I was happy with them. They came when they said they were going to. They did exactly the work they were paid to do. They worked around the dog. I would use them again. In fact, I have contemplating it. I did the contract for a year, and they did a very good job. I got a nice 20% discount for paying in full.

I am very pleased with the work that Spring-Green performed. The woman who scheduled the service was charming; the price was reasonable; and the work was done properly. I plan to hire Spring-Green to do additional work in the spring.

They would come every 3 weeks, spray and leave an invoice on my door. Fast efficient, and certainly effective.

This is the 2nd year we have used Spring-Green lawn service and are very happy with the results. We used them to aerate the lawn earlier this spring and were happy with the results of that as well. We have used other services in the past which were all ok, but we feel that Spring-Green is the best and our lawn reflects their care and looks the best it has ever looked. We look forward to the rest of their summer and fall applications and highly recommend them to anyone else looking for good lawn care service with great results.

I was looking forward to having Spring Green because they treat several lawns in our neighborhood and they look good. The day of our first treatment--which was over a week later than I had originally been told it would be--the technician was doing three yards at once. It was a windy day and he was riding around the yards VERY fast doing the application. The first thing we noticed as the hours went by was that a third of our non-customer neighbors' lawn had been treated by overspray. Then we started noticing that flowers in the beds were wilting along with my peony bushes and a small maple sapling in the yard. By the next day all of the petals were falling off of my tulips, which had just started blooming, and the neighbors on both sides--one of which was a customer and one who was not--had annuals that were dying. I called Spring Green and the person that I talked to was very nice, said that they would come out and check it, that I should water things and it would help. He didn't know what peonies were, but said that maybe they could do a root feeding if it would help. Over a week went by and I didn't hear anything, and then I got a phone message, basically saying that they had come out and looked that morning and that there was no damage that could have been caused by their spray. He said that the tulips in the back were losing their petals, too, and, very condescendingly, said that's what tulips do. Yes, tulips do. But over a week earlier, the tulips in the back weren't losing their petals, when the ones in the beds near where they treated were bare. (And I have pictures.) They hadn't looked at the peonies, which I am sure will be fine next year, but that is really beside the point; they shouldn't have been damaged in the first place. The speed of the application left ridges in our yard and the unevenness has left stripes of weeds. Because of all of this, when I called back I just left a message explaining that they had not addressed my concerns and that I thought it was best if they not come back. So, on June 9th, I happened to be working on my front porch when a different tech pulled up in front of the neighbor's house and started to unload. My neighbor on the other side was also outside working and was watching him. The tech started to come toward our yard and I waved my arms at him and yelled "No," and the other neighbor--who had damage after the first treatment-- walked over toward our driveway, too. The tech rode up the driveway and I told him that I had discontinued the service. He said, "What?" and I said, "I fired you guys." He said in a really snarly tone that no one had told him and started to turn toward my lawn. I yelled (because his machine is loud) for him to stay off my lawn and he turned and gave me a really nasty look. After that he went back to his truck, and I returned to my yard work. A couple of minutes later I got a call from Spring Green asking about the "run-in" with their tech. I explained what happened, and reiterated that we weren't happy with their services and didn't want them to come back. At that point the caller said, very belligerently, "Well the tech says you threatened to "beat his ***," using language that I wouldn't use. This is not the way that I would talk to anyone, or even the way that I think. I told the caller that I had most certainly not said that, and that furthermore, my neighbor had been right there the whole time. When I told the neighbor what the tech had said, my neighbor was feeling like he needed to go say something, but I told him there was no point. When I told the caller that my style of responding was to contact the BBB or review them on Angie's List, he said that *I* have an attitude problem. The words and actions of the tech and the caller have given me an impression that Spring Green needs some work on their company culture and attitude. I do want to make clear that we never ended up paying for the first treatment.

They did a wonderful job. The company was very professional and respectful. I definitely would recommend them to anybody.

All went well. Spring Green arrived and went to work immediately applying the fertilizer and pre/post emergent products to the lawn. Everything was clean and neat when they were done. They always put the invoice in my door when finished and they leave. If I want to talk to them, they are very professional and helpful, or if they need to ask me something, they knock on the door. Otherwise they do their job and leave in a timely manner. I do not have to be home for them to do their work.

We've used this service for a couple years, but I don't remember the exact price for a full season of lawn care. Services included fertilization and aeration. The service was frequent (maybe 7 times from March to November) and they always came right on time. We were pleased with the results and were happy to not have to fertilize the lawn ourselves.

Pros: The product seemed to help the health of my grass; application was very quickly done with a riding applicator. Cons: Prior to service I was not contacted about either date they'd be coming to my home; the service man rode the applicator over the wild flowers growing under my oak tree (which were then killed by the herbicide). I happened to see the service man finishing the first application (Spring 2014) but was unable to stop him from applying the herbicide on the area under a tree where Spring Beauties were blooming. The only indicator of a second application was a sign placed in my yard and some fertilizer granules on the driveway. As a first time customer I felt that the service was not personal,. I would have appreciated the service man knocking on my door and telling me he would be applying the product and ask if there were any areas I didn't want covered.

It was great. I upgraded my plan so they gave me a credit towards my charge. They did a good job, showed up on time, when they said they would be there. It went well.

Spring-Green always calls before the day of applications, to be certain that the time is convenient. They arrive on the day scheduled, complete the work, and leave a note at the door as to the condition of the lawn and any appropriate suggestions as to improvement. The note includes billing for the service performed; however, I complete payment at the beginning of the season, and the note reflects that I have paid in advance. There is a discount for payment in advance for the season.

They did exactly what was advertised for the package. I received a phone call one to two days in advance of them coming. A couple of times, I hadn't gotten home from work yet, but a list of the work done was left on my front door handle, along with the name and phone number of the person who did the job, in case I had any questions. My yard is weed free and lushly green.

Service went well. They forgot to treat behind my fence, I submitted a message with my payment, and they came back and retreated for no charge.

Very professional and informative.

The service man was very nice and knowledgeable. Willing to do what was needed to give a good job. He said he treats other peoples yards like his own. The job was done very well and he also cleaned my driveway of debri to produce a better looking landscape.

This company is great and responds to any complaints or comments I have.

They are affordable and do a decent job. After a few treatments we tend to not have any weed problems.

I have spoken to them on them on the phone and I think it a man and his wife. They seemed very responsive when I called.

This is not a good report. They didn't do what I ask them to do. I had to cancel them. They weren't very nice about it. I had to write them a check. I was going to go on Angie's List and give that feedback. They solicited me. When I called them and wanted to get an estimate, the lady in the office wrote down everything they were going to do when they came. Then based upon that, I was going to sign up for their year long special. Instead when he came. I didn't have to be here. He didn't go over any of the information to write down and get back to me. They did a treatment without my approval. When I called, she acknowledged everything was written down, but, didn't act like she wanted to do anything about it, so, I just paid for the one treatment. I told them I didn't want them to come back, which I didn't teally think I had to pay for, but, I really didn't argue with them about it. The pricing was fine. I had to call and remind them. I want use them again in the future. I probably would have used them if she would have just saved me the sale. She could have told me they wouldn't charge me this time. She could have sent a guy right out here. She could have said there must have been a miscommunication. She just acted like she was too busy.

They have been very good. They make my lawn really plush.
