MARK'S HEATING AC & REFRIG

It was terrible that my old furnace went out and I felt like I was impulse buying a furnace but it was below 0. Everybody from the office staff was nice. The first man who came was a technician and my old furnace was 27 years old; so I decided to replace it and they were able to come back the next day. The two guys that came were awesome. I have used them in the past for air conditioning repair and they were responsive then as well.

I had contacted other heating and A/C companies in the area for estimates on a new furnace and A/C unit, after having the A/C unit checked for any problems before the summer heat would start. That technician from Kogge's in St. Mary's Ohio, we helpful, and advised that we needed a new furnace and A/C unit because the one in the house was old and needed parts that were not manufactured anymore. So, I contacted a few reputable Heating and A/C providers in our area. However, I insisted that I did not want or need a heat pump. One provider suggested that we would save money, while another just didn't show up at all for an estimated, and by the time that company called, Mark's had already installed our new furnace and A/C units. The salesman that came to our house from Mark's was courteous and honest. He was helpful in helping me to decide which units would be best for our older home with two floors. He suggested that we didn't need a heat pump, because it would pose no savings for us since we live in a small town with natural gas heating. The price was right, and they assisted with helping us to find 0% interest for 36 months. The office staff was great. The workers that came to put in the new system were prompt, courteous, helpful, and friendly. They cleaned up any messes they made, although I offered to do that for them, and made sure our A/C unit was working on both floors of the house. I would highly recommend Mark's Plumbing and Heating to everyone!

Every year the starter would go out on my old furnce. Every year I called Marks and they would come out an replace it, say how much they didn't like those furnaces and how old mine was. I received a flier in the mail about a sale of furnaces and central air units packaged together. I called and they came and checked out the house to determine what size I would need. They found out my old furnace was about to die anyway. I went ahead and schedule the install. They had a zero percent financing opportunity at the time so I signed up for that as well. The guys were very courteous. I knew what day they were coming and felt comfortable enough allowing them to let themselves in to do the job while I was at work. They called me at work to tell me when they were done. They cleaned up their mess as well. They even did the paperwork for me to get rebates from Nipsco, the state, and on my federal taxes due to the high effeciency products that they used. I have called them back since to check on some noises when the furnace kicks on but it's not a problem with the work they did, it was a duct work issue that they tried to fix on the first call but the noise kept up so they left me an invoice telling me how much the issue would cost to fix. The team is wonderful to work with. Very nice, considerate, friendly. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Mark's Heating AC & Refrig is locally owned. They are very polite, courteous and prompt. I can’t really compare their prices as I haven’t had anybody else out for a long time.

They were really good to work with. They guy who came to check the old furnace he looks over everything. They are very honest and they tell you whether or not you need certain things done. They tell you how about long it will be before it needs to be really done if you can't get it done right away. He told me the truth that I should have had my unit checked a while ago which I could almost guarantee. They were the ones that I called when my old furnace broke. They were always prompt. They got the work done as soon as they could. If they had to run some wiring they didn't tack on to the bill and they just ran some new wiring. They had to do some readjustment stuff.
