they were awesome...on time..always kept me informed..cleaned up...everything is done so well..professional..very reasonable(example installation of moulding..this company $230, i received another quote from a different co for $350)

I had some phone call and emails conversations with Apex DesignBuild, Inc. about possible late-in-the season projects and each time I was treated nice and friendly. Consequently, I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal, $59.00 for two man-hours, and the next day Apex DesignBuild, Inc's Dave Wilson called me. Two days later, he and another fellow came to replace twelve cedar-siding boards, and if they had any time left over they would continue working for me until they fulfilled the two man-hour commitment. They were able to come that soon because they were driving though my area on their way to another job. They called before they arrived and I had the supplies ready for the job. Dave Wilson used his saw to cut the boards to the proper length and he used my nails and painted boards. I even asked his helper to add some extra nails on other boards around my door. He finished nailing the boards while Dave and I began to install a type of crawlspace vent that Dave had never seen before. Dave worked on the outside while I worked in the crawlspace and together we devised a method to fit the vents without disturbing the cedar siding. The two projects were completed quick and easy with five minutes to spare. The amount of work done in the amount of time was better than what I imagined. I grew up in the construction trade and pride myself on doing my own work; even so, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Apex DesignBuild,Inc. for more house projects because the money was well-spent!

Dave was great. He was very busy the day of the appointment, and let me know the night before that he would likely be running late (and I told him it would not be a problem). When he arrived, he put on foot booties and got straight to work. He was extremely fast and efficient and got everything done within the allotted time frame. He cleaned up afterwards. The sink, mirror, and light look great. He was very professional as well. Great handyman.

He was very good and showed up on time. He did the work and cleaned up and there was nothing to complain about.

The installation of the line went very well, and they had time left over to install the microhood, also. They arrived on time, wore booties in my house, and cleaned up the mess when they were finished. They were also very polite. I would recommend David Wilson and Apex Designs for anyone needing to have electrical or handyman work done.

The entire experience went very smooth. The guys that did the work, (one being the owner) were very prompt and did a great job for me. I have a new house and didn't like the placement or the light that the builder put in above my kitchen table. David Wilson and his employee took the light out and moved the placement of the new light. They were very polite and did a great job for me, honestly I couldn't be happier with it. I will definitely refer them to anyone I know and I would be happy to use them again, great job!

David with Apex Design was responsive, prompt, honest and did excellent work. Replacing our chandelier presented challenges that David was able to locate and resolve. He even found problems with our wiring that other handymen did not find. I plan to use David again and highly recommend him.

The electricians who came to your home were very professional. He explained what he was going to do, and performed the work in a timely mannger. We are very pleased with what was done, and plan to have them do other work for us. Would definitely recommend if you are in need of electical work.

I had sent an e-mail to David Wilson on a Friday night and he sent a reply on Saturday. I responded back to him on a Sunday and he responded back to me on that same Sunday which totally caught me off guard. I was trying to see if the coupon could be used to run power to a shed. David was very knowledgeable and up front about how intricate the job would be. At the end of interaction David offered me a free estimate. I declined because I am looking into to doing the project next Summer. I didn't expect such great service from them especially on a weekend.

David from Apex Design was fantastic. I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal to have a ceiling fan installed on an 18 foot ceiling. I was hoping he could fit in some extra time to install a couple of speakers on the same ceiling. David came out, very well prepared with a 16 ft ladder to get the job done correctly. He asked the necessary questions up front to make sure everything went smooth when he arrived on-site. When in the house, he and Mark (his helper), covered their shoes and were very respectful of my property. They did a great job with the installation of the fan and both speakers. I had a pay a bit more since I went over my 2 man-hours but he still honored the pricing for the Angie's List Big Deal! I would definitely recommend David's services to anyone.

I purchased a Deal of the Day to have some electrician jobs fixed around the house. The owner contacted me very quickly and I was scheduled for just a few days later. They were on time and came ready to get to work. They fixed everything and were very professional. They even located and fixed a potentially dangerous problem (a light fixture hanging over a desk had pulled away from the ceiling and was dangling dangerously) that we hadn't noticed! I was very very impressed and would definitely call them again. Great work! The required work I had for them took longer than the amount of time for the coupon I had purchased but they prorated their hourly rate for me in order to finish up. Again, handled professionally and fairly.

He was quick and efficent and would hire him again.

I was very impressed. David contacted me immediately after I had purched the Big Deal and scheduled the work for just a few days later. We had an 8am appointment and he was here a few minutes early.When we first spoke we discussed the work that I wanted done and from that he brought all of the material that was required with him. His time charges were only for the time he was here working. David is a very nice, pleasant and skilled young man and I would definetaly use him in the future as he does other handyman chores as well.

He arrived punctually, assessed the job and competently set to work. He had the lights installed in a very short time -- I was quite impressed with how quickly he was able to accomplish the job. And his cleanup was fantastic -- when having holes cut in the kitchen ceiling and dust and insulation falling down it could have been a task left for me. But, he did a terrific job.

Couldn't be happier. I will definitely use his services in the future.

I purchased a Deal of the Day for 8 hours worth of handyman services. Apex responded promptly to my purchase and worked with me to figure out a day and time that I needed the services completed by. They performed everything, including purchasing the materials (for an additional fee), within the requested time and everything was done with high quality.

Excellently! David began by first saving me money on supplies I purchased. He explained in a clear and easy to understand fashion that what I bought (labor only job purchased through the Big Deal) was not appropriate and was too much for the job at hand. He also took time to point out that it may be dangerous for the job. It was fantastic that he took time to educate me about this. He did so pleasantly and in a very positive fashion. He followed up on the progress of his employee, then they hit a snag. The drill bit they were using was not long enough to drill through my double brick exterior and the 4" thick base plate. He ran down the road and got the tool needed at the hardware store and completed the outside, his employee continued progressing while David was gone (10 minutes). they completed the work, sought my approval, tested the new outlets and cleaned up all their work areas and left once I got to double check all the work areas. I would recommend this company for any and all future work.

David arrived on time and started to work immediately. He replaced our garbage disposal along with replacing two bathroom faucets. He had me check out his work before he left and cleaned up all of the trash before he lift. He did a great job.

Overall David did a great job and we have not had any issues with the work done. Dave went above what was needed by assisting in installing a backsplash and fixing an electrical outlet. I really like that fact that he charges by the hour and not by the job. When he first arrived he mentioned if he got done sooner he would deduct it from the estimated cost. We will be working with David on future repairs and/or installations (kitchen countertop/sink).

I purchased 8 hours of handyman time through an Angie's List Big Deal. They showed up 20 minutes before the appointed time and went right to work. One concentrated on the outside carpentry and deck repairs while the other did the rest of the needed jobs. They had all the needed tools and miscellaneous supplies so there was nothing that I needed to supply of that nature. I supplied only the major items like the toilet, cedar 2x2's, gutter shields, and paint which was to be expected of course. They worked non-stop and completed all tasks requested. They even stayed a little over the time I purchased in order to finish the painting. They did excellent work and were very courteous. They cleaned up all of debris and disposed of all trash, They were a pleasure to work with. I would most definitely use them again.

David came out and looked at the bathrooms. We discussed what we wanted done. David sent us a list of all the materials we would need to purchase. Then we scheduled the time for the remodeling. David and Mark showed up on time every day. They worked continously on the bathrooms. David worked in one bathroom and Mark worked in the other. They worked from the time they got to our home until the time they left. It took them 3 full days to complete the project. They cleaned up the areas every day before they left. We were very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

The service was great! They were responded quickly and worked through the entire holiday weekend.

It went flawless Apex and their workers were very courteous, kept their work area clean, like we didnt even know they were there. I love my new tile floors....
