Rick's Roofing

We used Rick's roofing to replace our roof post-storm damage several years ago. Being so pleased with the service and quality of that repair, I reached out to Rick to come over to our house to take a look at some repairs I was in need of due to a water leak in the basement. He diagnosed the water leak as probably coming from a window flashing that needed re-attached and caulked. Saying that it is such an easy fix, instead of charging me to do the repair, which I was prepared to pay, he offered free advice and instruction as well as the items needed to make the repair. It solved the problem completely - no leak at all - even with a ton of rain! I can't thank him enough for taking time from his evening, giving his advice, and giving me the supplies to complete the repair. Such generosity is hard to find these days. I will always give Rick a call, and recommend him for any roofing/siding repairs.

It went great. Their crew was very efficient. They got in and done in 1 day. The cleanup was perfect. Rick explained what was needed and why.

This was a storm damage claim and my experience was horrible. Damage happened May 1, 2016 no calls to get repaired until I called three or four times and told him I was going elsewhere then they were out within a week but it took until seven months to do the job. To this day the job is not completed the house needs siding and windows and I do not get a return phone calls nor emails and they keep telling me they have called my insurance company and the insurance company shows proof of no calls or contact.

One time well done including clean up

I called them on July 7th and left a message with his wife. He called back Sunday, July 9th and asked if he could come over then. I explained we were having a medical emergency, (my wife's mother in emergency room), and asked if he could called back on Monday. He said he would if he could. When no one called, I called him on Friday, July 14th at 1:18 PM. I spoke to him; he did not remember me at first until I reminded him he had called on Sunday during an emergency. I told him he was obviously very busy and I was going to call someone else. He said he was sorry.

His people showed up on time. He did the work quickly and on schedule. Also there were no last minute surprise charges. I was very happy with the work done.

The experience was very professional! Rick needed to replace my hail damaged roof, along with fixing poor quality roofing from previous roofer. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and clean. I would definitely recommend and hire again-thank you, Rick's Roofing!!

It was a big job, and Rick and his crew were efficient and worked hard to finish it in 3 days. Clean-up was excellent, and crew was responsive to my concerns about the landscaping.

Rick came out to bid my roof on Friday, and his crew was here bright and early the next Monday to install my beautiful new roof. His crew was polite and professional. They were fast, too! After tearing off the old roof, they installed adhesive ice and water shield in the appropriate locations, applied new felt paper, and color-matched new aluminum drip edge. They removed the "turtle" type roof vents, and installed a new ridge vent. The little extras like painting the flue pipes, installing new galvanized pipe flashings, and color-matching the drip edge to the siding trim were nice touches! The job was completed by early afternoon, and the crew did a fantastic job of cleaning up after themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend Rick- a job well-done, and a great value.

We had 3 leaks into our great room ceiling where it joined the new sun room which was done by another construction company. Rick came and diagnosed the problem and told us exactly what was needed to prevent further leaks. He and his crew were very prompt in coming to do the above listed reconfiguration and finishing. They were very professional and definitely wanted us to be satisfied with their work. The quality of work is exceptional and the clean up was great. They gave us a 5 year labor warranty. We would definitely use Rick's Roofing in the future and recommend them to our relatives and friends.

Rick said he would be out to look at the roof within 24 hours and he did just that. I quickly received a call as soon as he was done with a full explanation of what he was looking for and his overall findings. Fortunately for my family and I we did not sustain damage that required repairs. As I'm sure most consumers can relate to, I was shocked when Rick said everything looked great and there was nothing to worry about. As a consumer who doesn't know much about roofing and what "right" looks like I was sure I may be in for it. I was beyond impressed with Rick's Roofing and if my family and I ever need roofing repairs/replacement Rick will be the first person we call.

They did a quality job. They were also very timely taking care of any issues.

Rick called on Sunday to confirm that he was was coming on Monday morning. Arrived promptly at 6:00 a.m. to set up and began tearing off old roofing at about 7:00. Job was well supervised and everyone seemed to know what was expected and worked hard throughout the day. Roof is fairly steep with multiple dormers so work was not easy. Finished rubber roof and cleanup at about 8:45 p.m. Gutters were done under sub-contract with Richmond Roofing. Richmond crew of three arrived at about 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and finished in about and hour and one half. I was amazed at the proficiency of the crew. Gary and an assistant from Rick's crew came by on Wednesday evening to install the cupola. Gary did the finish work (flashing, bladder installation, cupola installation) throughout and does very fine work. A crew came out the following Monday to install the gutter shield. I was impressed throughout with the work done - from planning to completion - the crew was very well supervised, worked diligently and well throughout, and very importantly, kept us informed of what they were doing and of issues that came up. Rick also provided us with leads for other work we are planning and has agreed to compete a couple of small "work in" jobs as his schedule permits. Overall, we are very pleased with the results and impressed with the workmanship on the project.

They were prompt and efficient and they've done a really good job. Our experience with them was very good. They cleaned up their mess and we didn't have to clean up after them. I would highly recommend them.

Rick was great. Roofed the house in 1 day and it looks great. Upgraded my shinges to 3d for free. Couldn't have been happier with the service or with him.

All of it looks great. They worked with Richmond Guttering. The crew did a fantastic job. They were on time and worked very hard. They cleaned up very well. They got the work done in about five hours. Everything looks very nice. The roof is a lot better and looks better than the roof that was on my home prior. We are tremendously happy with the job was done. My husband randomly found Rick's flyer, looked good, gave him a call. I would recommend him to anybody. He personally follows up after the work is done to make sure everything is done to our satisfaction.

The man that runs the company is excellent. He has been very polite and accommodating while working with the insurance company. He has been very willing to come out when the insurance company wants to meet.

Rick helped me from start to finish with the colors and styles of roof,the cleanup was great too.

Workers arrived on time & were courteous & very professional. Would definitely rehire if we have the need.
