Critter Control of Indianapolis

They closed up the hole where the nest was built and took the baby birds to a safe location. I was very satisfied with them. They also checked a tree that was close by in the neighbor's yard.

My daughter was visiting and she heard something walking in the attic. I called Critter Control and they located the source of the problem...a raccoon. They were great and they were fast and professional. They also set another trap just in case there is another raccoon decides.. They also gave me a 10% Angie's List discount.

They are a very responsive and knowledgeable service provider.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Critter Control. No one hopes to need this service but it is good that they are available when trouble strikes. The cost was very reasonable considering what they had to do.

Everything went very well. They were very quick and responsive to me. I was very impressed with this company's prompt service.

They did an excellent job. They solved this recurring problem that two other companies could not permanently resolve. They were prompt, and very curtious and explained everything so I could understand the problem and the solution

Unfortunately, the never actually removed the raccoon. He moved himself from the attic to the crawl space. However, they did trap a opossum while at my home. I do not have the raccoon problem anymore. They also cleaned up a significant amount of insulation and debris. They said there was considerable fouling of the insulation. They cleaned out all of that and replaced it. My insurance covered this service. However, I was a little disappointed that the first part of the deal was never completed. They also claimed to have repaired a sofit that had gone soft. I later had an inspection and he revealed that the repair was temporary or poor at best. If I had been able to get up there and check it out myself, I would have felt much more comfortable if I had been able to confirm what they were saying.

Vendor responded early the next day after an evening call. Identified the problem. Took corrective action. Made follow-up calls to complete resolution of problem.

I called Critter Control on a Thrusday and told them a critter had dug a den under my front stoop. They said that since they do not check traps on the weekend, a technician would come by on Monday. On Monday, Lance called to ask if it was OK to use a lethal trap, making sure that no children would be disturbed. I agreed and on Tuesday the varmint was eliminated and the carcass removed. Lance reset and left the trap for two more days to make sure it was a solitary ground hog. Throughout, notes were left for me to tell me of the evolving situation.

I was hearing scratching noises in the attic. I knew birds had been nesting in the gutter, so I suspected they found their way into the attic. The initial inspection of the attic showed no evidence of birds, but an inspection of the roof was impossible due to a heavy layer of ice and snow. They let me know they could come back, at no additional charge, to inspect the roof and gutter line once the snow and ice was gone. By March, the activity of the birds and the noises in the attic led me to call them again. They very promptly returned and after inspection of the roof, found an entry point where the birds were entering. This area was sealed at no additional charge to me. In May, I again heard the birds trying to work there way back into the attic. I called Critter Control, they again promptly came out and discovered the birds had found another way into the attic. The only solution was to have the entire gutter line flashed to prevent any further intrusion. This did cost an additional $450.00, which I found to be very reasonable for a two-story house. They were careful not to damage any of the landscaping, wrapping around the house and cleaned up afterward. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism and service that Critter Control provided I would definitely recommend them and will use them again, if the need arises.

We called for help and they came the same day and removed the animals. Had to order the cap for the chimney so it was several days later. Also they could not go on the roof when it was raining/wet which also delayed it a day.

Critter Control completed the work in one day which normally is performed in two days. The fouled insulation was completely removed and the replacement insulation was placed uniformly to a 12 in.depth as contracted. Even though their workers experienced a rather long day, the crew did an excellent job and cleaned up satisfactorily.

Like clockwork. Critter control explained all charges up front and were prompt/professional. Additionally Critter Control does an excellent job following up on their services.

I noticed an infestation of some kind of animal in my back yard, just as we were about to leave the country for a week's vacation. Critter Control was very prompt in coming out to remove the culprits (who turned out to be rabbits), They were also very prompt in calling me to let me know what they found, Their service fee was quite reasonable.

We had noticed rodent activity in our house and called them to come out and evaluate. They sent a technician out, who showed us some spots where the rodents were getting into the house (and barn). I picked this company because of the glowing reviews they had received on Angie's List. He did say we had rats, but we were disappointed in his performance because he did not do enough to offer ongoing prevention or control, he saw evidence of other pests but did not give us any advice about them, and he did not ask or advise any future followups. We would have gladly paid more to have more interest in our problems and for him to have offered solutions to more than the rat problem.

The process took over 2 weeks, but it seems to have been successful.

Called in AM and within a few hours they came to the house and determined what needed to be done. Work done quickly and very professional.

The experience went very well. The man who came out was punctual and professional and performed the necessary means to ge tthe job finished. He inspected the inside of the attic and the outside of my house, looking for signs of animals. He came to the conclusion that there were mice. He couldn't located the area where they were coming in, but he baited for mice. We haven't heard anything since.

I called for an estimate on a Friday afternoon & received a quote to cover everything from travel to retrieval to disposal of the animal, which was located maybe two feet down from the peak of my roof (2-story house). The rep mentioned that she'd received several calls recently from customers who'd had unpleasant discoveries similar to ours when examining their homes from the outside after some heavy snows. I called back on Monday morning to schedule the service, and initially the rep (different person) gave a higher quote but she came right down to the price that the first rep had stated. Someone came out to the house that day & the raccoon was gone when I returned home.

We found we had an infestation of mice in our garage and crawl space. After seeing a mouse in the garage, we set out traps from Lowe's. We caught multiple mice in < 24 hours. We then called Critter Control, concerned that we had a larger problem. They promptly came out, inspected the house, identified the probable locations that were susceptible, put our bait, explained the process, and then - on a subsequent visit - sealed the gaps in the house that led to the mice getting in. The bait worked in a way that led the mice to leave the house and die in an external location. We have not seen any evidence of any mice after their work and feel confident in our decision to use Critter Control.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were very prompt and professional. They did what we asked them to do. I have no complaints. They stuck to their quote. I was very happy with them.

They were alright. It took several months to actually catch the critter. The techs were friendly, nice, and professional and they did what they said they were going to do which was catch the critter and take it away.

They left a trap out there and checked on it daily. When the raccoon was captured, they left it for another week to make sure that they had gotten all of them. The process was pretty straightforward. They were knowledgeable and they knew where to set the trap - they knew what they were doing. I learnt from them - I know what to do if I have a similar situation in the future. I would use somebody different every time if I had to catch a raccoon. If you drop off raccoons within 10 miles they go back to wherever they were coming from. If I had a raccoon problem again, it is more than likely that I wouldn?t call the same people because I wouldn?t know if it is the same raccoon and I wouldn?t want them to come out to catch the same raccoon a second time.

Overall, they did a good job, and their price was reasonable. It appeared what he charged was a good price, but I did not take the time to get other estimates. I just needed someone to take care of the problem quickly. If the problem comes back, I will look at this company again; along with others that I will request a quote from.
