+ -1 moreBlue River is a little bit hard to find, but it's worth the effort if you're looking for something that's different from ''the usual suspects'' that you see in everyone else's yard. Blue River's plants are not as cheap as Lowe's, but they grow their plants themselves, so you know they're Zone 5 hardy. They have a great selection of perennials for both shade and sun, as well as many shrubs and many evergreens, especially dwarves. They have planted beds all over their properties that show how the plants look in the ground and in combination with other plants. Blue River does not guarantee their plants, but I have found them to be quite healthy. The staff are somewhat helpful, depending on whom you talk to. Also, they have a fairly comprehensive website that lists almost everything they have, so if you're looking for something special, check to see whether they have it before you drive out there.
Description of Work: While Blue River did not technically ''perform work'' for me, I have purchased many plants this year and over the last 2-3 years from them.

We grow the vast majority of our own nursery stock which includes perennials, vines, flowering shrubs and bushes, dwarf conifers, Japanese Maples, ornamental trees, shade trees, some vegetables, fruit trees and evergreen trees. We offer custom design and landscape installation services to our clients.
We do not offer extensive hard scape and irrigation services at this time.
