Apex Design Build

I was very happy with the end result of all the projects and greatly appreciated how well he worked with me and handled all the concerns we had to get it right. The ceramic tile work was especially challenging and he had a lot of patience and gave good advice. The carpentry was done beautifully to provide shelves in a an old tv area to match the shelves on the other side. they were professional and very neat, cleaning up everything afterwards.

They did a good job. They were punctual, upfront with everything and fast.

They finished what I had them come out to do and I am going to have them come out to do some more work for me. I had already purchased the cabinets; they put some floor organizers in.

They did four hours of electrical work. They were fine. I may have them do some other stuff for me. They were polite and they did whatever I asked which was good. I had a question about a sticker that left in the lamp. They went out, got the ladder and checked it for me. It was a sticker inside the lamp that I would have been able to get it as that was up like 15 feet. They were professional.

They were pretty good and they did a good job. They were punctual. They cleaned up. It cost about $100 for 2 hours of work.

I got two Angie's Deals for Apex Design Build/ Fiber Cement Siding. We probably didn't understand exactly what the deal was. We thought it was the electrician coming in for two hours for $99.00 is what the special was. When he and his partner came in, they charged us for two electricians for a total of four hours. He was here and had to leave for a few hours and then came back and finished the job. We weren't overall impressed with that deal. People should make sure they totally understand what the promotion actually is and what it covers. Their overall workmanship was good.

They were very prompt and were out of here exactly 60 minutes and on to their next appointment. They were very good communicators and I think conscientious recommendations on some other things that I needed to do.

I took advantage of the BIG DEAL offering for two hours of an electrician for $99. When he came out for the BIG DEAL appointment he got most of the work done in the two hours time slot. But I needed a couple of more items from the hardware store for the electronic timer installation. We scheduled more time later in the week and he returned and finished the job. He was very professional and the job looks GREAT.. As with all the Angies' list companies that I have used that have multiple super service awards they work very well with the customer to be sure the job done is satisfactory.

We needed four additional electrical outlets in our home, so we hired Apex Design Build on the basis of its Angie's List recommendation and Big Deal. We were very happy with the work. They were on time, friendly, and performed the work exactly as we requested. They did the work cleanly and neatly, even vacuuming up plaster dust when they were finished. We were very happy with the finished work.

The expereicnce was excellent and I will use him in the future. There was a bit of an error regarding communication. However, they were willing to rectify the situation. They came right back out and answered all my questions. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to ensure the quality of their service.

Showed up on time and completed work in an efficient and professional manner. They did a great job.

Came out to install gas fitting for grill. I supplied the parts and they had the job done in quick time. While they were here I had them on another project that was quickly done. They were great to use, fair, efficient and would certainly recommend and use again. Thanks!

Top notch people who worked hard the entire time they were here. Both were knowledgeable about electrical problems.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal. I had an 8:00am appointment and the doorbell rang exactly @ 8. Had an exterior security light installed. I furnished the fixture and the connecting wire. Dave had no problem with that arrangement. During the installation, Dave was very particular that the appearance of the security, its wiring appearance and attachment were as seamless as possible. The result is perfect! I have absolutely NO negative items about the service provided and would recommend and have recommended him to others. I will use him again when the need arises in the future.

He was very nice about it when I called. He had other work he was doing and I explained I was up against a deadline. He said there was really no way for him to be able to meet my deadline and advised me to get a refund.

Dave and his assistant, Mark, did such a good job we had them return to some additional electrical work this month. We are very pleased.

Dave and Mark did a great job. Everything was done efficiently and they both stayed busy the entire time they were in our home. The custom fabricated breakfast bar in our kitchen turned out great and is a great addition to our home.

They were very professional and punctual. They replaced 3 light fixtures and tried to install ductless bathroom exhaust vents. Due to inconvenient construction issues they were not able to replace and install new vents. It was not their fault because it was not possible to remove the old vents that were bolted to the rafters. Due to a low profile roof it would have been a very difficult project and more costly than I was anticipating. So they were very helpful in making suggestions and I will definitely use the again for some other lighting projects and perhaps some flooring as well. I really liked this company and well definitely use them in the future.

He did a 45 minute look at the house and told me he would not be able to work in the condition of the house and to get a refund from Angie’s List.

The overall experience was worth an A rating. It took a couple of days to get service scheduled but after that everything went very smoothly. David came out with a coworker and had my problem figured out in only a few minutes. (Some wiring behind a switch was faulty) There was so much extra time that I asked him to perform another project, installing a hanging lamp in the master bedroom. This caused the appointment to go on past the allotted time by about half an hour. David and his coworker were professional and didn't mind explaining what work was being done or why. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and I'll be calling back shortly to have some more work done. The only practice I'd recommend for Apex is to make sure the customer knows that they will be charged for the extra time, and how much their rate is. I ended up paying an additional $60 for project completion. (2 workers / half an hour each)

Apex arrived on time (2 men). When I explained what I wanted, they came up with solutions. We were wanting to install under cabinet lighting ourselves on existing cabinets; we wanted the outlets hidden so that we could hide the cords coming from the lights, The electricians installed one outlet in a closet on the other side of a wall. The other outlet is hidden inside a cabinet. They created exactly what we wanted. They were very professional, and they made sure the work was high quality.

Job was completed properly and on time.

This was seemingly easy work and I'm glad I hired David because it was not easy (for me). I have an older home which usually means custom everything and this certainly applied here. They showed up early, they were very professional, and they exceeded my expectations. It turns out they had to revamp the door frame for this particular door to fit correctly and it does. They'll be back for other projects soon. If you want no non-sense, great work, and punctuality, call these guys.
