Accurate Home Inspections

During home inspection, our inspector Dave tested for radon & the tests came back very high. Marcus their licensed mitigation specialist came out & it was recommended to mitigate with an external fan vent. From the basement. There was concern that they might have to install another system if the levels didn’t come down far enough so a more powerful fan in the first phase was what we went with. The levels came down to virtually nothing & no second phase was necessary.

Dave did a very thorough & extensive inspection for my 1880 house. All areas of concern were addressed in order of importance which made it easy to prioritize concessions & work orders. They were by far the easiest part of the home buying process. They might be a little more expensive then others in town, but you will get what you pay for. If you want to know everything that could possibly be wrong, they are the ones to pick.

I would highly recommend Accurate Home Inspections. Marcus is very thorough but doesn't alarm either the buyer or the seller. A true professional!

Marcus was very detailed with the inspection and took his time answering all of my questions. The inspection report was very detailed, but easy to understand.

mDave was thorough and efficient. The report he provided us, was well documented, with supporting images of his findings. He was well prepared with the proper equipment and tools.

I am purchasing an existing single-family home. Accurate Home Inspections was recommended to me by my realtor. Marcus from Accurate Home Inspections was about 15 minutes late, however he gave me a call right at the time of my appointment to indicate that he would be. It would have been nice for him to be on time of course, but things don't always go as planned, and the call to apologize and let me know was very professional of him. From then on, everything was great. Marcus was very thorough and clearly knew what he was doing. He spotted a few minor problems with the house that I never would have seen, and his attention to detail was appreciated. He also noted many things that were not problems, but could evolve into problems in the future. He was very friendly, and immediately answered all the questions I asked. I now know far more about the house I am buying, and have a long list of things to fix, improve, or keep an eye on in the future. All-in-all I would highly recommend Accurate Home Inspections based on my experience with Marcus, and will certainly do so to any of my friends looking to buy a house in the future.
