SAVE YOUR MONEY THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! This company charged me for a brand new pump in 2015. It recently went out. When they came out and pulled the pump out they told me they did not put that pump in and they have not put those kinds of pumps in in 30 years. They also proceeded to tell me that the date code on it was from 2004. They replaced the pump with what I hope for the second time is brand new. In the mean time I found my receipt from 2015 because they “could not find it” in their files. On my receipt it says they put in a brand new pump in 2015. This means they must have put in a used pump in 2015 and charged me full price for a brand new one as they just did again in 2020!! Office staff is very rude and unprofessional. They were not willing to work with us in the least bit. When I asked the owner why he told me they have not put those pumps in in 30 years his reply was “ I was just saying that.”

They did a great job depressurizing the water supply system, installing a new tank and adjusting upper and lower [cut in/out] limits on trigger switch. Happy with the install. Still in good use and standing as I write on 12/29/2014. Absolutely would use them again. Also, they were a good source of great word of mouth references.

The line from our water pump into the house developed a leak last Thursday. We didn't know what the problem was until doing some research and then narrowed the leak to our water pump. We called another well and pump service on Friday, May 11th. I received their proposal on Monday - expensive and they couldn't do the work until May 21st which meant another week with no water. I then called Economy Well Service. Jim and John arrived at my house 1/2 hour after speaking to the office. They gave me a bid to complete the work which was 2/3 cheaper than the first place I called. They said it seemed my pump was working fine and I didn't need to replace it at this time (a savings alone of $750). The other place said it needed to be replaced. Jim and John said they could come back to do the work on May 16th - I asked that they come on the 17th as my husband would be back from an out-of-town meeting. They arrived first thing this morning, on time and got right to work. They completed the job in less than 2 hours, cleaned up the site, discussed everything they had done with my husband and charged us less than the original estimate. I felt so comfortable with Jim and John when they came out to give me the estimate. I truly appreciated their honesty in suggesting that I need not replace the pump at this time. The work done today was totally professional, they were friendly and gave us a sense of confidence that our problem has been resolved. I would truly recommend Economy Well Service to anyone that is in need of well or pump services.
