Description of Work: Installed light switch dimmer and replaced all ceiling fixture bulbs with energy-related bulbs. Originally planned on installing a motion-sensor external light but I didn't have all necessary materials to complete the job. So the tech did all these misc things which I really appreciated.

Description of Work: Replaced light fixtures, replaced bathroom hardware, and hung wall hangings.

Description of Work: repaired clothes drier by installing a new heating coil

Description of Work: Put up rack to hand rakes, shovels, hose, etc. Also put up small rack to hang brooms, etc. Attached brackets to hang Am flag but bracket was pulled out of brick during high winds. Did not call them because directions said to take down flag during high winds and I failed to do that.

Description of Work: i will not use them again came out and seemed to fix problem with electricity. Two days later the power went off again.

Description of Work: The Pros: |- Arrived within the window they gave |- Installed outlets and fixed a switch that wasn't working | |The Cons: |- Didn't listen well to my directions, installed 12 outlets instead of 6 |- Lacked attention to detail: the outlets work but aren't level with the other ones in the room or with each other; they installed the cable outlet at least 4in above the already too high outlets so everything looked crooked |- When they added the new outlets they didn't connect all of the wires back together so they cut the power to one half of the room. My husband and I noticed it that night, called Apex, and they came out the next day to try to figure it out. My husband stayed home with them this time and they spent two hours insisting that the outlets must be broken or something shorted out, there was just no way they could have caused the problem. My husband had to be the one to point out the loose wires and they eventually agreed that they probably didn't connect something. By that point the 2hr service window was almost up and my husband connected the wires himself so Apex could leave for the next job. | |All in all, they technically did what we asked (with the exception of cutting the power in the front of the room) and they did respond immediately when we called with an issue. I'm sure they probably would have leveled the outlets if we had complained but it wasn't worth the effort. My husband just unscrewed them from the studs and made them level. I won't be using Apex again.

Description of Work: The person that came out was wonderful! He has been back to do another job already. They did the job quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: I installed an outlet in a crawl space

Description of Work: They performed handyman services for two hours. The work was satisfactorily performed

Description of Work: They hung a storm door. I've had to readjust it because there were air gaps and what good is a storm door if it doesn't shut properly. The handle was broken and they said it came out of the box like that, but on closer inspection, it looks like it was accidently cut with a saw, not broken. At least they got it up

Description of Work: Put up satellite dish

Description of Work: Rebuilt older bath, replaced all walls, ceiling, moldings, fixtures, some electrical wiring and tile floor. Painted as required and stained moldings to match as closely as possible. Dave and entire crew did a thorough and careful job at a reasonable price. As a separate job at the same time installed laminate flooring in living and dining rooms - wife loves it!

Description of Work: Replaced existing cedar siding with Hardy Plank fiber cement board, painted new siding and trim.

Description of Work: The day the service proivder was to come out and provide services, they called and advised me that their truck broke down and they wouldn't be able to do work today. I would like a refund and to purchase a alternate BD.

Description of Work: Remodel 50 square feet master bathroom. Had to replaced toilet area from water damage which added to cost of Angie'S BIG DEAL and replaced all wall drywalls for complete smooth finish and addition 24 square of tile. The job was complete in little over two weeks.

Description of Work: Installed electrical wiring to spare bedroom for ceiling fan. Fixed circuit breaker.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's list deal for 2 hours of electrical service for $99. The owner contacted me by email within 2 days to schedule the service for the following week. The electrician, Jason, arrived during the scheduled window and quickly repaired the electrical wires that were causing my a/c unit to malfunction. He had time to install an outdoor outlet for us and give us some consultation on some future electrical projects we have in mind. I will definitely use Apex Builders again.
