The Driveway Man, Earl Binkley, gave an estimate to do a job. He was given a deadline of 4 months. I periodically called to check the status of when the work would be done and he would either not return calls or give evasive excuses of why it was taking so long. I paid Mr. Binkley 100% of the costs up front. Mr. Binkley came out and completed a drain installation but not the asphalt work. The 4 month deadline was approaching and the work was still not done. I requested that I get a refund and he said he would return exactly half of my money. He was served with court papers and his assistant called me to set a time where she would meet me with a full refund. I am very unsatisfied with Mr. Binkley's poor service and bullying tactics.

Earl came by and provided a quote. He was ready to go right away. Unfortunatly, it rained on the day he was to start. On the next weather permittable day he showed up with a crew and did the entire job in one day. Quality was very satisfactory. He showed up on time and moved fast. It was well planned and you could tell he has been doing this for a long time. After it was done they came back the next day and added fill and grass seed around the edges of the work. A perfect job. Earl, is old school. He calls from home in the evening and during the day he's out working. All in all it was a very good project.

We were originally rained out but the crew returned the following day and completed the job. We are happy with the results. They will return next year to seal the surface.

I grade him a B overall. I thought the price was a little high. I did not get any other quotes to compare. He was here when he said he would be. He was very professional. I am using him again in the near future for another job.
