+ -1 moreThe previous home owners had Duane install a whole house, natural gas generator in 2000. Not long after we bought the house in 2006, the power went out, but the generator didn't come on. Duane come out to evaluate the generator, $85 for a service call. He found that mice had eaten through the wires. The battery was dead and the charger wasn't working. He recommended these be replaced and gave me a price quote. He also noted the oil filter and spark plugs were original. He recommended replacing these parts and an oil change. He didn't have all the parts so they had to be ordered. It took him over eight hours at $68/hour, four separate visits, and $350 for parts to complete the work. When the bill came, I was shocked, $952.80! For that kind of money, I could have a certified auto tech come out to my house, work on my German car in my driveway, and perform those services. I will never use him again.
Description of Work: Service performed on back up, whole house, natural gas generator. Replaced battery and charger, changed oil, filter and plugs.

+ -1 moreTHEY DIDN'T DO A GREAT JOB, BUT IT WASN'T TOO BAD OF A JOB EITHER. I THOUGHT THAT THEY TOOK TOO LONG AND CHARGED ME TOO MUCH, BUT I'M PICKY. THE WORK WAS OKAY BUT I MIGHT LOOK AROUND FOR SOMEONE ELSE.
Description of Work: THEY DID SOME REWIRING IN OUR LAUNDRY ROOM.
