Our HVAC unit was not performing up to par, so we looked to Angie's list to find a local repair service. We recently moved to this area and figured Angie's list would be our best bet in finding a competent contractor to help us out. We found Chris from CRD Mechanical LLC, and he was a gem. He quickly established contact with us, booked our appointment, and arrived promptly to get right to work on our unit. It didn't take long before Chris did his work in identifying and fixing the problem. Along the way to completing the repair, he encountered a challenge in the reassembly of our unit. Chris troubleshot the issue and found a simple solution that saved us just over $400.00, and we were all satisfied. Chris is a superb technician, highly professional, knows his trade, and can work around the unexpected with the confidence and patience of a genuinely skilled tradesman. I have been vetting HVAC vendors for the last two years. Heater of 28 yrs. & air con. of 25yrs. Both were still working, but their end was near. I entertained a lot of vendors. All were professional, but some were over selling their product a little too much. I choose CRD Mechanical via Angi. The short is that they were recommended and vetted by Angi. They are located in Demotte and do lots of jobs in NWI. They are a very new company and not well known, but they have great ratings. So I decided to give them a try. Chris (owner) came over and evaluated my needs, listened to what I wanted, and put a system package together that is fantastic. I got everything I wanted, and his pricing was lower than the other vendors. Two days later, and I have a complete new system. I'm wondering why I waited so long. I highly recommend.

Chris is the best! I've had long term issues with my HVAC so I wanted a new service look at my system. Chris from CRD Mechanical came out, looked at my system, talked to me about several ideas and then gave my system a tune up, added some freon as needed and cleaned up everything. He is getting back to me on some additional options that I am looking at to resolve my long term issues but so far he is the best HVAC guy that I've worked with to date. 5-STARS Highly Recommended.

We have been looking for a good heating/AC company and we found it. Chris was on time, assessed and resolved our issue quickly and at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend.

It went okay, but when they left and they didn't give me the customer warranty package. I called several times and they didn't give the website where I should apply the warranty. It took days before they got back to me. Days later I found the warranty package buried under boxes and paper they left in my basement. I paid the balance in cash, they have hand written receipt on the sheet of paper I gave him, and it took me many days before they email me official receipts.

Great. They had the courtesy to call that they were going to be late but when they came they did the work efficiently and stayed til the job was done. They cleaned up after themselves too which is always appreciated
