The installers arrived when scheduled and the work was done in a reasonable time frame and very prof ssionable.

Very polite and professional crew. They knew what they were doing. There was a slight snag during the final check of the generator due to the manufacturers wiring error. They corrected the manufacturers wiring problem and stayed until I was satisfied. It took them extra time but they didn't complain and said they would stay until the job was completed to my satisfaction!

Very professional, reliable. Everything is not completed as this is a bew home. So far things hasve been great.

It went fine at my home for initial interview. Problem arose when I was emailed the proposal we discussed in my home. The contract had a higher fee in it and the warranty was off by 2years!! Certain additional fees were not even mentioned to me. Phone conversations did not help resolve the disputed contract. Owner had no intention of doing the right thing. His agenda was very clear!! And my agenda was not to be lied too. I found too many discrepencies. Think twice before calling this company. I was seriously disappointed. I'm sure his rebuttle, if given, will be different but for me it does not matter. I have since found a very honorable Co.

We have a home generator that runs on natural gas. It needed some work and they were really great about it. They were very nice people, professional with a sense of humor and we would definitely use them again.

They showed up at 8:15 am (appointment was for 8:30-9:00 am) Prior to the appointment we were told this would take 5-6 hours. They were completely done by 11:15. They placed the unit, installed the gas service, installed and configured the transfer switch, tested the fail-over and fail-back, checked all pilot lights in the house and gave an overview of the operation of the unit and there 24/7 service agreement. All in all, we could not have asked for a better experience. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a stand-by electrical generator system.

Installation team was punctual and professional in appearance and attitude. Polite and knowledgeable in the generator I had purchased.... explained each phase of the install process and took the time to explain how the generator operates when the line power goes out and should I need to encouraged me to let them know if I had any further questions or concerns about the unit..... was impressed with their excitement to have me as a part of their Generac customer base..... Not so great. They advertise 24hr service availability but when I called at approximately 10PM I didn't even get the courtesy of a phone call. When I did get ahold of someone the next day I was told that that all calls couldn't be answered because it was too much trouble I guess their 24 hour service is just a figment of someones imagination.

I sent a request on NWI web site for an estimate for a generator. I was contacted the same day. Was very polite and attentive to my requests. He indicated he would visit the house after I explained where the generator would be located. Called back in two days, we discussed the project and he said he would have a quote the next day. I have NEVER heard from him again! I tried calling and got an answering device. I wrote him on his web site. Still no response.

As we are experiencing an increase in electrical power outages due to storms and other events in our area, we decided to purchase an emergency electrical generator. After shopping around we selected NWI Generator out of Crown Point, IN. We called for an appointment, and met with Chris Dines to discuss the project. Chris showed up right on time, and led us through a very thorough presentation of emergency generators in general, and Generac in specific. Both professional and friendly, he was very well versed about his products and he answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. We negotiated a contract for a whole home system, set a installation date, and gave Chris a deposit. Installation day arrived, and Chris with his two associates, Earl and Daniel, arrived right on time set to work. From start to finish it was a truly professional install. They were friendly and congenial, willing to explain what they were doing as each phase of the project progressed, and actually finished ahead of schedule. They very nicely cleaned up the area, and then gave us a detailed mini-lecture on the operating instructions and various automatic features of the unit. We concluded the billing, and when they left, we felt much more secure and ready to face the next storm(s) with respect to power outages. If anyone finds one's self in need of an electrical generator or an electrician in general, I highly recommend Chris Dine and NWI Generator. Thanks Chris, Earl, and Daniel.
