The crew was punctional. Additional stone needed to be added to stabilize driveway subbase (included in price). The attention to detail was very good: tarped asphalt truck (to preserve heat in mixtures), cleaned up everything, careful shaped and compacted the driveway edge and left no asphalt stains on abutting sidewalks and brick garage wall. These men knew how to perform the work and seemed committed to a quality job. A neighbor saw the work and scheduled his driveway for the next day.

Mr. Rowe provided an estimate and met with us to answer all questions. He advised on, and performed, some of the allied work affected by the paviing. He was super responsive and finished the job sooner than anticipated. The quality was excellent and his crew was efficient and friendly.

It was an outstanding job. They were very professional. They gave us good advice, and we followed that advice. Mike Rowe deserves a gold star! We have no complaints, an all around great job.

He gave me a price. I asked what the price would be if my neighbor and I got the same job done at the same time, which she did so he knocked off a couple hundred dollars. He came promptly to give me an estimate and he came as we had arranged. They obviously knew what they were doing.

Best job I've had in years. They filled the larger cracks with hot tar; this was the only issue. I have a fair amount of larger cracks, and it appears that they got a little impatient with this part. They filled some cracks incompletely, and looks like they rushed others, "filling" areas of the driveway not cracked. In general, however, they did a good job. The seal coating part was outstanding. A thick coat of top-quality seal coat was applied and took a full 2 days to fully dry.

His price was $1400 less than another company I looked at, and he even put an extra inch of base on the driveway. He was very responsive, arriving shortly after I called for an estimate. They did an excellent job. The driveway is even, as smooth as glass, and the entire area (including the garage floor)was left very clean after the job- no bits and pieces in the grass. They even tied the shrubs back to make sure they weren't damaged.

Rowe's price was about $1000 cheaper than two other estimates. Mike Rowe was the only one that did not push the sales pitch about "oil prices going up in a month..better get it done sooner rather than later". Mike didn't seem annoyed by the additional work that we were considering (unlike another company), some of which we went ahead and got completed and some of which we didn't. The workers were very knowledgeable, worked quickly & efficiently. They were on-time, even early, to begin work which included a Saturday. Overall, a very nice job.

Excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone. Mike returns calls promptly and even recommended companies for sealcoating after a year, which they do not do.

He said he would give estimate in writing and did not do it twice. When he did finally call with the estimate I already had choose another company.

Mike Rowe gave a prompt estimate that was lower than 3 other Angie's List Contractors. Work was done very well and in a timely manner. The workers were pleasant and did a good job of cleaning up. They came when promised, or called if rain was threatening. They did a good job at a reasonable price.

Mike Rowe showed up on time every time for the estimate, final planning, and the job. He was present at the beginning of the job and not only here during the laying of asphalt but operated the machine for the whole job. He was polite and professional. No call backs. I had four estimates ranging from $2800-$6000. I felt uncomfortable with the $2800 estimate. I've dealt with four different contractors for various large home improvements the past year and Mike Rowe was the best.

Returned calls in a timely manner; came to job site on time; worked diligently and quickly. I called about a couple of little ''pocks'' I noticed after a couple of days, and the very next morning they were on the site and filled them. That's what I call good service. Nice clean up.

Was a reasonable price and completed job in 1 day. It rained off and on for a short time that day. All the workers seemed to know what they were doing. So far everything looks good has only been down less than a week. Will have to see what time does. You might check back with me in about 6 months. As for material holding up.

I AM REAL PLEASED WITH THEM. I HAD TO GO TO WORK WHEN THEY WERE WORKING AND WHEN I CAME HOME THE FENCE WAS MESSED UP, I CALLED THEM AND THE NEXT DAY THEY CAME AND REPAIRED IT, IT WAS NO HASSLE.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB, AND WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR PERFORMANCE. WE EVEN RECOMMENDED THEM TO TWO OF OUR NEIGHBORS WHO ALSO USED THEM. THEY SEEM TO BE EQUALLY HAPPY AS WELL.
