 + -1 moreI feel that they used a cheap lock that is no longer serviceable. My cats have gotten out and when I called them to fix the work, they said that there would be a fee to come out again since it's over 90 days

Description of Work: Completely took advantage of my wife. Came to the house, took 2 hours to come to the conclusion that he couldn't fix the problem. Then he told my wife it would be $95 dollars just to come out and then another $ 95 per hour. He then demanded payment on the spot. Very dishonest. We were not told of prices beforehand. Lawyers make less an hour. In addition he was rude to my wife. Would never recommend.

 + -1 moreVery poor salesmanship. I physically took a lock to their location to ask what was needed to fix it. I was told that this type of lock was no longer made by anyone. It is a mortise lock with a thumbset. I went home and checked on the internet, and found that all I needed was a thumbset, but they did not have the color I needed. I went to Menards, found the entire lockset on sale for less than $50...which was less than the cost of hiring Phil and Son to come to the house. I purchased the lockset and replaced it myself. Viola! Problem solved.

 + -1 morePHIL AND SON DID REALLY HIGH QUALITY AND FAST WORK. THE COST WAS IMPRESSIVE, AND THEY SHOWED UP ALMOST RIGHT AWAY TO DO THE JOB. I'VE TOLD MOST OF MY FRIENDS ABOUT THEM.

 + -1 moreI GUESS FAST WOULD BE THE WORD I WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE THEM, AND THAT'S GOOD BECAUSE I HAD LOCKED MY KEYS IN WITH THE CAR RUNNING. THE NO GAS LIGHT WAS ON AS WELL.
