Missed three scheduled appointments in a row. Tried to say what size system we needed over the phone with no load calculations. Do not call this company for an HVAC replacement because regulations call for load calculations to be done in order to get an efficient system that will last. Manager indicated that he didnt want to waste his time on the calculations for me.

I thought this to be very odd since I am very familiar with HVAC stuff. I called another company and they came out and showed me that the leak detector has 3 settings. When the detector is set to the narrowest setting it will pin point leaks. When set to the widest setting, you can just be within a foot and it will beep detecting a leak. That is what the guy from Peters did. He stood back waving the wand around and it was beeping in this huge radius. He claimed the whole and quot;Aand quot; coil was bad. The other company pin pointed the leak on an elbow, not unusual he said, and repaired it for less than $50.00. I had used Peters for years and couldn't believe they would do crap like this. I called them and at first they denied there assessment was wrong. I then explained what they had done with their detector and what company B had showed me with the detector's settings. If he had apologized, I wouldn't have this as an issue. He was defiant and I told him someday I would report it. Today I am looking for certain service from an HVAC company and I saw that they were on here with a good rating. My jaw dropped. The date is a guess. It was a few years ago in the summer. I don't recall the exact date.

We've used Peter's for all of our heating and cooling needs. We tried them because of having had a bad experience with another higher priced company. Peter's has been great and we've never looked back.

Peter's came out and accurately diagnosed some issues we were having with our HVAC system. They designed and quoted a system to fit the needs of our house. They determined the existing system was insufficient for the size of our house and this was causing a lot of stress and damage to the system. The replacement went smoothly and all the individuals involved were very professional. The final results were neat and clean and things could not have gone better
