HOWEVER, the unit has a defective thermostat control board and has been abt ONE YEAR trying to get them to do the warranty work. The manufacturer has agreed to provide a new control board as warranty work, but this company has not responded to phone calls, emails, texts.

With a name like "Southern Indiana Electrical" you would think that they would service Southern Indiana. I live about 25 miles away from Corydon and was told that I was out side the distance they would travel.

they came on thursday, gave a price for the job. they returned on the following friday , removed the old system , installed the new system. they arrived promptly,did a great job , were very neat, and professional. when the bill arrived in the mail, it was exactly the price they had quoted. i am so pleased to have found this company on angie's list...it saved me so much time and worry !

We have used this company many times and will continue to do so. They are always professional and know what they are doing. We are always confident the work has been done right. We would not want to consider using another company, that is how much we trust these guys.

They have been wonderful. They were prompt and friendly. He was right on time. He explained everything.

Stopped by their office in Corydon and spoke with receptionist (office attendant) on or about September 30. Requested an estimate to rewire home and to replace/upgrade heating system. Three weeks later, no contact. Went back to see what what happening and nobody was at the office.Now one month later, no contact at all. I don't know if the office attendant dropped the ball or if this is just Purcell's way of telling me they already have all the business they can handle. If they were too busy, I would have appreciated a call telling me so. I can understand if you cannot take on more work. I would not rule out using them if some communication issue is at fault here.

Purcell Electric responded within 2 days of my request for outlets. Upon their arrival, the crew was very respectful and worked well as s team. The completed the work taking extra caution not to damage walls or mar woodwork. They worked quickly and seemed very dedicated to following electrical code. Part of the work involved opening up our main panel, where they found charred wires and a burnt, brittle component of some sort. Being a serious fire hazard, they got approval from the owner to obtain the supplies and.fix the problem immediately, even though they were needed at another location. Their concern over the problem and our safety was genuine, and we are grateful for their expertise and dedication to eliminating the risk despite the demands on their time.
