Description of Work: Didn't do the work because they had a full schedule. I am not sure why they are even running this deal when they can't do the job.

Description of Work: I needed a portion of the ceiling in my garage replaced. The arrived as scheduled and after 15 or so minutes, they saw that the wax ring on the toilet was leaking causing the ceiling in the garage to shows signs of water damage. I went and purchased a new wax ring and they said they would have to reschedule to come back and do complete repairs. I can understand why there would be an additional charge but I did inquire as to why the remaining time I purchased (1 1/2 hours)would not be applied to their return visit. He explained the handyman deal is for 2 hours on a single visit.

Description of Work: Completed the work in a very professional manner. Hope to have Dave and Mark out again!

Description of Work: David from Apex Design is fantastic. I called on a Friday to get an estimate on a shower remodel. He had the estimate to me on Sunday. Work on the shower began on that Wednesday. Shower was completed on Monday. Great work. He follows up with any loose ends right away. I would highly recommend Apex Design!

Description of Work: I had recessed lights over the fireplace that did not work on the designated switch. These guys came in and found the problem and fixed the problem in about 10 minutes. Easy bucks for them, happy ending for me. End of story.

Description of Work: .Replaced switches and outlet. He had to go into attic to install a wall outlet. Installed new dimmer switches.

Description of Work: I asked for a refund of the big deal from Angie's List because the type of work I needed done wasn't covered under the deal. Dave Wilson of Apex provided me what I needed at and did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Left a message for David to call me regarding several small repairs. He responded that day and we discussed the projects, materials and the time required. David agreed that 2 hours of handyman services would be adequate. David and his helper came within the week at the scheduled time and worked through repairs. They were efficient, meticulous and courteous. The repairs were done to my satisfaction. Highly recommend this business and will use them in the future.

Description of Work: I contracted to have an attic fan motor replaced, an outside dawn-to-dusk photo-cell replaced and a bathroom exhaust fan installed. The fan that I had purchased did not fit the space so David told me what I would need to do to just replace the motor. He came back on another visit and finished the job. Replacing just the motor instead of the whole unit saved me about $85.00. I would definitely recommend Apex for the good service and cleanliness with which they work.

Description of Work: Replaced my ceiling fan. Took him one hour to do it. They are good. I cannot do your rating as you did not indicate which letter is and which is bad.

Description of Work: We purchased two of the "deals" to get 2 people for 2 hours (or 4 labour hours). The electrical work was to install additional HDMI cable for wall-mounted TV and hide the cords; and install six (6) ceiling recessed lights. Positive: The guy contacted me immediately following purchase and communicated well over email to ensure appointment time and supplies. They arrived on time and got all of the work completed. Negative: I was surprised that there would be no prior walk through of the work, just a list of items we needed to purchase ahead of time (luckily my husband was somewhat knowledgable, but I would not have known what was appropriate). They did not bring anything to clean up after themselves, and left fingerprints on the ceiling that we had to clean up. We have pets and small children - I was shocked that an A-rated company would not include cleaning up bits of insulation and wire on the floor. We were pretty disappointed in that sense. This was our first time purchasing one of these service deals on AL. Overall, it was worth the investment and the work was good. I just expected more from an Angie's List company.

Description of Work: These guys put in a chandelier and a dimmer switch, plus an overhead light over our kitchen island. From the moment they walked in, it was obvious these guys knew what they were doing. They were very friendly and engaging and I felt extremely comfortable with them.

Description of Work: A big deal for $99 for up to 2 Hours of Electrical Labor! They removed and replaced a ceiling fan in a vaulted ceiling.
