic while problem solving their way through working for me and my neighbor. The next day the kitchen was leaking. Sunny Day had a commitment to service that comes with a guarantee of quality work, open communications and excellent focus on progress. The crew starts early and it took two weeks, but I am ecstatic about the beauty of my new bathrooms. I provide my highest recommendation to Sunny Day because although my house had to be re-piped, Joe had his cleaning service change my house from a construction zone filled with concrete and drywall dust into a sparkling clean house ready for Architectural Digest Magazine. Sunny Day is the best and Joe does marvelous work and is knowledgeable and professional.

Project and Quoting: - Scope of work: $50K-100K kitchen remodel. Full gut of kitchen/dining room, including removal of load bearing walls, adding new windows and external doors - My very first call to Joe was returned within 15 minutes, and he did not answer because he was working a saw and did not hear it ring. With Sunny Day, your main point of contact also knows how to do all of the work. Huge benefit. - We got four quotes from local contractors. Three of the four, including quote from Joe came back very close to one another - Joe has a great attitude and his professionalism is immediately apparent. Considerate, patient, genuine, understanding. This vibe permeates his whole team. Each one of them was a pleasure to work with. Quality of work: - Craftsmanship - Excellent. All the work looked great. Strong attention to detail. When I did bring up any concern (all of which were small), it was discussed and handled quickly and professionally. - Customer service - Excellent. They arrived every day when they said they would arrive. My wife and I work from home and have two young children and a dog. They worked around our schedule when necessary and did their best to make tough living conditions as easy as possible. They were always friendly and considerate. Joe was very responsive to calls and texts, and he did his best to prepare us for the coming week of activities so that we might know how loud and/or messy things might be. - Cleanliness - Excellent. During demo, they towed in a dumpster and towed it away at the end of each day. The worksite was VERY clean at the end of each day. They did not keep tools or equipment here. They vacuumed every night. They tarped and sealed off the rest of the house every day. - Timeliness - Excellent. Each one of our contractors, including Joe, quoted 5 weeks for the reno. Sunny Day finished in 3.5 weeks. That is a testament to his team planning and organization. - Added Bonus - Joe has developed relationships with some great vendors. We had no idea what we were doing and certainly no experience with local businesses. Joe gave us excellent guidance in the planning phase and gave us great contacts for cabinets, counter tops, plumbing and flooring. We will be giving each of the vendors we used our business going forward. I am always skeptical of over-the-top online reviews. This one is sincere and rooted in facts. Sunny Day is a top-notch remodeler. Our kitchen came together just like we envisioned it. We are already talking about our next project because we know we can call someone that we trust to make it happen.

I can't say enough about Joe and his team. He was very responsive from the initial callback all the way through the project. He laid out the project and selection deadlines and finished (beautifully) on time. He is extremely detail oriented and holds his subs to high standards. They cleaned up every day when they were done and all trades working for him were very professional and trustworthy. They treated our home as if it were their own. He built a new space including a living area, bedroom and bathroom. I wish I knew him when we built, I would have loved to have him build our entire house!

I had received multiple estimates for what i needed done for my kitchen demo and remodel, but I knew from the minute i met Joe he was the one for the job. So informative, great suggestions, patient, personable and genuine. I did not want my kitchen out of commission for too long of a time because i am always in it, Joe understood that and was understanding about it and got it done in a timely manner, sooner than i thought possible, without sacrificing professionalism and attention to detail. He and his crew are perfectionists. They cleaned up at the end of each day and i feel the way they perform and what they achieve truly is a work of art!! Anytime I needed to communicate with Joe, he always answered his phone which i greatly appreciated! My kitchen far exceeded what i envisioned and without a doubt, i will hire them for future projects!

I put off remodeling because you never know if the person doing it is reliable. Our friend recommended Sunny Day Remodeling. Joe and his team did an excellent job and I had no worries about his integrity from the day we met him. Our house looks great. He really cares about his work. I originally contacted Joe and Sunny Day about building a small garage/Pool House. I later changed my plans to build a covered patio which is adjacent to the pool and gives me a cohesive space between house and pool. Resulting in better home re-sale value. I had an idea in mind and Joe took it, improved on it and built a beautiful reality. Joe and his crew are so easy to work with, Prompt, Respectful,Couteous, Professional and Driven. I could not have hired a better company. Joe stayed on top of things at all times. Project was completed in a timely manner and spot-on budget. I definately would hire Joe and Sunny Day Remodeling for future projects. 👍

We absolutely love our new deck! Joe helped us achieve our vision and stay within our budget. Work was completed in time frame promised. We had a birthday party at our house the weekend after our deck was installed and we have so many compliments! This was the first time that I had a contractor complete the work in the time frame he anticipated. Joe has a great crew who do the job efficiently and properly. They clean up everyday and do the utmost to keep the chaos to a minimum. Joe is very available and responsive to any questions and requests. I would definitely use him again and will refer him to my friends!

AWESOME, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! We hired Joe and his Sunny Day Team to do a major kitchen remodel. We mean MAJOR, as in knocking walls down to make our tiny kitchen, tiny dining and living room into a huge open kitchen-dining area. Plus taking down a railing that separated our kitchen and family room area of our tri-level home and building that into a beautiful bar that now blends the rooms together and makes it dream for entertaining. Joe was very professional. Unlike other contractors, Joe showed up to our appointment and was on time. We had Sunny Day build a small pool deck. They were efficient, and clean and completed the project in a couple of days. Quality work at a fair price. I would use them again.
