Description of Work: Very professional! They provide exterminating on the exterior of my home, so I do not have to be available. There is always an invoice left at the door with the exact charges detailed.

Description of Work: I use Varment Guard for a quarterly treatment they call "total gold." It's great to have a technician come in and check for evidence of infestation. Their technicians have good longevity, and the same delightful young woman (Maureen) comes out every time -- SO friendly! Also, any time when ants or other insects appear, I can call and they will come out and re-treat. I also have them come out about once a year to evict birds from the holes that they have bored in my house. They have also removed chipmunks and giant groundhogs from under the deck and other places they burrow. I have used them for about five years and have no intention of calling anyone else.

Description of Work: We called Varment Guard after a referral from Mr Handyman. We needed to clean up cat urine from our subfloor. Varment Guard gave us a recipe for a solution we could make at home with basic household supplies. We tried it and it seems to have worked perfectly! It really saved us a couple hundred dollars in having to have our subfloor replaced.

Description of Work: They trapped a racoon and two opossums in my attic, and sealed up the roof.

Description of Work: An account representative came to my house promptly at an arranged time convenient for me. He was friendly and professional. He checked all areas where I found swarming termites and ants. He also checked areas and buildings outside. He suggested the Sentricon system, and a program to eliminate ants, spiders and other crawling pests. Although the representative suggested two programs to get rid of all my pest problems, his prices were too high for what I needed.

Description of Work: I have enrolled in the Gold plan and Bill comes out quarterly for prevention treatment for mice, spiders, yellow jackets, etc. This summer was "bug free". We live in a farmhouse surrounded by fields. Also my cats are unhappy because there are no mice! When I do see any activity I call and they promptly schedule a "no-charge" revisit and treat.

Description of Work: Bat got in our bedroom through a chimney around 1 am. We turned on the lights, closed the door, and called Laurie at Varment Guard as soon as they opened at 7:30 am. She was very professional, courteous, and called back within five minutes to give me a time. She also called me back to tell me the technician said to turn out the lights so the bat would calm down, thinking it was dusk. Billy arrived very promptly and did a ''grab and snatch'' on the sound asleep bat. It was a matter of moments and the bat was going back to sleep in the bag. Billy also tried to check out my chimney cap to see if there was access (but he didn't have a 40 foot ladder with him). Laurie was very helpful about our next step. Billy was helpful, and a wealth of information about bats and their habits. I don't know if the price was fair, but considering the chance of rabies, I was glad to pay it! As always, Varment Guard did a prompt, professional, and good job. I would not consider using anyone else.
