They finished the job in a day and the clean-up was perfect. I would definitely recommend them. They've done great work for me before and I'll use them again.

They did their best to fix the leak, but they weren't ultimately able to fix it. They spent about an hour working on it. They did high-quality work and were pretty professional and easy to work with. I would use them again.

No other outlets in the home were experiencing water flow issues. We had attempted to replace the cartridge valve ourselves, which resulted in a stripped out set screw in the shower handle. So, the first thing he had to do was clean up our mess. Upon investigation, the valve wasn't the problem, the problem was with parts that could only be accessed by cutting a hole in the wall in the adjacent room. He had to create an access panel in the wall. The technician was patient throughout the trouble shooting and repair process, and he replaced our existing plumbing with upgraded materials.

Based on Angies List, we called Justin Dorsey to check a small leak right next to the crawlspace opening below our Utility Room floor. The slow drip was keeping the area damp and was near electrical wires, so it needed to be fixed. The technician arrived during the timeframe specified and was courteous. He appears to have done good work as well. (I could easily include a picture if needed). However, when my wife called to give me the estimate of $350 to fix the problem, I assumed it was somehow going to be a much larger job than I expected. I (apparently foolishly) gave the OK, but was surprised to find that the visit was only 1.5 hours with at least 20 minutes of that waiting for the glue to dry. A 3 foot CPVC section including the elbow where the drip was occurring was replaced. Unfortunately, I must be far behind the times on plumbing material costs and labor rates these days, but $350 for this simple fix seemed extreme. (Actually it ended up being $315 after we indicated we had a 10% Angies List discount). With money tight as it is for the average person these days, hopefully this is not the standard rate everyone has to pay. Since all that was listed on our bill was something like ?replaced CPVC where leak was occuring?, I contacted the technician to see exactly what all was done - he started to explain the cost was based on a standard rate, but then his phone cut out so that ended the call. The call was not returned. An itemized bill would have helped to explain the cost. I trusted the judgment involved with the original estimate, so is it possible for a business to acknowledge in a situation like this that a job wasn?t anywhere near as difficult as originally thought and then adjust the final cost accordingly?

Punctual and convenient arrangements for work. Had trouble with slow leak on replaced water filter. Had to return a few times.

They actually arrived earlier than they initially planned (but called first to ensure it was OK ). The repairman was polite, wore "booties" to keep our carpet and floors clean, and most importantly, was very knowledgeable. The pipe supplying the water to a toilet had broken off inside the wall, spraying water all over the bathroom as well as inside the wall - which meant we had to turn off water to our entire house when the pipe broke the day before. Since he had to cut a hole in the wall to make the repair, he even gave us some tips on how to repair/cover the hole easily. We were very pleased with the work and would definitely use them again.

I contacted Justin Dorsey plumbing to make an emergency repair of a ruptured water line at my mother's home which had occurred during a snow storm and subsequent power outage. I had shut the water off to the leak so that no damage was done to the interior of the house. They came after hours, approximately 9PM. There were two plumbers, one was a younger fellow who was learning the trade and the senior plumber, who was the primary contact. The leak was in the wall behind the kitchen sink. We did have one minor setback in that the apprentice initially cut in to the wrong water line to make the repair. This was probably a good thing because they did find a "cold solder" on that line. They made the repair on both water lines and completed the job in approximately two hours. The ruptured line had actually frozen and burst due to the heat being off in the house during the snow storm. All in all the job went quite well and we were very satisfied with their promptness, cost and repair.

In the future, I would contact Justin Dorsey and request Nick Friedrich with confidence in the work. The quick response and professional manner meant so much. I am a single, older lady and the actions put me at ease. By evening, I had water again.

It was a minor job, and none of the local (madison indiana) plumbers called me back. Dorsey's called backed promptly set up an appointment at a convenient time for me the next day. I thought it was a wax ring and they quoted me about $110. The plumbers arrived right when they said they would and called me half an hour before they got there. They didn't do the four hour window thing, they set a time and got there at that time. It turned out I had misdiagnosed the problem and it was actually the hose connection to the tank that was leaking so the total cost was $92, $80 for the service call and $12 for the part. They were quick, efficient and polite. I've always done my own plumbing in the past but didn't have time to even look at this so I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and inexpensive this was even for such a minor repair.

I had a very good experience with them. They were punctual and able to do it in short notice. We were afraid the faucet was going to freeze because it wouldn't turn off.

I had called them early and I had to call them back later that day to see if they were coming because I never heard from them. He was very pleasant when he got there but I had kept waiting all day. They were nice and good. I was a little disappointed because they advertise they have septic cleaning but they outsource the septic cleaning so we had to pay for them to come out and all they did was take the lid off. Another guy came the next day to clean the septic. I would have never called them if I had known they were not doing the work. I wouldn't have paid two people to do the work. They should have been more forthright on their website that they don't do the septic cleaning. They were very professional when they got there. I was disappointed that thy couldn't really help me that day. I don't know if I would use them again. They should have been more forthright about not doing the cleaning when I called them.

It took 2 days to do all these but Nick, Tony and Zack were great! They gave me many tips on things I can do and saved me money. they were very honest about things that should be replaced or things that are still ok. Pricing and rates were very reasonable. They were very responsive to my requests. When I replaced a sink myself, the shut off valves started to leak. I called them at 9 pm and they were back by early next morning and fixed the problem. We plan to use them for all out plumbing needs in the future.

I called because my pressure tank for my well that was in my cellar was making noises when I ran the well water. Come to find out it was Short Cycling because my tank was water logged. JT was sent out to take a look. I liked JT very much. He was very informative and helpful. He explained to me that my pressure tank probably had a tear in it and had filled up as it was very heavy. He was right. He took it down and hauled it out of the cellar after draining what he could of it. He then replaced it with one of their tanks that comes with a 5 year warranty and 1 year parts and labor. JT replaced a couple of shut off valves and set it up a little differently. He then took me down to the cellar and explained how to switch from city to well water and vice versa. The tank he put in was in my opinion very pricey. But he did a good job and I think it will last a long time. Since then I have had to have my pump (Frank did this and I reviewed) replaced so I have a whole new system that should last me several years now with no worries. That's what I'm hoping for anyway :) JT did warn me of the possibility of my pump going out since my tank had been short cycling for awhile. I just had no idea what was going on or I would have had it looked at sooner. It did just a little after 5 months. He's good but I wasn't happy he was right about that one, lol.

Frank was called to perform the work on my Well on 8/21 and when he was a half an hour late I called the company. Frank called me then to let me know that he wouldn't be able to show because his wife was having contractions. That was cool, but he should have called me to let me know this. I wasn't sure how it would go as at first I had to explain my water setup in the cellar that a previous Justin Dorsey employee had set up for me. I explained how to get the well water on and how to switch it to city water. He then proceeded to run water and when the well tank never emptied I went and looked and it was on the city water instead of well water and would have ran forever. Frank is a smoker and did smoke on site, not real happy with that but he didn't leave anything on the ground for me to clean up. So, now that the bad is out of the way.... He got it drained the next day and confirmed that my well was not working any longer. He gave me a quote and started working right away. He called another employee in to help him. They worked for several hours and got the job done. It seems like he did a very good job. My pump has been working ever since. There is a 5 year warranty on it which is good and he said that the company uses very good parts. Overall I'm happy with the work and would use Justin Dorsey again as they do know what they are doing with Well Pumps.

Paul was a little late. He gave me an estimate for 3 different jobs, instead of just one overall estimate. I had him go ahead an do the washer drain. He started around 4pm or so. It was about 5:30pm and he said he had to get some parts. He didn't come back until 7:30pm. It was starting to get dark and he was digging in the yard. He didn't leave until about 10pm. He did do some excellent work, but I didn't like that he was hear so late. He was very aware of the gas line running through the yard. Everything seems to be working good now.

WE HAVE BEEN HAVING TROUBLES WITH OUR BATHTUB DRAINING SLOWLY AND HAD IT CLEANED OUT A FEW DIFFERENT TIMES OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS. MY HUSBAND WAS THINKING WOULD PROABLY HELP IF WE MAYBE HAD THE DRAINAGE PIPE REPLACED AS OUR HOME IS AROUND 60 YEARS OLD AND SEVERAL OF OUR NEIGHBORS HAVE BEEN REPLACING SOME OF THE OLD PIPING. WE TALKED WITH OUR NEIGHBOR AND HE GAVE US NAME OF THE PLUMBER THAT REPLACED HIS DRAINAGE PIPE COUPLE YEARS AGO. HE WAS WITH JUSTIN DORSEY PLUMBING. WE CHECKED DORSEY PLUMBING ON ANGIES LIST AND READ HIS REVIEWS. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THEM WE CONTACTED DORSEY PLUMBING AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND PLUMBER OUT NEXT DAY AND CRAWL UNDER HOUSE AND QUOTE US PRICE TO DO THE JOB AND WE WERE NOT OBLIGATED TO HIRE THEM IF DID NOT AGREE WITH THE PRICE. THEY DID NOT CHARGE ANY SPECIAL PRICE TO GIVE QUOTE FOR WORK OR TO CRAWL UNDER HOUSE IN THE CRAWL SPACE. THE NEXT DAY DORSEYS PLUMBING HAD A NICE PLUMBER NAMED PAUL COME TO OUR HOUSE AND HE WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSONAL. HE TOOK TIME TO CRAWL UNDER HOUSE AND THEN QUOTED US A PRICE TO DO THE WORK. THE PRICE FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS WORK REPLACING THE DRAINAGE PIPE INTO THE MAIN DRAIN WAS $300. WE THOUGHT THIS SOUNDED LIKE A FAIR PRICE FOR THE JOB. PAUL ASKED IF WE WOULD LIKE FOR HIM TO DO THE WORK TODAY AND WE SAID THAT WOULD BE GREAT IF HE WAS ABLE TO WORK THIS INTO HIS DAY. HE DID THE JOB AND WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK AND HAPPY WE FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE TO DO THE JOB AND NOT CHARE US LARGE SUM OF MONEY FOR THE WORK. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND JUSTIN DORSEY PLUMBING .

It went just fine. We used them last spring also cause our toilet was completely clogged. Back early last spring he replaced the septic line from the foundation to the septic tank. There was a lot of digging. It was muddy and cold out. He worked til 11pm to get the job done. He really came thru for us. We were more than happy to call them to replace the rest of the septic line this year. He did it quickly and professionally, just as before. I will call Justin Dorsey Plumbing any time I need the job done right!

They did the job without really having any problems. I had several plumbing things that needed to get done outside the house. So they managed to do it in good time and at a reasonable cost. The quality met my expectations. I don’t remember how much I spent on their services.

Dorsey let me set date and time for appointment. This really helped. They came when my husband was home which was a great help. The plumber explained what was wrong and was able to fix the problem. He even gave us an estimate on another project. This is the third time that we have used Dorsey for plumbing problems over the last 10 years. Will use them again.

Home inspection revealed that our water softener had not been installed correctly; the discharge line was draining directly onto the crawlspace floor (water softener was installed by a previous owner of our home). This issue needed resolved before we could close on the sale of our home. I contacted Justin Dorsey Plumbing and they were able to send someone out same day. JT assessed the situation and provided a description of the work needed to correct the problem as well as the price of the repairs. He quickly began work in the crawlspace and finished everything promptly. He was friendly, professional, and courteous. We will call Justin Dorsey Plumbing in the future for any plumbing issues!
