It turned out very well. We used them for roofing. It was a couple of years ago. I don't recall the price. I remember it was fair. The experience was good. They did the job in a short amount of time. Eleven guys came out to do the job. I would rate them top marks. They cleaned up after themselves. The price was in line with the other quotes I got.

It went fine. The man who came out seemed to be thorough and his presentation was fine. The one thing that stood out about him was that he sat there and said that he cannot give me a written quote because it was on his iPad and he has to email it to me later. So, I could not look at it right there and he was like, "Well, later." And so I said, "Well, why can you not just email it to me now?" And he was like, "Oh well, yeah. I guess I could do that." Well then, he did that and I printed it out and I was surprised that he did not offer to, "Okay, I can email it to you right now so we can look at it together." But he was on time.

They gave a good estimate, and I didn’t get much follow up after that. I don’t know if it was probably because they knew that I was going to be a bit or something. Everyone was nice enough. They called and made an available appointment for them to come and look at my house. They came out on the day they were supposed to. With regard to the quote, they were all within the same realm. The quote was maybe $1400 to $1600. The quote was reasonable and fair. Everything was fine. With regard to responsiveness, they were perfect. They did what they said they were going to do.

I did not use them. Their quote was fine, but the price was just too much; we're not going to pay that much.

The service consultation was very thorough. Install date was postponed due to weather, which caused a schedule conflict for me, which was no fault of M&Ms. Only one small adjustment had to be made after the install, and it was promptly made.

I took the M&M contract for $662 with me to work and asked the Director of Facilities to review the contract. He told me he thought the contract was very high to replace one missing shingle. He also noted, as did I, that the contract was not itemized indicating labor costs, materials costs, etc. He suggested I call and ask for the breakdown of the $662. Long story short, I called M&M 4 times between May 25th and June 10th with no response. I finally called another company to repair my garage roof. They did so at a cost of $150, which included the remaining shingles in the bundle to use in the future. On June 17th I wrote a letter to the President of M&M explaining the events of the past several weeks. I asked for my $331 to be refunded to me. On June 21st I received a call from a "representative" of M&M (i.e. not the President). Again, long story short, after several phone conversations where I explained that I tried to work with M&M and get the detail of the $662, but no response and requested my money be refunded, I was told that their policy is to deduct $$$ for "processing. I did receive a partial refund of $264.80 on July 5th. M&M withheld $66.20. I understand that mistakes happen, but I also teach and train "service recovery" in my work world. For $66.80 M&M lost a good customer. I will never use M&M again, nor will I recommend M&M to my friends, family and colleagues.

It's a very professional company. I had one other roofing company that actually compliments M&M for the quality of their service. So, that was actually was the deciding factor. He came in and he was very clear and concise. He tells the step-by-step of what is going to happen. He was in and out, he made sure that I had copies of what I needed. They are very up-to-date with our technology. He came here and was prepared to give me a copy of the actually estimate. He took care of that immediately. He did follow-up with me. I was actually the person who was behind on my timelines, but he did call to follow- up, and his office also calls too to make sure that there wasn't any issue. Seeing as how I said I was going to make a decision and they just wanted to say if there was problem. They have an established reputation. Roofing is their specialty.

On the initial visit, they sent the wrong person out, who was just a roofer. He explained he only did roofs and that he would speak with the office and get back to me. Without notice, a woman from the company came out and when I showed her the work, she said she doesn't do that type of work, as she was an interior decorator. She said she would go back to the office and explain the situation. They then called me to set up a new appointment and I said my project has been explained (3) times to the office and they did not get it right and that I would find another company. The interior decorator then called back and said she can help with the dog door but could not assist with the roof. I then received another call from the woman in the office who was calling to ask if I had an appointment scheduled for that day, which they in fact, should've known. Don't call or hire M&M, as it was a big pain to deal with them and they are very un-organized.

They were a good outfit, they were quick and efficient. They came at 12:30 and quit at 4 and had the whole roof off. They came back the next morning and had the roof on by noon. They were well trained at what they did, they didn’t goof off at all. There were no problems at all, they couldn’t be any better.

I called to make an appointment and someone was sent to my house within a week to do an estimate. He was very thorough,including going up on the roof and checking the structure to give me an accurate quote. He explained every detail and option that was available. I signed for the job that day. They called me a week later to tell me they were dropping off materials and my roof was complete two days later (they had to stop for rain and return). They promised a clean job and they cleaned up everthing so I was very happy. A week later another person came by to once again check the job and to see if I had any concerns or questions before I was billed. They were professional.

The experience was ok. They were timely. The insurance company would not go for it so I think the cost was high.

The estimate appointment was punctual and professional. They make good use of technology, IPads and email for their documentation. Very conscientious about picking products. The scheduling of the work was exact, received reminder calls and updates when supplies were ordered. The workers showed up on the day they were scheduled and worked outside in very cold weather all day. They were professional and courteous, updating me on their progress. So far I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend.

The representative was very polite and informative.

Due to the timeline of needed repairs, I went with another contractor. I would have no problem getting another estimate from this company.

Excellent. A nice man arrived promptly and efficiently explained possible reasons for the small leak after a severe rain storm. He inspected the roof. All seems OK. He asked to call him if the problem happens again.

They did a great job. I was very happy with them. They were professional and did a good quality job. I asked them to replace some wood where it was rotted. They did not do that for me. That was the only issue.

I had to have them come out twice to repair leaks. They had not sealed the roof vents. I think that was a very careless error. Whenever there is a really heavy blowing rain, I get a new spot on the ceiling. I haven't called them anymore because I just don't trust them. I am contemplating another new roof. It will NOT be done by M&M!

Our experience with the estimate process was very good. It was interesting in that we had 4 estimates. Two of those said that we probably could not have it done for a few years. The other two didn’t say whether it had to be done or not. We had some anesthetic problems with the roofing. The way it looks isn’t great. It was done in 1996 and just because it doesn’t look good because some of the shingles were starting to curl it doesn’t mean that it is not going to last for a couple of more years. This was told to us by 2 of the other companies, but M&M did not say anything one way or the other about it lasting a couple of years. They just gave us an estimate and were very thorough on that. They wanted to do several things that we probably wouldn’t have them do. They wanted to do make 5 additional vents in the roof. The other two companies that we had out here didn’t say anything about that, so we are a little confused on that. We had another bid by a different company, which was $9500. The 2 bids were comparable.

Estimate was much higher than another firm

M & M were responsive and professional throughout. Their crews were polite, worked quickley and efficiently and cleaned up prior to leaving the site.

About a week after their repair, we had a heavy rain and found some small water spots again on our ceiling. We called M & M and they came out in about 3 days and found the area that needed more repair. This was done to our complete satisfaction as we have had no leaks since. The followup to complete the job was prompt. Any calls were returned also in a prompt manner. Staff was polite and friendly. The guarantees for their work was thoroughly explained to our satisfaction and the balance of the bill was paid without extraneous charges. This is a reliable company that we would definitely hire again if needed.

I feel like they overcharged and did unnecessary work that cost us a lot of money. There was small print in the contract that we didn't even notice. I was going to have them do other work, including another roof but we were so dissatisfied that we canceled the rest of the job.

The craftsmanship, punctuality and on time performance was second to none. The attention to detail was fantastic. The company did everything that was discussed at the time the job was estimated and performed in at utmost professional manner. The workers made phone contact prior to arriving and even gave the time each day they were going to be at the house. They worked hard even in the worst of humid hot conditions to make certain the job was completed in a timely manner. The guys cleaned up after the work day was complete like you never knew they were even there. I will recommend this company to anyone who is in the market for remodeling or exterior home upgrade. I will definitely hire this company again for the future work I have planned for 2011.
