Good Job. Fast and professional job.

Between first contact with Apex and Mr. Robson, who provided the first estimate, was less than a week, which was much appreciated. Two professionals completed the work in one day and replaced the rotten wood and repainted the replacement material and added a wrap to prevent future damage inside. I was unable to be on site during the day they did the repairs but they did the work and cleaned up the area very well without any further needs from me. The front of the house now looks better than it ever has and I feel confident I will not have to worry about this being an issue in this location in the future.

The project was completed in approximately four days. The workers were very professional, and the work exceptional. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

They were excellent. We ended up using 2 people for 4 hours. They were prompt, polite and the work was outstanding. I was happy with the results that they did. The cost was entirely reasonable.

I came home for the first time since the repair and the clothing rod was on the floor again, so whatever they did to repair it, was only a temporary fix. When the came out to repair it, they had sent me to Home Depot to find something for them, but when I returned, they had already left and the clothing rod was hanging up again. I was not impressed with them at that time. But now that I'm coming back to the home again and see that the same thing happened again, it's clear that the clothing rod was not properly anchored into the wall. This was the second time that I had used them. The first time I used them, the owner was the one to come out and he was a great. This time, it was two other guys and I was not impressed. I really wish that the owner had come out again. I would not use this provider again unless they fix this issue. I don't come back to this home very often and I don't know how long my clothes and everything have been laying on the floor with the rod on top of them.

It was okay. They did what I needed them to do. There was no additional cost except for the price of the materials. The quality of the work was good. I felt like he didn't use his time wisely. He spent a significant amount of time away from the house to get the materials.

They were nice and professional. However, I didn't realize that the 2 hours for $100 special meant that we'd have 2 people coming for 1 hour each. Apparently this was in the print somewhere, fine or otherwise, but the thought never occurred to me. I mean, if you buy 1 hour of legal services from a law firm, you don't expect 2 lawyers to show up for 30 minutes, or 4 lawyers to show up for 15 minutes. This was especially distressing because we weren't sure exactly what we needed an electrician to do in the first place. If I was doing this again, I would only accept on condition that they send one person for 2 hours.

Very professional and the contractor was on time, did the work promptly, even installed a second light for my daughter's bedroom because there was some time left. Would highly recommend!

Bought an AL deal, contacted Apex and they were able to come out when we wanted. The guys that came out were very friendly and professional. They did the work and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again, I was very satisfied.

Completed in a very timely manner, very clean and professional. Doors have been installed for almost a year now and there have been no issues with leaking. Would definitely use these guys again. Thanks, Tom

I'm very happy with the work Apex did. Overall, I feel like I got a tremendous value. I say that for the following reasons: Bidding Process - I received quotes from 5 different siding companies that all had excellent reputations for James Hardie jobs. My top priority was quality, price was of course important but secondary. I did not want to mess with siding problems for at least 15 to 20 years or more after this job. I had been plagued by warping and rotting of the old T-111 on my house and it was very expensive and time consuming (hiring pros) to patch. Apex got the reside job because they were the only company that quoted me a full James Hardie replacement, the price was great (10-20% below the competition), and even their competition verified Apex was a well known experienced James Hardie installer. I believe everyone I spoke with knew who David Wilson was. All of the other companies tried to compete with Apex using James Hardie alternatives in other areas or leaving things out. When I asked for an apples to apples comparison to Apex, I got some reduced prices, but no one would match Apex's price. That made the decision to hire Apex easy because I had as much or more confidence in David Wilson and Apex as I did in any other company. My wife and I drove around and looked at Apex's work on other homes. Although we did not see a lot of variation, we both agreed the homes Apex worked on consistently looked fantastic. Also, David was very pleasant to talk with and did not use high pressure sales tactics at all. He was a bit too technical at our first meeting (partly because he was the first person I met with), but he seemed like an actual expert rather than just a salesman. Product - The crew showed up on the first day and they were there every day except rain days and scheduled days off. They cleaned up every day and were gone by the agreed upon cut off time. Overall, a very reliable work crew. The tear off and siding went well with nothing really worth noting. I did have a few concerns that I had to direct to the foreman, Isis, who was not always there. I basically learned these guys really know their stuff when it comes to James Hardie. I had printed out all of the James Hardie instructions before the job began. When I asked questions about the install, they taught me what they were doing was exactly per James Hardie instructions, and I was confident in the answers I received. The crew were all trained at a James Hardie school and had lots of experience. In the end, there is not a single item that was not completed to my satisfaction. The foreman was highly concerned that I was happy with everything. I feel a little guilty about some of the nitpicking I did, but they were happy to perfect every detail. It seemed obvious they rely on good referrals, so I am happy to give them this positive review. Also, the Sherwin Williams consultant was very helpful. The colors are exactly what we were hoping for. If I had to do over again would I hire Apex? Absolutely, my house looks amazing!

Will not be getting any work here, and will be requesting a refund from Angie's List for the Big Deal. I don't want to deal with a contractor who is rude and condescending to his customers. Now I am back to looking for an electrician as I have multiple projects that need to be completed, and this "test" buy was an absolutely awful experience.

They did work for me twice. The first time it went well. I was just disappointed the second time and I won't use them again. The first time my job was relatively small and I had hoped they would just send one person out. The second guy is a helper and he doesn't necessarily know what's going on, so they went over and I had to pay more and I didn't feel like I would have needed to have. The next time they came out I was having two ceiling fans done and the electrician finished on time, the second guy did not. I was charged for both of them the whole time and I didn't think that was right. The quality of work was fine but in terms of the billing, I feel like if they weren't happy with the rates they put on there they shouldn't put it on there versus figure out a way to get more money when they are out. Each fan that they touched I had to hire a painter to come in and fix what they did.

I decided to go with someone else.

Chris was very professional. I asked a lot of questions about electrical appliances and he answered so that I could understand. He completed the work I needed in a timely manner. He is a good employee.

Apex Design Build project execution was unacceptable (poor communications, poor scheduling of project, not helpful in materials selection, didn’t even return to view finished “product”; other contractors installed counter top and shower glass.

They were exactly on time! Of course the fan I had picked out 2 years ago didn't exactly fit, so the guys gave me an option to use it our get a larger one. I explained I had it for 2 years all ready and needed dry wall work done in the bathroom anyway. They were very kind and understanding and placed the new fan, checked and double checked all was working well for me. Then cleaned up after themselves. Because the fan and my attic access and other issues with the house (that I am well aware of and expectant of) they did have to stay over a little, but they were quick and efficient with what they had to work with. I was pleased,

We had two gentlemen come out to do a few repairs. They were on time and extremely professional. The light fixture they installed was a little tedious to put together due to the location and number of pieces but they replaced it in record time and was very very thoughtful and prepared when it came to protecting/securing the work area and its surrondings. I really appreciated that they took the time to explain what they were going to do, how they were going to do it. They took the time to put matts down and ensure nothing got dirty or messy. The owner was exceptional, however, he had some employee issues he had to deal with. He dealt with just fine, but, that is the reason he got a "b" instead of a "a" on professionalism.

The contractor was about 45 minutes late, I called to inquire about his whereabouts just as he showed up. It wasn't a problem, I was just making sure he was going to make it for the appointment as I had an appraisal scheduled later that same day. The initial job was to just have 3 shutters re-attached on 2nd floor windows. I thought I had all the necessary parts needed (shutters, matching vinyl screws, construction adhesive), but he recommended I get some concrete anchors/screws. So while I went to Lowe's, I had him work on a different project, replacing a bathroom faucet on a pedestal sink, with my husband's assistance. After picking up the shutter hardware (and some items for the faucet project), I was back home within 30 minutes. He was well into the faucet project, but it seemed to take longer than I expected. After almost 3 hours of working on the sink, he advised of an issue with the drain pipe leaking, made a recommendation on a part needed and started the shutter project. It took about an hour on that project. The metal concrete screws/washers don't match the shutters, and two of the shutters aren't fully/securely attached, but I think I can fix those problems myself. The total time was 4 hours, so he calculated my bill based on that. I felt awkward telling him that I had prepaid for 2 hours using the Angie's List promo (I would have thought his management would have let him know beforehand). He gladly made that adjustment to the total and I paid him cash for the additional 2 hours. Overall, the experience was good. He was courteous and knowledgeable. I would do business with Apex again, using one of these deals. Next time, I would probably confirm appointment times and project needs with the company a day before to ensure I was prepared and wasn't in a time crunch.

The provider did not check the stove to see whether he was installing an outlet that would work. The plug needed to be recessed into the wall, and all the provider did was install a flat outlet. The plug still didn't work for the stove we had and we ended up returning the stove.

It went very well. I was asked to have my supplies ready and the job went quickly.
